The location of this clean, well maintained hotel, a 20-25 minute walk up from the train station, was the original reason for my choice. But what I really liked about the area, both during and after the stay, was appreciating the hustle and bustle of everyday life in this safe area, as well as the huge variety of restaurants and other businesses for everyday, working people.

The lack of a small refrigerator in the rooms.

No breakfast included, but a small cafe was adjacent to the hotel. Location was as desired. Close to both terminals of transportation. The shower head was easy to operate. The water at the shower head was was more than hot enough to take a hot shower. Towels were clean and seemed new. The whole room seemed new or well maintained and clean. No noise from cars, buses, motorcycles or people. Small cafes nearby.

The key to enter the room was difficult to open the door. The wifi disconnected a few times on the balcony and room. Didn't know how to raise or lower the balcony shade. Only one chair on the balcony.

The room had everything I needed and everything was very clean. The bed was quite comfortable and the room even had air-conditioning. The bathroom was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was no way to lock the door from the inside (even though you can't enter without a key, but I would've liked that extra safety measure).

Bearing in mind the very cheap price, the room was comfortable, a bit more spacious than I thought, had a tv (although I didn't watch it), clean and in a good state of repair. Although breakfast wasn't included in the price, the small bar did a decent (if basic) breakfast of toast (2 slices) with a variety of toppings and coffee for 2.50 euros. Location was good, although about 2-3km from the old town and bridge the walk was direct down Avenida De Madrid and on the direct bus route. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars in the surrounding area at a reasonable price with good Spanish and International food and supermarkets/shops too. also near taxi rank. Staff spoke Spanish clearly enough for me to be able to understand and converse and were helpful when I asked about things (like early breakfast, busses and taxis).

Not a big problem but we seemed to be rationed to a small sachet of shower gel and one of shampoo each day (having very little hair this was less of a problem for me as I was able to make the shampoo go further).

there are no locks at the door. and it can access from outside the door. so its not safe when you are sleeping

Single use room was tiny. Had to use bed or chair to access suitcase, asked for stand at the front desk - they didn’t understand. I have had “budget rooms” in Manhattan. Also, not well soundproofed. Room heater only blew cold air - luckily, it wasn’t too cold overnight (and additional woolen blanket helped).

The hotel was modern, comfortable and clean. The receptionist was terrific. Really charming and very, very kind. Because one of my family had an accident I was alone getting all our luggage to my room and she was really helpful.

The location wasn't that central, but there were restaurants nearby and buses into the centre.

Location half way between the stations and the city centre.In a real Spanish area.

The light above my bed didn't work the plug socket by my bed wouldn't take my plug but the one in the bathroom did, so had to charge my mobile in the bathroom The plug in the bathroom was starting to come away, from the tiles which could be dangerous, photo attached The receptionists didn't speak much English so I didn't think much chance of getting it fixed while I was there.

The room I was given, is clean and fairly new, especially, the toilet and the floor tile was renovated and reformed. It was nice and bright with the window that can open for some fresh air. The blanket which is soft to touch and also with the towel seem new too.

A little walk from Renfe Train station and taking buses to old town.
