It was 10min walk to Catedral and the shopping street ,supermarket just around the corner. Every night there is a some program for the guests. Guest are from 18-80 so you can really see mix of everything and hear lots of interesting story.

You an put the curtains on the bed for more privacy maybe and don’t use soooo strong chemicals for cleaning the bathroom or just with not so strong “parfum” Friends Entering in the room and havya little gathering after 22…

A clean social hostel in a safe and central location. Walkable to most of the stuff you'd want to see in Seville. The staff was all very kind and helpful and had great recommendations of what to do around town. They host family dinners and bar crawls as well if you want to be more social. The dorm beds all had curtains and a light in an AC room. The halls and bathrooms were not a/c which was a bit annoying, but not bad at all. The communal bathrooms were always clean and never full when I wanted to use them. Never had to wait for a shower or sink in the morning or night.

I would not recommend this place if you have any kind of mobility issues. I'm a pretty athletic, small young person and climbing in and out of the top bunks was kind of terrifying. These bunks were higher than average (good for privacy at least) and going up and down in the dark a lot of the time felt kind of unsafe. The lockers were also on their last leg and very loud the way they were built (no way to quietly pull your stuff in and out-- is tarted leaving stuff out in my bed and room for use in the morning to avoid being extra noisy). There was one window in our room but the way the room is configured much of the window is blocked by a bed. I think they tried to cram an extra bed into the middle of the room and I really think it felt too crammed with it.

Excellent location within easy walking distance of the city sites, restaurants, and bars. Shared bathrooms were kept very clean and serviced several times a day. Plenty hot water and space for getting changed. Stayed in an 8-person female room, which had a window to aid ventilation. Lockable cupboard beneath the bed with ample space for 2+ bags. A program of activities were run every night, offering meals and companionship for those that wanted it. Large shared kitchen and social space available with fridge space for those wishing to self cater

Mattresses need changing and no privacy curtains. Experienced a little noise in the early hours on weekend nights as the street is used by those walking home

After my first several-day stay ended, I was super happy to extend my stay at this comfortable hostel, not once but twice!! Staying longer in Sevilla to enjoy the pleasures here and of the beautiful area, right outside door.. anything one desires (ancient monuments, groceries, shopping, plazas, gorgeous architecture).. all within a few minutes walk. Thank you, muchas gracias, to Black Swan’s amazing manager Diego for his awesome leadership, facilitating free dinners many times a week.. and to everyone on his team, especially — staff Santiago, Ramon, and Alex on front desk and Loli housekeeper, and volunteers Hazem, Kim, Jazmine, and Emillie — who, with their hard work and attention to detail and care of guests, Black Swan Sevilla is a super inspiring hostel, with a vibe and kitchen and environment to share our stories, our lives, food, and our love of history and the world. It is with deep affection, I feel privileged and grateful to have learned and grown as a person here. Muchas gracias a todos.

Centrally located to many sites and grocery stores, which made it easy to get what you need for food in the hot summer days of Seville. They have an elevator of you need to skip the stairs on the 3 levels. Common area is busy with other travelers and easy to meet other people. They have back patio for sitting and bike parking. The rooms are well air conditioned for those hot days. Most rooms have a common area bathroom, but my suit has an en-suite bathroom. Lockers underneath the bed and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are quiet. They have a paella class a few times a week, along with a pub crawl and some nights out to see flamenco dancing.

The hand dryer in the bathroom doesn’t work properly. So bring your own towel. Would be night to have a proper chessboard to engage with people differently.

Great hostel with friendly reception staff and cleaners (and volunteers). Special shout out to Santi especially, who was extremely helpful and friendly with what to do and where to go. He went the extra mile to make sure I had a great experience, particularly for the pub crawl, which was much appreciated. I had a problem with my room at one point during my stay and the maintenance person and the hostel manager were very helpful and resolved the issue satisfactorily and apologised. Very sociable hostel with great daily activities. The hostel is kept very clean- including the kitchen, which is a definitely a challenge with the amount of use it gets. I really liked the travel magazines to browse in the common area and the computers available, which is a nice bonus. I stayed in one of the penthouse suites on the top floor and it's a comfortable space with a great terrace (shame it was a tad too cold to sunbathe in January!).

The noise of the lift/ elevator was quite loud and I could hear it every time it was used. The kitchen felt quite busy and crowded at times, especially at dinner time. The maintenance person fixed the problem I had in my room quickly. However it could have been fixed sooner if the new person on reception was aware it was a minor problem in the room, and could have been resolved by one of the reception staff, rather than having to wait until the maintenance person came the next working day.

Big busy hostel with many travellers passing through. Location is very good. Communication was fine. Staff were nice and helpful. In particular Alexandra who was kind enough to let me use the terrace for my yoga practice before the official opening time of the terrace at 10am. Good dormitories and decent bathrooms. All nice and clean. There are several communal areas, including the terrace, which is super hot in the summer, but still good to have as one of the quieter spaces in the hostel. Good kitchen and nice lounge with patio. Co-working area as well, but with a little weird set-up and lighting, not the most user friendly. Invitations to activities and a free 'famiky dinner' - very cool, although you must remember to put your name on the list beforhand or you might not get fed.

It's a big and busy hostel. The constant movement can be a bit overwhelming.

Upon arrival I was welcomed with friendly events such as an unexpected common dinner for free! I could have read the plan better, of course, but in my case it was a welcome surprise. They had other nice social activities planned, the environment was very laid back and friendly. I had an upper bed and it was so far from the ceiling and stern that I could literally walk on it! The bunk bed structures are solid and very discreet. The fridges were well organised and plenty of leftovers clearly made available for everybody to consume. The location is SO central!

The mattress was quite thin and worn out. I personally don't mind sleeping on harder surfaces, and don't know if they were all the same, but I would mention that. During the Semana Santa it's almost impossible to go back at night because of the location being SO conveniently central... :D

The location is perfect next to the center and the bus station. The facilities are very regularly managed by the staff so it was always clean. The common areas are perfect for solo travelers to connect with others and the events organized such as flamenco (please go to this one), free dinners, and pub crawls were memorable. Rooftop is also nice spot to get the breeze on the hot days. But MOST importantly, the staff and volunteers (shout out to ❤️Claudio, Evelio, Renske, Leonora and Santiago❤️) made this trip the best ever. They shared local spots and cute corners in Sevilla, and their companies will make this trip unforgettable ❤️

Air conditioning in all rooms, social atmosphere, large and fully stocked kitchen, easy check in, luggage storage, enough bathrooms, extra blanket on bed, fridges to store my own food. The location was INCREDIBLE! I also liked how they have game nights every other night which allows you an opportunity to make friends even if you don’t want to drink and party.

The doors and lockers had locks that were super loud so it was almost impossible to come in quietly and not wake up roommates. The patio closed at 11 pm and the doorstop even earlier at 10 pm- especially for Spain, that is too early and makes socializing with new friends you have met difficult, The kitchen and living room closed at 1 am, so basically, if you wanted to socialize but not go out to bars it was impossible to do so late at night. The luggage room is not locked so theoretically anyone could take your bag, which I found odd.
