The room was big, beds very comfortable. Bathroom also large with everything you would expect and more, such as a magnifying mirror, nice quality soaps and big towels.

The outside temperature was very warm when we arrived and the room temperature already on 25.5 degrees, which went up to 26.5. We would like to have turned the air-conditioning on to adjust the room temperature down to 22.5, but were told that the main system doesn't switch over to air-con until later in May. It was therefore either hot or off. We opened the window and left it open all night, but the temperature never went below 25. This was particularly irritating. The staff varied in level of friendliness from just OK but not particularly welcoming, to very helpful and friendly to almost rude and not apologetic about the air-con.

We booked this hotel last minute because we were in the area. It was December and very cold. The inside of the hotel was surprising with comfy lounges mountain style and very comfortable. It has a welcoming and relaxing feeling. Good place to be with friends, chat, play games and have a drink by the fireplace (if there was a bar in this area, which unfortunately there isn't).

To contrast with the lounges (renovated old building) the restaurant/bar was very cold looking and not very appealing. We had the intention to get a drink after dinner but the room was so cold looking that we decided not to. Maybe is more welcoming in the summer when it's hot outside but with cold winter weather the restaurant/bar is very plain, all white, very cold looking and in huge contrast with the rest of the resting areas. We even decided not to get breakfast in the Hotel because it's didn't look cosy and it seemed expensive. The room we stayed in was ok and the bathroom was warm, which was nice, but it needs some remodeling to get a more modern feel.

One of our rooms had a great view to the village and castle. Rooms were super spacious and well equipped. All the comfort expected from Paradores, although the building itself is not an old castle or monastery as with other Paradores. Lots of free parking (even with shadow). Short walking distance from the old village. Great staff and service. An easy sort drive to the Lake.

We weren't offered any hot dishes at breakfast, unlike with other Paradores.

Just about everything. Motorbikes parked outside reception. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Comfortable room.

I wanted to join my friend in the dining room but only wanted a drink.There were no tables in the loosely partitioned cafe available. I was told in no uncertain terms I couldn't. Ridiculous interpretation of rules.

Well situated for travellers and those enjoying the local area including the village and castle which are low key but interesting. Quiet and comfortable. Very good breakfast with freshly cooked items to order. Covered parking is excellent but possibly limited if hotel is very busy.

No early evening meal option as generally in Spain.

Very large room clean comfortable. Under cover outside parking was good with the option of secure under ground paid parking. 15 minute walk to the town. Breakfast was good, staff friendly and helpful.

For a very large hotel, you would have thought they would of had a nice bar with lounge, they only had a few tables in a cafe style area. The weather was horrendous so everyone decided not to go out and there was not enough seating to accommodate everyone.

Close to the town. Very clean immaculate rooms and all areas of the hotel. Great inside secure parking for our motorbikes. Very nice staff. The pool looked lovely but we didn’t use it as only stayed one night on our road trip.

There is nothing we didn’t like.

The hotel itself was wonderfully clean and styled, with a range of facilities we weren't able to try because of time constraints. The bar and restaurant staff were great and both evening meal and breakfast were excellent

The reception on check in was not very welcoming, no smiles just a bit robotic.

A minor comment: Room temperature very uncomfortably hot at night, and not possible to adjust control. For a one stay only option was to keep the balcony window open which allowed some night noise.

Very clean . Good location few minutes walk to the town centre. Quiet. Excellent free parking . This is not a historic Parador… it is a new build. Very nicely appointed inside. All staff are great. Breakfast pretty good. I just wish it was a bit cheaper

Relative to other hotels , it’s expensive
