We stayed at Ella Dream Mount as a group of five and had such a lovely time. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the views were absolutely stunning—a perfect way to wake up in Ella! A huge thank you to Sanju and the rest of the staff, who were so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. One night, they even helped organise tuk tuks for our night out and kindly waited up until we returned, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was included and while the spread was simple, it was fresh, tasty and just what we needed to start the day. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily recommend Ella Dream Mount to anyone visiting Ella!

Ella Dream Mount served its purpose, for us to stay a couple of nights in the Ella area before catching our train to Kandy. We knew it was out of town and that was no problem because it was a quick tuk-tuk ride in for 500 rupees. Our room was spacious with a lovely view. The wonderful staff helped with ordering tuk-tuks and had some useful information for our stay in Ella.

There was no restaurant on site so there was no choice except to go to town for lunch and dinner, not really an issue in the end because there are some fantastic restaurants in Ella. There was no communication at breakfast and we were just served without any questions. I had to go to the kitchen to tell them I don't eat egg, but after that they were very accommodating and made me yummy pancakes :)

The hotel is set on top of a slight hill, the view from my bedroom balcony was stunning! The location is perfect if you want some peace and quiet. But it's still possible to walk to town in about 10mins. The hotel also offers tuktuk services. Breakfast was great with a nice variety of Western and Sri Lankan items. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The room and bathroom was very spacious. We were able to eat dinner there as well.

The only thing that was a bit of a problem was the water pressure in the shower. It was very weak. But at least it was hot water. Otherwise, everything was great!

We have just spent a wonderful 4 days at Ella Dream  Resort.  Sanju and his team gave us great welcome  on arrival and on every return to the hotel. They provided a super breakfast  daily, all freshly prepared. The room was great,  bigger than it looked in the photo, with a fantastic view  over the hills from the balcony. Simply stunning. Thank you Sanju, you made our stay memorable . Would definitely  recommend

This is a facility with great building, nice terrace, fantastic view and environment. The room was big and clean and very well equipped. The staff were very nice and supportive. The position of the facility is a bit far from the Ella center but this might be a good thing as it comes with a peace and great view. The breakfast was mixture of open buffet and additional selection of eggs.

You should note the location of the hotel as you would need a transport to access the city center or be very bold to walk 3-4 km which was very dark during the evenings.

Excellent facility and food. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Particularly Sham and Lakshan were very attentive and supportive. Their support with first aid kit at the moment of need was really a gift for us and we can't forget that. The food was tasty and prepared immediately with short notice even in the late night. Definitely, we will prefer to stay if we visit again

This is a lovely clean hotel will staff who were so kind and helpful, lovely chill vibe with amazing views, it is a tuk tuk from Ella but the hotel arranged for us. We asked for laundry and it was done v quickly, we were v welcome and reception area and breakfast were lovely

The room could have been a bit more set up, we had to ask for a kettle, the curtains needed changing and just slight more attention would make this an even more clean and inviting stay

It was a wonderful stay at the hotel, if you are looking for nice view and reasonable price then this hotel is very good option. To the center 10 minutes by tuk tuk which cost you for two ways 3 dollars. Staff are so nice and very welcoming specially Sanju he was a great help which arrange even the taxis and trips around with good prices

Clean, great location and attentive staff. Sanju made sure we had transport to activities and made sure the tuks weren’t overcharging us. Sanju also helped us practice our Sinhala and taught us about local fruits. The breakfast each day was massive and a good range of Sri Lankan and western food. The view off the balcony was stunning, worth staying a little bit out of town! Honestly recommend to anyone staying in Ella!

Nothing - it was great!

Our stay was great, the best part was the warm hospitality of the crew lead by Sanju, who could not do enough for us. Sanju oeganised a special breakfast, Tuk Tuk's and a great driver onto the south coast. The view from our room was amazing and stay was very relaxing, not far from the town, but far enough to be chilled.
