Hotel very good; nice sized room, enormous balcony, decent pool area. Lovely outside breakfast area; shaded in the morning. Good breakfast spread. Hotel doesn’t seem massive so has a nice small feel about it. No children - hurrah. Room 411 with Balcony & Sea View - excellent. Attractive pool area with 3 cabanas, more than enough sun beds & sturdy umbrellas. La Rita bar & snacks. Central location for shops, restaurants, beach & train station 5mins walk. 2 supermarkets next door. Town has some really nice Plazas and real restaurants

No outside light on balcony - looked like the bulb needed replacing but we were told that the hotel ‘doesn’t have outside balcony lights’…. Shame

The staff was friendly, and I appreciated the fact that they were able to get me in prior to my check-in time, especially after having flown all night.

I informed the front desk several times that some of the outlets in my room did not work. Also, I had trouble with the television. They kept telling me they would send someone to fix both items, but they never did send anyone and it made it difficult for me to charge my phone And it’s frustrating to only have local television when one does not fluently speak the native language.

Third visit: the biggest improvement is the moving of the bar to the back of the hotel, making it such a more attractive space to drink, particularly when combining it with the outside area, which gets the sun and has good views. Breakfast is still good. On our last day we departed the hotel at 0330 and the hotel had set out a continental breakfast for us to eat before we left, which was a great thing. However, we did not know they were going to do this, so whilst I nice surprise, we didn’t leave much time to eat it before the taxi arrived. Cleaners do a good job. Views from our rooms were good and balcony space huge. Ate dinner in hotel one night and enjoyed the food quality and selection. Good showers in the rooms. Good location to access both the town and seafront. Nice pool area and pool.

Something which the hotel still have not put right - inadequate wardrobe space and not enough hangers in them. I was in a room which would normally be used by two people and yet there were only 4 hangers in the wardrobe. There needs to be far more. Four wasn’t nearly enough for me alone - had I been sharing the room, it would be two each. Addition of irons would be good too. By the middle of the week both my room and my friend’s room had unpleasant smells coming from the bathroom drains.

Great location. Staff were very friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean, nice shower. Breakfast is great value for money.

Great location, staff and breakfast. All staff from check in to cleaning to breakfast to technical assistance were readily available with a smile. Very near tons of restos and only 4-5 min to beach. Appreciated adults-only quieter concept, as an option to the large competing hotel nearby full of screaming pool-side children.

The effort to modernize is appreciated but needs to move faster. Clunky elevators, poor signage off of staiways/alt elevators, bulky furniture. Pity no on-site parking, but options near. Luckily the great staff makes up for any inconvenience.

Beyond our expectations. The hotel was even nicer than on the pictures. All staff members were friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast and dinner options were amazing (to name a few: tortilla de patatas, grilled cod, salads, different choices each day....) Also, the room was comfortable and pool area very nice. And the location - in the city center from one side and straight to the beach from the lower side, perfect for a relaxing vacation.

We stayed at low season (november), so we had plenty of space, but I can imagine that at high season it might get a bit crowded (breakfast and poolside area).

Comfortable single room. Only a single bed but fine for a couple of nights. No view unfortunately and could have done with an extra pillow. Lovely hotel and a welcome drink on arrival.

Received a lot of messages to pay through an online payment link via the booking.com message centre. I had already guaranteed the room with a credit card so this was unnecessary and a little threatening as they said the reservation might be cancelled. I ignored the messages in case it was a scam and called the hotel who said it was fine to pay on arrival so what is that all about !!!

- Location: The hotel is built on a hill with two entrances, one up in the city center and one down close by the beach. Absolutely perfect! - Staff: Everyone I interacted with was fantastic. - Food: Simply amazing, abundant choice for breakfast and dinner, and the restaurant’s terrace has amazing views. - Beds: Probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in. - Cleanliness: The room was cleaned every day and you also get an eye mask as a welcome gift :) - Other: They have an iron to borrow at the reception. You can postpone checkout for 10 EUR/hour. They can store your luggage at the reception.

- Bathroom: The bathroom could do with a little renovation honestly. Also, it has just a sliding door, I was traveling alone so no issue with that, but if you’re with someone you don’t get too much privacy I guess. And finally, no toilet brush…?! - Extremely thin walls: Seriously, BRING EARPLUGS, I had people in all rooms around me snoring all night, I would have died without earplugs 😅 You can hear every move people make especially at night.

The hotel lobby has an old school feel in a good way. Leather furnishing and real wood, everything feels solid. I booked the cheapest room and and it came with a lovely balcony facing a quiet road and magnolia trees, very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were soft and not bumpy. Bathroom was remodeled as well. The room furnishing was nice, definitely not luxury, but felt cozy and relaxing. I liked it very much. The greatest surprise was breakfast, which was very inexpensive to add on booking and was fantastic. All kinds of food and champagne too! The restaurant has beautiful views of the sea, we sat on a patio, very enjoyable. The staff was super friendly. All in all, our stay was excellent. The value for the money can’t be beat in this hotel.

In a great location being in walking distance of plenty of small shops. Short walks to restaurants, bars and supermarkets.Adult only hotel which is its own plus! Rooms are a good size, bed is very comfortable, cleanliness is on point. Immaculate air conditioning and nice balconies to sit and watch the world go by. The pool is a good size with a comfortable lounging area. Plenty of variety at breakfast and dinner so great value if you're considering doing food with your booking. About a 6 minute walk from the train station so easy to get to. Access to the beach is simplified with how the hotel is laid out giving you options above and below. All the staff were warm friendly and gracious, from the front of house, cleaning and restaurant staff. A real credit to the hotel and its culture. Will always look to stay here when feasible

Only a minor blot was tried to avail of late checkout in advance but told it could only be asked for on the day you're due to checkout. To then be told it wasn't available, surely it would be logistically easier to arrange if asked for in advance? But still that was the only thing
