Lovely villa in Hikkaduwa. 3km from snorkelling spot, 2.6km from Turtle beach, 1.5km from surfing point. Supermarket right in front in the main road. Loads of great restaurants on the Beach. The in house chef is a very good chef and super friendly and a very nice guy who helped us a lot with transport and tours. The swimming pool was amazing. We also enjoyed the satellite tv as we could watch cricket live. The sunsets and beach is fantastic and we enjoyed the fact that it was a bit quieter than where all the major hotels were.

The kitchen needs an update and a big spring clean.

This three bedroom property is right on the beach, was the right size for our family. We went in the off season in July, so we had the entire beach for ourselves. The ocean and beach was amazing, kids loved it. The staff is very hospitable and efficient. The in house chef is very talented, and they made us delicious food. You can ask them to make a seafood bbq if you fancy, with fresh sea food !! (food will cost you additionally, but its sill cheaper and more tastier than outside food). The location is on Colombo road very close to Hikkaduwa town, so there is plenty of things to do. Lots of attractions just in a 15km radius. Overall, our whole family highly recommed this place and we would surely be coming back !

Hi all! The experience in Hikks Villa was excellent from the moment we popped in the house, the place was clean, well decorated and has everything you need. The front view to the beach is unique. I would stand out its service and peaceful atmosphere. Thank you team!

The house is situated on a. Dry quiet stretch of Narigama Beach just south of Hikkaduwa. There’s a beautiful view into the garden and ocean. The communal living a d dining area are fairly pleasant.

1. The overall state of all sanitary facilities was average to run-down. The showers have open ceilings, which is a bit bizarre in places where it rains heavily at times. The overall state off all guest room bathrooms was tidy, but a far fetch from “luxurious”. 2 the kitchen is basically only really usable by the staff. It was insanely dirty when we arrived and most cabinets are broken and worn out. The microwave was full of mouldy something and it was sticky on all surfaces. Pretty shocking actually! I did as the staff for a general cleanup, which they did right away. And they put a lot of effort into cleaning everything en detail! 3. The staff are there at all times so it doesn’t feel as private as we had thought. 4 the chef Danushka was very friendly and made some nice meals but beware of overbuying quantities and charging unnecessary high bills.

Our Chef was very kind and prepared a fresh welcome drink for us. He was very discreet and polite. The pool, garden and view on the ocean is beautiful!

We would have liked to know before (!) that the chef is living in the villa with us. There is no real privacy and feeling of safety because you cannot lock the doors properly. Because there's only one key we had to be at home to open the door for the chef... The pictures looked much more modern and cleaner than it was in reality. We didn't feel too comfortable because we paid quite a lot for this villa and expected more. After some renovation it might be a great place again.
