I spent fantastic 3 days at the villa. The boys were very helpful, the temple next door is “Must to visit”. The beauty of the place and tranquility is only shot tuk tuk ride to buzzing beach road. I had a privilege to go to fish market in the morning and buy prawns/lobster. The chef was cooking for me prawns with garlic and scrambled eggs with lobster. My advise for everyone who is in Sri Lanka to buy some batter and give it to the chef. Because every place I went (7) they were always cooking on margarine ( cheap, restless poison). If anyone like some fishing in the morning, I left improvised but useful equipment with the boys.

I loved everything but I gave some advise to the boys how make the room and pool are more attractive with no money involved. I am planning to visit SL in 6 month and wish to see the pool to be truly infinity pool, a mirrow in the room to see full body, the life green wall in the shower. No mouldy 20cm silicon in the shower 🙏

Very friendly and helpful staff! We could adjust time and menu for our breakfast day before and were allowed to have a late checkout. New modern facilities, big TV with Netflix access, clean rooms, hot water and shower with good pressure, clean cozy territory which is looked after. We totally had the feeling of a private villa (which it almost is, the hotel has only 2 rooms) - great value for the money!

Location - it is away from the shops, restaurants and the beach. But it’s quiet and relaxing, and you can reach everything by tuk tuk, so it isn’t really a drawback, but something to be aware of

A luxurious mini-hotel in a quiet location right on the lake shore. There are only 2 rooms, so 7 days out of 10 of our stay, we were the only guests. A large green area with lots of birds and other animals. An open-air pool with a stunning view of the lake. Very polite staff, always ready to help. The food is quite varied: very tasty local and European dishes. Meals are prepared especially for guests right before serving. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need, even pool slippers. No issues with hot water. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away, and the nearest supermarket is a 25-minute walk. By tuk-tuk, it's 15 minutes to Hikkaduwa center and 30 minutes to Galle. The hotel is away from tourist spots, making it the perfect place for a quiet getaway or retreat.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house near Hikkaduwa! The property is split into two stylishly decorated suites, set in stunning grounds with a pool, cabana, and views across the lake. Chathuranga was incredibly helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay special – even arranging a surprise birthday cake for our son! The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and the peaceful surroundings, with plenty of birds and wildlife, made it a perfect tranquil escape. It’s a short, easy tuk-tuk ride into Hikkaduwa if you want to explore, but if you’re after calm and relaxation, this is the ideal spot. Highly recommended!

This place really is amazing. Peaceful, beautiful, it’s like having your own private holiday resort. The peaceful location of the pool is breathtaking. The rooms are very comfortable with open views to the lake. The air conditioning works really well and is quiet. The room was very clean.The gardens are immaculate and they work tirelessly to keep them so lovely. The guys who work there are gentle and offer great service. We even ate breakfast with a monkey jumping in the trees overhead. I cannot praise this place enough. We loved it. Thank you.

A fantastic stay in a serene and nature-filled setting! The property has two well-designed suites with a common pool, creating a perfect balance of privacy and relaxation. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings made the experience truly refreshing. The food was outstanding, and the surprise cake arrangement added a memorable touch. The host was very friendly and went the extra mile to provide useful information about nearby places, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

- Great pool - Great big room and bathroom - Secluded location and only 2 rooms so if privacy is what your after this is a great choice

- The downside of the place having 2 rooms is that you are expected to order lunch and dinner in advance and select times for these. We found this difficult as you want to just eat when you are hungry and not try and pick your meals in the morning. Considering it’s rated 5 star you would think this should be possible. Thankfully we had our own transport so could to into Hikka for grub when we wanted

We had a wonderful two-night stay here. The hotel was very quiet, with beautiful lakeside views. Although there are only two rooms in the hotel, we enjoyed complete privacy. The hotel owner was very kind, and the butler, Chathuranga, was extremely friendly. The breakfast and dinner prepared for us were very thoughtful, and the service was attentive. I highly recommend this accommodation.

The only downside was the number of mosquitoes in the dining hall, but that also highlights the natural, untouched environment.

Waking up to such a serene and picturesque setting created an instant sense of calm and relaxation. What made the location even more appealing was its proximity to both the train station and the main beach, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The staff at the hotel were simply exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. From arranging transportation to nearby beaches to offering guided tours of the nearby temple – just steps away from the hotel – their dedication to ensuring our experience was nothing short of extraordinary was truly commendable.

The place was amazing, the accommodation was great and the staff were so friendly. They went above and beyond to help us and make our stay incredible. They took us to a laundry facility and then picked it up for us when it was ready. We were surprised with a birthday cake for my birthday without having asked or organising anything. I could highly recommend this place in every way, we had a fantastic time and would come back if we return to Sri Lanka!
