Wild Resort was the best hotel we booked on our Route around the Island. The Room was very clean and comfortable. But the best at the location was the two guys we spent our time with. The Cooker Kurama and his colleague were really polite and helpful. We spent every evening with them and got the best food on our journey. We spoke a lot about the habits and had the chance to learn a lot about Sri Lanka. Ella is a town you should definitely stay minimum 3 nights, better would be 4-5 night. There is so much to discover and the hotel with that little pool in the little of nature (there is a big rice field in front) is beautiful. There is not that much tourism. What I also want to recommend is the cooking class we did with Kumara. We learned a lot about the Sri Lanka cooking habits and had a great time. definitely we would book that place again!!!

Everything was perfect

Wow what an amazing place to stay so close to Ella. Made up of only 4 rooms (2 bungalows and 2 family rooms) you really get such a personal touch to service. We stayed in the bungalow in front of the pool and loved sitting out on the patio watching the birds go by. Kumari the amazing chef / front of house was always on hand for any help as well as the fantastic owner who was quick to take us into Ella during bad weather. The definite high was the cooking class which was really thoughtfully planned. Can’t recommend enough

As with other reviews the water pressure isn’t a downpour but definitely good enough to wash soap out of long hair and always hot. The bungalow was a generous size but can be slightly tight with big bags. Would recommend to add a shelf above the sink in the bathroom but not a necessity just would be an added bonus

A fantastic hotel with even better staff. Tucked a little out of the way but only a short tuktuk ride into town (5 minutes), this hotel gives a great base to explore the area. The pool is small but lovely and the views breathtaking. Rooms are comfortable. Only (very slight) downside would be the bathroom - ours was basic but clean and functional which, when you think about it, is all you need. Staff are beyond helpful, even driving us to town when we struggled to get transport due to the new year holidays. The included breakfast was great. An absolute gem of a place.

When ever we travel through hill coumtry in srilanka, we use to go Ella and stay Wild Resort constantly because the location is wonderful and peaceful. Surrounded tea planted mounted range. Fresh air with soft wind and many songs of birds all the day long. Foods are excellent and staff are very friendly, trustworthy and dependable provided best service at all. This time we couldnt do any outside activity because my wife not in well. So I alone went to the town for an urgent need. The staff treet and cure my wife well while I was away. The place allways proof there responsibility , reliability , secure and hospitality at all. I specially thanks to the staff and best wishes from me and my wife to you all. Where to start! This property was amazing, the first and most notable was the staff there, who were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. They really went above and beyond and even helped us with our Tuktuk problems! The place was beautiful, the view was amazing and the pool was a little paradise! Rooms were all clean and well kept. Would recommend this to anyone travelling. 2 mins drive to Ella and the staff offer lifts too. They cooked for us on the first night and always made sure we had a drink and were always smiling. Thank you all!

Only around 15min walk to the restaurant area, and you’re surrounded by many wild animals 🙌🏼 a great spot for starting many tracks too. They have two little huts and three bigger family/group rooms that are equipped with everything you need, including a mosquito net and very well isolated walls. You have a small terrace with a great view to the mountains. The only sound you hear are birds and other animals singing! You can get amazing local breakfast and dinner made by Tarange, who will also take care of you whatever you need throughout the day. The host Rohan is also a very nice and professional owner, he took us afterwards by car to our next destination for a fair price. Will definitely come again!

Amazing little gem just 5 minutes outside of the Main Street of Ella in a tuk tuk. Very attentive staff who helped arrange trips and made sure we had what we needed. They had their own tuk tuk and could bring us to town and on trips for fair prices. We paid 500 rs for a ride to town. Breakfast was very nice. Weather in Ella is colder same as in Kandy, meaning it’s nice but the pool is also chilly. Our room was nice and well decorated. Good beds!

- Easy to find, great location - a nice distance out of Ella to be quiet and remote, and costs less than £1.50 in a Tuktuk to get to main parts - Lovely nature views and peaceful room and nice to have addition of the pool - Staff were so attentive and accomodated our awkward times for breakfast due to transfers, really tasty breakfast and teas too - We had AC our whole trip by the cost and were worried about not having it in Ella, so good to note it really is not needed in Ella at all, we actually turned the fan off in the evening as it was too cold. Ella is much cooler and 100% you do not need AC - Good wifi was useful to plan for next locations

One of the best hotels we stayed in!!!! So relaxing and beautiful environment. The staff went above and beyond and were just amazing!!!! They really make your stay so special and welcoming. Rooms were clean and food was very nice. The amount of nature we saw was amazing!!! Love it so much! Would highly recommend and would return!

The hotel is off a main road and our taxi driver was worried driving down at night but I think when he saw it the next day he was much happier!!!
