The room was excellent in size, with a sitting area , coffee table and lounge. Very comfortable and relaxing. The whole atmosphere of the former convent was ever present and interesting. It was unfortunate that there was no view from a small high window, but that could be in keeping with the convent history. The bathroom was spacious with plush monogrammed towels. The bar and dining room were also in keeping with the historic atmosphere, with appropriate furnishings. The bar is available to all for personal use as well as drinks and snacks during opening hours, convenient for self catering patrons.

The parking spaces are very tight, and not reserved for the period of the stay. An extra 5euro service charge in the dining room.

This converted convent had lovely high and wide rooms and corridors. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, if in need of a little TLC. Our room was standard, but we thought that it was good value for money. Breakfast was excellent, but bar and dinner prices were high in proportion to the quantity and quality. Most staff were helpful, but I was glad that I speak some Spanish, as many spoke only a little English. There were plenty of places to relax. It was very central, but there wasn't any information about the town.

A nice welcome from the Lovely friendly helpful people who work there. Communication before we arrived was perfect. The room was usual Parador old fashioned standard. Clean and beds very comfortable for us. We had a little balcony too which was a bonus. Seating area round the bar is lovely and traditional. Didn’t eat there as wanted to explore Mérida and eat tapas on the way. Parking an advantage but expensive at 22 euros per night. Haven’t paid for parking at other Paradores? Many thanks for a pleasant stay.

Bathroom is very tired and could do with an upgrade. Seemed like bath had been painted? Parking price.

The location was perfect. The room was a good size. The bed was super comfy. We bought an inclusive ticket to see lots of sights of interest, and it did not disappoint. We loved our stay apart from the hotel did not say breakfast was included and it would be extra €20 /night each. The parking garage is expensive to park a motor bike for an extra €24/night. We have never had to pay to park a motor bike in spain before.

We had to pay an extra €24/night to park a motor bike. Never have we had to pay before in Spain to park a motor bike. We were told we had to pay an extra €20/night each for breakfast but our booking said it was included.

Fantastic location for all the Roman sights & town. Room was large with a sofa & chair & comfortable beds & clean, nice view over the front garden. Very enjoyable stay & a lovely town.

Breakfast was sufficient but the local cafe we found had a better atmosphere & value for money. The dinner was good but the staff seemed unorganised & everything took a long while. The parking was very expensive 22 Euros with the car room was very tight for modern cars.

Excellent well balanced breakfast. Very attentive staff and very good additional hot items.

The hotel felt like a rabbit warren so clear signage could have been much better. Parking should be included in the cost. It was an unexpected addition at check out.

Wonderful, beautiful room, comfortable bed, clean and large bathroom. The restaurant serves delicious beautiful food.

One member of our party is partially disabled and used a walker. This means that the other members of the party must carry her luggage plus or own, plus the walker, plus help her. You do not have a reasonable path from the parking lot to reception, nor from reception to the rooms, nor from the parking lot to the rooms. You can do better. Please improve.

Comfortable, clean room in a big, old convent. Walking distance to the historic sites. Dinner was good, in a nice restaurant Breakfast ok. Tea/coffee facilities in the room. Good bar for drinks and snacks.

Staff were not very welcoming or helpful. A very long walk to our room, with no assistance from staff, so we got lost! Building work outside the window in the morning (temporary obviously)

Lovely hotel with some historical features. About 10 minutes walk to the centre. Parking was secure in a garage. All very comfortable.

Door of the room was difficult to open but maybe just our room. We arrived on a Sunday and many of the restaurants were closed so we had an evening meal in the hotel which was ‘ordinary’ but quite expensive. Parking was a bit on the dear side also.

The Parador is set in a fantastic old building which is just loverly, there is a pool and plenty of outdoor seating space considering its location is set in a built up area. Food was good as we ate dinner here and breakfast is the same as other Paradors which again is good and plentiful. Room was not as large as other paradors but what I would consider as quirky but was nothing wrong with this, it ads to the charm.

Bar was shut for refurb so you where served in the outside spaces, which worked.
