All the staff were excellent and went out of their way to help. This includes those on reception, housekeepers, at breakfast and in the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was very good and though we ate out elsewhere on one of the nights, we could have easily dined there for all four nights. A good range of food for breakfast.The location was very good with a number of bodigas being within easy walking distance. Our room was very spacious with a large comfortable bed and ample storage. The seating area round the bar was comfortable with decor we liked.

It would be nice to be able to choose the room you’re staying in when you make the booking, as rooms in the same category vary a lot. A laundry and drying room would be a useful addition to the facilities, particularly after swimming.

Our family (1 parent and 2 teenage children) stayed for a week here and had a wonderful time. Our triple room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was every good, especially the home baked pastries, with a beautiful view overlooking the vineyard and volcanoes. The location of the hotel was perfect for us - it's away from the tourist crowds right in the centre of the island, near a main road and the local town of San Bartolomé, with most of Lanzarote's attractions and beaches just a short drive away. You can also walk to the local villages, wineries and volcanoes from the hotel or borrow bicycles and there is a bus stop across the road if you need public transport. We loved the hotel facilities, especially the mini golf, the garden and the sauna (the pool was unheated and the weather wasn't very hot so we didn't try it). There were several nice spots for sitting with a drink and a book both inside and outside. The restaurant was just fantastic, serving delicious local food and wines from the bodega next door, so we (over)ate there several times. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Jessica and Gro and the rest of the team were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. One of my children has a hidden disability and they couldn't have been more flexible and accommodating around meals and housekeeping. We could have easily stayed there another week and we'd love to go back next year. Thanks to everyone at Hotel Rural Finca de La Florida for a lovely holiday!

I can't think of anything that could have been improved. On the first day one of the kids got stuck in the bathroom but the staff came and fixed the door quickly.

First and foremost the staff – Jon and Martín – are charming and extremely helpful and obliging. They made our stay special. Warm thanks to you both. The restaurant is excellent and we ate here four times during our stay. Our room was lovely and spacious, with a large bathroom and also a private terrace overlooking the vineyards. We slept well throughout our five-day stay. We breakfasted just once in the hotel, and found it to be excellent with a wide range of options to suit different tastes. The hotel is also very well situated in the central-south part of the island, close to local vineyards including the excellent El Grifo, to which we walked and where we particularly enjoyed the winetasting.

Buffet with local cheeses and cured meat. Some days a local porridge was also on offer. Beautiful views from the breakfast room over vineyard and mountain. The sauna was a welcome treat after a long walk. Restaurant available in the evening; we used it once as we explored the other restaurants on the island. Very friendly and helpful staff. The receptionist had many recommendations to explore the island.

We could hear some of the plumbing in the night.

My recent stay at this hotel was really nice. The room was clean, providing a comfortable stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly, always ready to assist with a warm smile. What truly sets this hotel apart is the abundance of on-site activities. From mini-golf to a relaxing sauna and enjoyable card games, there's something for everyone. The combination of a clean room, friendly staff, and diverse activities made my stay really pleasant. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway with all the right amenities.

Hotel was fantastic! The à la carte dinner was excellent, and the open-buffet breakfast was incredibly delicious. The staff were unbelievably attentive and warm-hearted — they genuinely went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Set right in the middle of the vineyards, it was a perfect spot. Thank you to the amazing team for such a wonderful experience!

Very good breakfast. Really enjoyed the evening meals we had there.Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely views from breakfast room of vineyard and volcano. Peaceful location. Easy to visit all locations on the island with the hire car.

Minor points-Gym needed updating. Lovely hotel but is starting to need some maintenance( eg paintwork)

What a lovely little hotel this is! I think what makes it from the start is the friendliness of the staff. I ended up eating there every evening because the food is superb and good value compared to other similar nearby places. The room was nice although another time I would go for a room with a view. It is simple to get to from the airport and central to explore the whole island. It is also well away from the tourist resorts - but close enough to can get to them.

Very nice staff, location and surroundings; the views over the finca and landscape is really nice and services are also good (gym, mini golf, breakfast). The staff has been very helpful in giving me suggestions regarding restaurants and places to visit.

€180/night is quite high but may be due to last minute booking and peak season.

Excellent location right in the centre of the island. Peaceful rural setting, eco friendly. Love the way they use products from their own 'finca'. Very comfortable room. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. All of the staff were warm welcoming and helpful. The bar/restaurant manager Jon was exceptionally warm and hospitable.
