The location was perfect. Directly overlooking the water and centralized in Galle Fort. The design and style of the villa is very welcoming and makes you feel like it’s your home. Very clean and well maintained property. The best part of the whole stay was Nalin! The property manager who comes by everyday and makes delicious breakfast, cleans and manages the entire villa. Nalin also arranged things for us to do and transportation while in Galle and also when we left for another city. Nalin was very accommodating to anything we needed and even took breakfast requests so we could try different Sri Lankan dishes each day. He made us feel like it was our home for the 3 days we were there and made our stay one of the best my wife and I have had in all our travels!

A beautiful lodging in an historic villa in the old Dutch Fort just a few metres from the lighthouse. The villa sleeps 6 in three rooms although by far the superior room is the top floor apartment which is huge and so comfortable with views of lighthouse and beach. The other two double rooms are very small although the villa can also be booked as a whole having its own fully equipped kitchen. The premises are expertly managed by Nalin who provides a superb continental or Sri Lankan breakfast and attends to guests requirements with great care.

Air conditioning blowing directly on the bed, even at lowest fan, made it impossible to use during the night. When A/C turned off, it was too hot to sleep well.

Perfect location, nice ambience, fantastic staff.

The room I had was very small for a double bed. It filled the whole room, and there was no closet to put clothes in, nor anywhere to hang up clothes. I think the whole place is excellent to rent as a whole (it's a villa), and the rooms on the second floor are fully furnished.

Our stay was superbly hosted by Nalin, who made us feel very welcome and the breakfasts were superb.
