Good value for money.Check was easy and all the reception staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful . The room was comfortable and well equipped . At breakfast staff were always on hand and the food was generally of good quality though some of the hot food was tired. Choice was limited but general. Parking was nearby under the castle and well worth booking as Santa Pola is very diificult to park in.

Very centrally located hotel with pleasant and functional rooms. The electric kettle - a rare find in Spanish hotels - was much appreciated. Although I didn't make use of it, I liked the fact that they offered an early packed breakfast given that I had to leave the room before breakfast was served.

Due to its central location and its proximity to Santa Pola's party area, there is some street noise. Also, I could hear noises from the corridor and the neighbouring rooms (shower, toilet flushing). Lastly, even though this did not affect the quality of my stay, I was a bit worried after I turned the A/C off, then back on, becauseI wasn't sure if it was actually working (even though the receptionist assured me that it was). It would perhaps help if the hotel provided clear instructions to check if the A/C is on or not.

It was exceptionally clean, all the staff were very pleasant and always helpful. The decor in the rooms and quality of furniture & soft furnishings throughout the hotel were outstanding. The location of the hotel was central and just a few yards from the castle & shops, bar and restaurants and only a further short walk to the beach & marina. The breakfast room and kitchen area was spotless. The staff were very helpful.

Due to the position of the hotel there were no windows to view anything outside from my room or an outside area to sit.

Very clean and modern in great location with helpful friendly staff. Probably the best hotel breakfast we've had in a long while. Plenty of choice and the food was hot and eggs prepared as you like them

The only downside was it was in a busy street and a bit noisy, but you expect that in a town, so it's not a game changer. The coffee machine was out of order, and there was no hot water to make instant, but again, not a game changer......we had delicious orange juice instead.

We were passing through and only stayed one night, but everything worked very well. Clean and nice place, practical rooms and pleasant service. It doesn't get more centrally located than this. Very nice that the hotel has parking in a nearby car park.

We needed to get into the hotel to pick up the card to get into the car park, but the streets outside were with one-way driving and narrow and without any possibility to park or just leave the car for a short while. I had to drive around a number of times, while my wife collected the card and got directions to the car park. It wouldn't have worked if I was alone in the car. Not much the hotel can do about it, but could be good for others to be aware of.

There was a musty smell in our room

Clean, modern hotel in an excellent location close to the castle, the nice beach, fishing harbour and marina and, of course, restaurants. Good Dia supermarket nearby. Friendly staff and very good General Manager. Great breakfast with good selection of cold meats and cheeses, as well as fruit and pastries. Santa Pola feels like a proper resort, even though it is quite close to Alicante airport - an easy 25 minute taxi ride

We were generally more than happy with the hotel and would certainly stay again. Just a few nitpicks: Breakfast does not start until 8.00 - though on request pastries and fruit are provided for an early "takeaway" departure. , Although there was a very welcome fridge in the room, only paper beakers were provided No English language TV Room 1 (the ground floor Queen Suite with spa bath) was spacious and very comfortable but had little natural light.

The hotel is beautiful! Everything is at a high level, repairs, food, staff. Thank you so much for such a vacation and for your comfort. The breakfast was very delicious and varied. The room is always clean, no noise bothered us. The staff is smiling, which brought a good mood. Thank u! We will definitely visit again.

there are no bad impressions

Ideally situated in the centre of Santa Pola near to the main square,restaurants and cafes. Plenty of parking. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the room we had was comfortable with air-conditioning.Welcomed in the 37 degree heat. Staff very friendly & efficient. Breakfast starts at 0800 and consists of a good choice of hot & cold food. All freshly cooked.

It was my second stay in the hotel Narcea and it was as enjoyable as the first. The place is right in the heart of the town, but it’s very safe and quiet. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The room is immaculately clean. The breakfast is lavish and delicious. I look forward to my next year holidays in Santa Pola and to my next stay in the hotel Narcea!
