The parking is first class but being an older property is fairly tight. However by no means impossible- it just means you take a bit of extra care unless you’re driving something wee like a Mini! Our bedroom was amazing as was the bathroom. My only comment would be that the bedroom only had a small window so it could have done with better lighting. .

Well this is the downside. We were told that as the hotel was busy we would be switched for breakfast from the normal dining room to a large barn of a place. We had the worst breakfast I can remember for a long time. The Bain Marie food was stone cold. To counteract this all the milk on display was hot or at least warm and the disinterested waitress who was ostensibly on duty seemed to think it strange that we wanted cold milk for our tea. The general impression was “take it or leave it”. The other strange thing was the lack of a bar. We tried to order two gin and tonics (not for breakfast), but that was a no no.

The location is excellent - we'd forgotten how great Toledo is, and the hotel is very close to the centre. The underground car park is quite tight: the entrance is narrow and steep, and there are numerous columns to navigate - but we managed without any trouble - and the bonus was free use of the two EV chargers. The room was comfortable; the bathroom modern. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel is in two parts - go up the wrong stairs/lift and you get lost before you have to return to reception. Not a major issue but it caught us out once. The wifi worked perfectly in the public areas but dropped out in our room.

The hotel room and facilities were superb. The room was spacious and well layed out. I loved the jacuzzi, the double shower and double washbasin. The room was facing the court yard, which was very quiet and we were able to sleep well without traffic and other noises. The hotel is well situated and has easy access to the old town by foot and a bustoo is right outside to use the local buses. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel and are happy to return.

One of the sides of the sofabed was broken and came off when leaning on it. Not sure how this could have been missed by hotel staff. However once we reported it, it was fixed the next day. One of the hand showers was not working properly with all the water coming out on one side. In my opinion, these things should be checked when getting the room ready for the next guest. We used the breakfast buffet on two occasions but found it not up to standard for a 4star hotel. Yes, we could have ordered an a la carte breakfast, but having a buffet breakfast available, it is nice to be able to choose and pick what you want. It was disappointing

Our room was stunning. In the old building with its own hot tub. Extremely comfortable and clean. We also liked having a Coffee machine in the room. The staff on the reception desk were lovely. The parking was secure.

The breakfast was quite poor especially when compared with all the other hotels we stayed in. The toaster took forever, and only stone cold and rubbery fried eggs were provided which stuck to the pan on both days. We had to argue to obtain a cappuccino when the machine was right behind the rather sullen and unhelpful breakfast staff. The hotel did not offer evening meals outside of Friday and Saturday.

Room was very spacious, clean and modern with a huge hot tub and large double shower. Hotel had parking undeneath (they said it was not assured they would have space but there were only 5 or so cars and it could hold over 20 on 2 levels - a little tight in garage). Only 5 minute walk from Toledo gate where to right of gate you will find an escalator to the top of old town (Escalera mecánica del Parque Recaredo). Breakfast was generally good (see below). Excellent bedding and pillows. Staff helpful dealing with a mosquito that got into our room.

Eggs and bacon on buffet were a little cold. Couch was tiny and no decent chairs which was odd for such a large room. Not a fan of having bathroom and bedroom together in one space. Room was a litte pricey. Need to bring luggage up stairs from level 1 of parking and getting to level 2 was tight around turn onto ramp down so we opted to haul up the stairs.

We stayed at this property for the purpose of a friends wedding. We forgot to request an early check in and asked upon arrival. The manager facilitated our request and ended up giving us an upgraded room and let us check in so we could leave our bags and get ready for the wedding that afternoon. They were extremely accommodating, excellent service. The room was perfect, very clean and good air conditioning.

It is the best option in my opinion to stay in Toledo. Very comfortable place. Close to everything. We traveled with the baby, and the hotel provided us with the baby cot and even prepared a baby basinet with a little duck. This was very cute and melted our hearts. They have a wonderful cafetería downstairs and the hotel is a walking distance from other outdoor restaurants and churrería.

We were in the Attic room so the view was only out a high window. The room was quiet, clean and daily serviced. Breakfast was mostly continential but had Bacon and Eggs. Plenty of choice offered. Staff were brilliant and very helpful.

There was no pool and it was 44 degrees outside. it was within 2minutes of a bus service which cost €1.40 to get to the city centre. You could walk there in 15 mins but it was too hot. Only reduced the stars because of no pool. Air con in room was brilliant.

Location, outside the old town so easy to reach by car but only a 10 minute walk to the centre. The option of a cafeteria or buffet breakfast. It’s in a nice building. Great bathroom.

The room was on the top floor with a sloping ceiling so you had to be careful with your head.

My room was a good size, well arranged, with a great view of the arena. Breakfast was enjoyable, with numerous choices. The staff was very helpful and always available. Everything was neat and clean and the bed was very comfortable.
