Lovely hotel with caring staff. The hotel is located in a very romantic place - on the shore of a lake. The access to the lake is subtle and surrounded by greenery. There is an opportunity to go kayaking, which we took advantage of. While paddling a decent distance from the shore, my partner lost balance and flipped over on a single kayak. It was not dangerous at all since the lake is shallow, and we were equipped with life jackets. We were amazed that within 4-5 minutes after one of the two kayaks flipped, the hotel staff, in the form of rescuers, were already sailing towards us on a small barge. It was so pleasant. The hotel workers are extremely responsible, caring, and friendly. Our absence during the night (when we were at a party) was also noticed, and the hotel staff wrote to us, discreetly checking if everything was okay with us. Our stay at the hotel exceeded our expectations: the room was perfectly clean, the bedding was soft and of high quality, there was an extensive range of toiletries, well-maintained grounds, a clean swimming pool, and delicious food. This is one of the best places we stayed during our month-long trip around the island.

During our stay, there were Europeans living in the neighboring room who wanted to create conflict with us out of nowhere. But this doesn't reflect on the hotel, it's important to understand that it's a global situation. And we are Russians. For us, it wasn't a problem. We always maintain a positive attitude in any life situation because our lives pass by too quickly, and we don't want to waste it on conflicts.

Although the hotel is somewhat remote, it is precisely this tranquillity that makes it so charming. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle, the hotel is the right place for you. It is run by a young group of locals who put their heart and soul into the hotel, and you can see this in every corner: nothing is missing - a small oasis in the middle of a turbulent world. The rooms are modernly furnished, the equipment is new and the entire complex is very well maintained. The staff fulfil your every wish and take care of everything, always with a smile on their faces. We have grown particularly fond of the manager: his friendly manner and his service ethos are rare - and we have stayed in many 5* hotels that were worse. Whether organising a night snorkelling trip at short notice, an excursion to see the whales, swimming with turtles or a simple trip into town, everything was organised at reasonable prices. Even if you needed something from the pharmacy, the staff took care of it without asking. All in all: very good service (rarely experienced like this), top facilities, top relaxation and top food and drinks (especially the local-style breakfast). Price-performance ratio is right. The hotel is definitely recommended and we will be back next year agian.

Literally nothing to complain about; maybe a bit more music (like relax/chill house music) - but that's complaining on a very high level

The personnel of the hotel were very kind and the food was really good, breakfast was awesome. If you rent a motorbike or car you can visit the best beaches on the area within a short period of time. Our stay at the hotel was super so we highly recommend this hotel as an option to stay on the south of Sri Lanka.

A Beautiful, Peaceful Stay Near Mirissa We had a wonderful stay at Kiss Blossom, a scenic and tranquil retreat just a 10-minute Tuk Tuk ride from Mirissa Beach. The hotel itself is quite new (built in 2019) and feels modern, clean, and well-maintained. Location Whilst not within walking distance to the beach, the slight distance from the busy Mirissa strip was actually a bonus for us. The hotel is nestled in a peaceful countryside setting, offering a relaxing escape from the crowds. Getting around was effortless, as the staff arranged Tuk Tuks and car rides to wherever we needed, including Mirissa Beach (1,000 LKR), Galle, and the airport. If you’re happy to take short rides to and from the beach, this place offers excellent value for money. Rooms & Facilities The rooms were spotless, spacious, and modern, featuring all the essentials, including a great air conditioner. The bathrooms were large and well-maintained, and we had plenty of space for our belongings. The pool was clean and inviting, with around five sun loungers available for relaxation. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh fruit, tea and coffee, eggs, and toast cooked to our preference, all included in the booking. Staff & Service What truly made our stay exceptional was the friendly and attentive staff. They went above and beyond to assist us, always with a smile. Whilst not all staff members spoke fluent English, this was never an issue, as they were always eager to help. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. Overall If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway just outside the main Mirissa area, Hotel Mirissa is an excellent choice. Excellet customer service by the staff and manager. They accomodated every single thing that we asked for, including fresh, hot milk for our baby. They also came to our room alate at night, to remove little lizards that were walking around the walls. They arranged and managed our laundry and taxi's for our entire stay. Staff are professional, friendly and always happy to help. In particular, Ashwin took great care of us and the manager Sundan was also very helpful, accomodating and welcoming.

There are a lot of flies around the property and it is really hard to eat breakfast without them swarming all over the food and potentially contaminating the food. There were also flies annd little lizards in the bedroom - I am personally very afraid of those things so did not enjoy ym day when I spotted them.

Everything great! Nice room and bathroom, the pool is clean and thus (compared to other hotels we have been) its perfect to have a quick dip in the morning or afternoon and spend some time. Very quiet spot, I never really noticed the train passing by (also only ~4 times a day). The staff is very friendly and open to help - especially the manager of the hotel :) The breakfast was good - you can choose from Sri Lankan (curry & hoppers) and continental breakfast (toast, egg dish, jam) and of course fruit and juice and coffee.

Just to mention the hotel is somewhat out of town, and sometimes its difficult to get a tuktuk with Pick me app but the staff always tried to help. As Mirissa has plenty nice dinner spots with atmosphere, we did not have dinner at the hotel as it also seemed a bit "pricey" compared to other local sites and hotels we have been before.

We had such a wonderful stay at Kiss Blossom! From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel at home with their warmth and kindness. The manager, Mr. Sundan, was incredibly helpful, arranging everything we needed—from tuk-tuks and scooter hire to transfers for our next stops. Ashwin did an amazing job looking after us, always with a big smile, and Uncle welcoming us at the gate made it feel like we were returning home every time. Our room was spacious and super comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day out. The location was ideal—peaceful and tucked away from the noise of Mirissa, yet just a short walk to the beach and great restaurants. It felt like the best of both worlds. As vegans, we really appreciated how well the team accommodated our diet. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were some of the best we had on our trip! And then there’s the pool—just amazing. We spent so much time there, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Kiss Blossom is such a special place, and we’re so grateful to the team for making our stay so memorable. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Amazing staff, tranquil location, super food, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in mirissa! We stayed for 11 nights, on our final night the hotel treated us to an amazing seafood platter! Thank you to all the staff, we loved every moment of staying with you! The wildlife is also fab, sat by the beautiful pool I was joined by monkeys and peacocks and every evening watched the giant fruit bats overhead.

Nothing, but if you want to be close to the manic centre of mirissa this isn't the hotel for you, luckily that was the last thing we wanted

The room was a good size clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. On request, We were upgraded room, and a single bed was added for free AJIDH is an amazing host. The most humble guy offers great, fair-priced tuk-tuk rides. The only reason I have rated this establishment a 10 is because of AJIDH. He is always there to welcome you back and is always ready to come and pick you up. he's always smiling, and He's an amazing chef. The man is an all-around great guy. During the couple of days I was there, he seemed like the biggest asset to this business. All the staff were very helpful. Also, the manager helped us book whale 🐋 watching swimming with large turtles and surfing all with very little notice and at a very far price The pool was lovely and walm its best past 6 pm as there isn't much shade. An eating area inside/fly nets would be my only critic.

The rooms were spacious and modern. They were also clean. There are only 5 rooms at the property, so it’s very peaceful. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. We opted for the Sri Lankan breakfast which was sumptuous.

It’s away from the town and beach. Though both are only a 10 min drive from the hotel. Also there were no hooks to hang your clothes/ towels in the bathroom. And there wasn’t a bin in the bathroom either. Other than that, I can’t find fault with the accommodation. It’s a great place for a break with a group of friends. But not ideal for the young party crowd.
