- central but quiet location - pedestrian street but you can get to the door by car to drop off your luggage - friendly staff willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible

- Parking. It is relatively far to get there by car because you need to use one-way and avoid pedestrian streets. But it is close to the hotel if you go by foot. It is a public paid parking but you pay at the hotel the reduced price and get the ticket, which gives you access to it. Once I arrived late in the night, the parking gates were closed. The receptionist came with me to help me solve the problem with access to the parking. Overall, what would you expect from the hotel located in the historical downtown, 5 to 15 min away (by foot) from the main tourist attractions?

Amazing location near, but not in, Plaza Mayor. Entirely walkable to everything. Beautiful entry. Interesting decor and design. Tasteful and whimsical. Staff were amazing and helpful. We were able to store luggage after check out for a couple of hours while we went to eat. Beds were medium firm. Aircon was especially welcomed as the temps were high 90s to 100+ f.

Sounds transferred easily on the 2nd floor between rooms and the hallway. The cathedral bells are on time, every time, starting first thing in the morning. Bring earplugs or headphones! The room was an odd shape, making the sleeping area a bit awkward. But we became used to it.

The lady on the front desk both mornings was wonderful - friendly, kind and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is very central and ideal for a short visit to the city.

There is no coffee machine in the room, and although you can get coffee in the hotel next door, initially I was told they didn’t open for coffees until 8am. You can hear a lot of noise from the other rooms (doors opening and closing especially) so I’d advise taking ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Loved my room, and bathroom, big and kept clean every day. The staff at the reception were all really kind and welcoming every time you come in or leave, and helpful too when I needed to print my train ticket and book a taxi. The breakfast is also really good, great selection, all very tasty, and the chef/ waiter is very kind and welcoming to all guests. And the location is perfect! Really central and walking distance to everything. Will stay again next time. Oh and I was given a gift of a box of chocolates when I checked out! So kind. Completely recommend:)

Very friendly staff upon check in and check out- both conveyed a true sense of hospitality! The location was central and perfect for our needs. Discount on the nearby parking garage. It’s an older property and tight quarters but that all added to the charm! We found the scenic view from our room to just add to that urban charm- some might not like it- but it made us smile!

The things I didn’t care for are nothing worth commenting on- just comes with the territory of staying in city center!

Ideally located - just a 5-minute stroll to Plaza Major. You're straight into the pedestrianised centre when you leave the front door. 15/20-minute traffic-free walk from the train station (Plaza Colon-Calle Acera de Recoletos-Calle de Santiago-Calle Constitucion-Calle Regalado-Calle Nunez de Arce). Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room beautifully decorated and furnished, bathroom spot-on, with a walk-in shower.

I am delighted by the kindness of the reception staff; I don’t remember ever experiencing such warmth and hospitality anywhere else. They gave us recommendations for restaurants, offered help with anything during our stay, and even assisted us late at night with adjusting the air conditioning. Highly recommended!

Very attentive and nice personal at the desk, they will give you a map and a nice chat about the city. The room was very cozy - great bed, big bathroom,tv and everything you need. They greeted us with some sweets - which was very nice and warm. The location right in the center close to the bars, park, shops.Very calm and chill. Will definitely come back

The location is perfect, the bed super comfortable and the staff very friendly! We would come back here for sure.

The walls are a bit thin, but luckily our neighbours went to bed early and were quiet at night :)

I liked everything about this hotel and room. It is super updated, amazing bathroom, an awesome shower, very clean, and the full-size bed and pillows were so comfortable that I did not want to get up. I felt very safe at this hotel and in my room. The staff were so nice and attentive.

I travel with a lot of luggage and it is very heavy luggage. Upon arriving, I was shocked that I had to take each piece of my heavy luggage up about eight stairs. The staff offered to help me with it, but I did not want to put any of my burden on them, so I opted to do it myself. I was helped with a couple of pieces, down the stairs at check out, which I was truly grateful for.
