Good value for money.Check was easy and all the reception staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful . The room was comfortable and well equipped . At breakfast staff were always on hand and the food was generally of good quality though some of the hot food was tired. Choice was limited but general. Parking was nearby under the castle and well worth booking as Santa Pola is very diificult to park in.

It was exceptionally clean, all the staff were very pleasant and always helpful. The decor in the rooms and quality of furniture & soft furnishings throughout the hotel were outstanding. The location of the hotel was central and just a few yards from the castle & shops, bar and restaurants and only a further short walk to the beach & marina. The breakfast room and kitchen area was spotless. The staff were very helpful.

Due to the position of the hotel there were no windows to view anything outside from my room or an outside area to sit.

There was a musty smell in our room

We were passing through and only stayed one night, but everything worked very well. Clean and nice place, practical rooms and pleasant service. It doesn't get more centrally located than this. Very nice that the hotel has parking in a nearby car park.

We needed to get into the hotel to pick up the card to get into the car park, but the streets outside were with one-way driving and narrow and without any possibility to park or just leave the car for a short while. I had to drive around a number of times, while my wife collected the card and got directions to the car park. It wouldn't have worked if I was alone in the car. Not much the hotel can do about it, but could be good for others to be aware of.

Clean, modern hotel in an excellent location close to the castle, the nice beach, fishing harbour and marina and, of course, restaurants. Good Dia supermarket nearby. Friendly staff and very good General Manager. Great breakfast with good selection of cold meats and cheeses, as well as fruit and pastries. Santa Pola feels like a proper resort, even though it is quite close to Alicante airport - an easy 25 minute taxi ride

We were generally more than happy with the hotel and would certainly stay again. Just a few nitpicks: Breakfast does not start until 8.00 - though on request pastries and fruit are provided for an early "takeaway" departure. , Although there was a very welcome fridge in the room, only paper beakers were provided No English language TV Room 1 (the ground floor Queen Suite with spa bath) was spacious and very comfortable but had little natural light.

It was so fresh, clean with lots of little details and extras you wouldn’t expect in a hotel in this price range! You do need sat nav to find it and the car park but once you get sorted, it’s perfect!! Great location. Good breakfast and helpful, friendly staff!! Loved our brief glimpse of Santa Pola as we were heading to the airport nearby, the next morning!! Definitely will return for a longer stay!!

Having to find the hotel to unload and then to find the car parking too. Would have been so easy if you knew the town.

It was my second stay in the hotel Narcea and it was as enjoyable as the first. The place is right in the heart of the town, but it’s very safe and quiet. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The room is immaculately clean. The breakfast is lavish and delicious. I look forward to my next year holidays in Santa Pola and to my next stay in the hotel Narcea!

A very warm and helpful receptionist. Large warm quiet comfy room with fridge and kettle plus the usual high standard of shower, bed etc. Breakfast was very good, with fresh and dried fruit, cooked eggs, bacon etc. Croissants, pastries and muffins. tea and coffee etc.

No view from the window, just a white wall looking down into a courtyard. Coffee machine was slow an only served small amounts

Great hotel with great staff who were all so helpful. Very clean and great breakfast. The hotel was a few minutes walk to beech and marina down a lovely pedestrian walkway with loads of shops and just ten minutes walk to bus station for bus to Aerport in Alicante I stayed only one night a Thursday night and it was very quiet and had a great night sleep.

The location is perfect. It is literally minutes walf fron the Plaza Glorieta, the beach, shops and restaurants. There was a good variety of hot and cold items for breakfast. All staff, but expecially Reception staff were very friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing I didn't like.
