The hotel is close to the railway- and busstation and to a big commercial center with lots of restaurants (partial fast food) and all kind of other shops. It is also about 15 minutes away from the old center and the harbor. The hotel offers a breakfast, which is toast, with meat and cheese to put on it and two kinds of sweet rolls, fruits, coffee, tea, yoghurt and freshly pressed orange juice, which is a lot for Spain.
The bus system is not very good, therefore cheap. We needed to take a taxi to the airport, because there were only two busses on sunday going to the airport. If you go to Vigo, my recommendation is. go to one of the Tourist Offices and ask for a map with the places you like to visit. Without a map you can lose your way pretty fast. And ask which bus/train to take.

The hotel seemed to be recently renovated (the pictures show old beds and headboards etc) - so it was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well Breakfast was basic (no hot food) but not bad as it was included... The street below could be loud but with the window closed we didn't hear anything. I couldn't close the window but when I told the reception in the morning they immediately sent someone up to check.
Everything about the hotel was ok as expected for the price. Just a note about the location, there is no grocery store /supermarket near by. Nearest carrefour was 12 min away (including a few mins steep walk) .. nearest froiz was I think 8/9min walk.

The location of Hotel Panton is amazing - it is only a short walk of 4 minutes to Vigo-Urzáiz train station and the main train station and a 20-minute walk to Vigo Guixar train station. The main shopping street and the old town is a short walk away also. The hotel itself was wonderfully clean. The rooms are a lovely size and our beds were made everyday. The beds are very comfortable. The staff are very friendly. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend a stay here to others. We can't wait to come back.
Can't complain about anything. We really enjoyed our stay.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a nice bonus - especially the machine for fresh orange juice, which was a great touch. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location is super convenient: just a 2-minute walk from Vigo Urzaiz station and about 15 minutes on foot from Guixar station. Perfect for a short stay in the city-would definitely recommend!
If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the breakfast variety - it felt a little limited, and a bit more choice would have made it even better.

The location is perfect just a couple of steps from the main train station which is a shopping mall with lots of options to eat. There’s also an Indian restaurant across the street which is fabulous. The hotel is just simple but comfortable very clean and somehow updated. good shower, comfortable bed and pillows, I personally don’t think that the price goes to me is a little bit high for what you get. they have a breakfast for eight euros, which is simple but good enough to start your day and the fact that you will pay almost the same outside for less amount of choices of what you get in the hotel we went for it the three nights we were there.
The staff is not very friendly. It’s just right they answer the questions and give you the information, but it’s hard for them to smile which is not part of their job but helps.

The bedroom was quite nice and big, all commodities were available. Nice location near the bus station and a shopping center.
The concierge refused to tell us if there was free parking nearby after we asked what the colors on the parking spots meant. (Being foreigners it was a fair question) He said quote: "That's something you should know, I am not allowed to tell you. But we have a daily parking which costs 15€..." Regardless we found parking nearby and got the parking rules explanation on the Vigo city hall website.

How central it was, close to everything. Spartan, but clean, equipped with all necessities. Friendly staff.
The noise!! Construction noise starting at 8 am, people talking and children playing right below my windows till at least midnight. And street cleaning at 3 am. Also, there was a hum that I was able to mask by turning on my own air conditioning. All that made for poor sleep, even with headphones/ear plugs.

I work while traveling (teaching online group classes with video on on Zoom), so my biggest concern is having a) excellent (not only "good") wifi, b) a desk and chair, and c) late checkin and late checkout so I can travel around my work schedule. In this very centrally located hotel with 24-hour reception (I checked in around 11 pm), my cute little room on the 6th floor had first-class wifi with zero hiccups while also being perfectly spotless and boasting brand new furniture, air conditioning, a comfy double bed with fresh bed linen and a spacious wardrobe as well as an equally spotless ensuite bathroom. After finishing my classes and checking out at 12 am without any additional worries or charges, they were also so kind as to let me leave my luggage and work in the breakfast room for a few hours after checkout before my train departed. In addition to that, the older gentleman at the reception was very laid-back and nice. On top of it all, this was an excellent deal for 40€. I'll be happy to return anytime!
The socket below the TV in the breakfast room didn't work when I tried charging my phone there. That was a minor nuisance, though, as I found another one to use.

The size of the room was good for one person. The bed and pillows were perfect. The bathroom was big. The TV and air conditioning worked as expected. And most important, it was very clean.
The shower was 'broken' so the water pointed to the wall. You had to lean against the wall to shower (although there was enough pressure to have a good shower)

Helpful and friendly reception staff; breakfast staff were hard-working and cheerful and the breakfast choices were great; very easy to have a hearty breakfast in preparation for another day walking the Camino; rooms were large and we had one overlooking the water. Our friends also had a room overlooking the water with a walk-out (tiny) balcony - perfect. Walking distance to restaurants in nearby laneway. Lift in hotel very much appreciated.
Nothing - a great stay.
