It was clean and the location was quiet. The reception is welcoming

I had requested parking however they didn’t honour this and I was told they only had space for a motorbike which was not suitable We had to park on the street which has very limited parking. We drove round for 40 minutes trying to park ( no car parks in the area) and when we did eventually find a spot you could only park for 1 hour 30. And when this expired you had to drive to another area / street to park for another 1 hour 30. You could park from 9pm to 9 am free It was not expensive to park but so hard to find a place and then for such a short time. So if booking this hotel make sure they confirm the parking

Additional bed was just a couch that has a horrible mattress which is a kill for your back - especially if you have trouble with it. Main bed in the main room was okay, but additional one (for family room) is a no go. Also, there is no kettle in the room - and this was important for us as we were travelling with a 4-month-baby, but we were able to get hot water in the morning from the bar (it would be more convenient to have it at disposal during the day and night).

Location, 5 mins from all the main attractions, 5 mins from the train and bus stations. I got an early train and without notice called in the hotel to see if I could drop a small bag. The gentleman on the reception couldn’t have been more accommodating and even set me up with a map and directions. Room 3 star range but that was what I was expecting, good value, clean, good shower. They have food facilities and connection with a bar across the street that looked good but I didn’t utilise. A+

Met with my expectations

The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Gran via which meant it was quiet at night but near the centre. Room was a nice size with fridge. It was about 15 minutes from the bus station for exploring the region. There was a nice Italian restaurant La Tarantella opposite.

I would have liked an English language news channel on TV and either a softer chair or the headboard on the bed to be raised slightly so you can read in comfort.

Clean with what appeared to be new, good quality sheets and new towels. Bed was comfortable. Parking onsite and underground 15 euros for our one night stay, emailed to reserve. Few minutes walk past shops and a couple of cafes to the bridge into the old town. Lighting in the room was very good and good blackout curtains.

Would have liked to see the bath re grouted, it was a little shabby but on further inspection was clean. Sink and toilet were very clean.

We didn’t take breakfast, but it smelt great. Only a few minutes walk to the bridge to cross into the city with all the tourist sights close at hand. Lovely, helpful staff.

The decor is a little bleak and the low shelf above the head of the bed is in just the wrong position for banging your head on awaking, a headboard would be better.

We really like the location and the very reasonable price. Just a short walk to the river, the cathedral and Plaza de Las Flores, but Pacoche is also in its own barrio with is own bars, shops and restaurants. During this trip we used the hotel car park which was superb, and which we will use on our next visit for sure.

The bed was great, firm but very comfy. Room was clean, everything worked. Free bottle of water was a nice touch although I only got that on the first two days. Location was great, close to the river and a short walk to the centre.

It’s a 24 hour reception desk but I didn’t know that. I called several times a few days before as I realised I wasn’t going to arrive until after midnight and was worried I wouldn’t be able to get in. When someone eventually answered they didn’t speak any English and my Spanish is rudimentary so we didn’t get anywhere. I’d also emailed a few times but didn’t get a reply…until I’d arrived. Then I received at least two emails a day during my stay telling me the desk was 24 hours.

Central location, great staff, very accommodating,

The €15 charge to park your car, I would not go again with a car. We asked staff to give us an early morning call as we at to be at the airport early. Unfortunately the staff member must have forgot to call us. We had to rush to the airport. Wont make that mistake again.

Super clean classic hotel room, a little bit vintage but everything shiny. Polite personnel, value for money breakfast. The bathroom was cleaner than my home's.

If I had to say something not so satisfying was the windows which was not opening for safety reasons I guess.
