Incredible people working at the Villa, Suresh and his team were so hospitable and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. Beautiful Villa with stunning ocean views and pool overlooking the beach. The food was amazing and the Chef even allowed us to do a cooking class with him to learn how to make hoppers. Would highly recommend booking Three Gables Boutique Villa for a much more personal experience.

Nothing, everything was perfect about the villa

This was by far our favorite hotel experience ever. We travel a lot and love to stay in special places and Three Gables was perfect from every point of view possible. We found this place through a friend who saw we were traveling through Sri Lanka and reached out to make sure we would stay here before we left: it’s that memorable of a place that our friend really wanted to make sure we stay here. He was so right! The location was stunning; the hotel is on the beach, and we could see sunrise and sunset and have beautiful walks. The room was perfect, it had all the comforts we could wish for. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka by far and there was so much attention to detail. The best part of the hotel, and which made all the difference, was the impeccable service. If I could give this hotel 6 out of 5 stars in service, it would still be an understatement. Dinuka, our food & beverage manager, took excellent care of us and was always reachable. Suresh, the general manager, ensured we had a beautiful stay. Chef Nalaka, who created most of the fantastic food and was with whom we did a cooking class, was incredible. Chaturanga and the rest of the staff were always attentive and cared for us.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. It was positioned on the beach front with a view over a deserted gorgeous beach. There are only 4 rooms in the hotel which makes it quiet and special. The staff want to make you feel like it's your home and they certainly achieve that. All of the staff provide top tier service and Suresh (general manager) even organised a private dinner on the beach to celebrate a birthday. We are very appreciative of the whole team at the Three Gables for making our stay unforgettable.

Staying at The Three Gables was a truly exceptional experience. The property is very impressive. The staff’s attention to detail and level of personal service made a truly memorable and private stay, and was by large (unexpectedly) one of our greatest experiences in Sri Lanka. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and well thought in design. A big thanks to Dinuka, Suresh, and team, for the excellent food and hospitality. I could not recommend this stay more, especially over larger hotels we initially considered, where you will likely not get the same personal level of service.

Everything, it is the perfect boutique hotel with the best staff on a very nice quiet beach. The breakfast is absolutely top! And the food in general is simply great. It was the most unique hotel I have ever visited! Simply fantastic!

There is absolutely nothing to complain about! Really nothing! It's simply a dream there.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Three Gables. The setting is stunning - immaculate pool with views of the beach and sea. The beach is completely unspoiled and right there. There are only 8 guests staying at any one time so always the perfect number of sun loungers and the pool was pretty much always empty so it felt like your personal pool. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive - they catered for us for absolutely everything. They made breakfast available for us late when we came back from the whale watching. You must have the Sri Lankan breakfast! Dinner was especially set for us on the beach one night which was delicious, and we saw a baby turtle. We had to leave early on our last day for our flight and we were sent away with a packed breakfast. Everything was so thoughtful, from the turn down service, the bath running, the freshly made juices and the coconuts shaped as bunnies. We loved it!!

We recently stayed at Three Gables Boutique Villa for 5 days, and it was exceptional. The villa made one of our days extra special for Valentine's Day, but every day was filled with marvellous experiences. The Food The highlight for us was the daily food. A highlight, on the beach under candlelight we had the best fish I've ever tasted. It was fresh, caught that day, and cooked to perfection by the villa's chef. See the pictures attached. Learning to Cook We also enjoyed a private cooking class with the chef. It was a fantastic way to learn and have fun at the same time. Valentine's Day Special For Valentine's Day, the villa went above and beyond by decorating our room with rose petals, creating a romantic and enchanting atmosphere. This thoughtful gesture made the day special and showed the villa's dedication to creating memorable experiences for its guests. Feeling at Home The villa made us feel right at home. They arranged everything we needed, always securing us the best deals. They even organised a scooter for us, handling all the details, so we didn’t have to. Our Room and Comfort Our room was excellent, featuring very comfortable beds. We slept well, thanks to the peaceful environment and the clean, well-kept villa. Personalised Service The service was very personalised. We felt well taken care of at all times. A special thanks to Dinuka, the General Manager, and the Chef for making our stay memorable. Conclusion Our stay at Three Gables Boutique Villa was perfect. Everything was top-notch, from the amazing food and the comfortable room to the personalised service. We rate it 11/10 and look forward to returning.

This hotel is absolutely exceptional. Aside from being a beautiful open plan boutique residence with only 4 rooms, the staff and service are what take this breathtaking venue to an entirely different dimension. The 14 staff members are so kind, so helpful, polite and accommodating. They each made us feel special and well cared for during our stay. They are all outstanding but Dinuka and Bhanu were extraordinary. Thank you so much to the full team. The breakfast is a choice of Sri Lankan or hot continental and both were equally delicious and plentiful. You have the option to sit inside at the dining area, or outside on the beachfront which is really special. The room was spacious with both a ceiling fan and AC. They use beautiful Spa Ceylon products in the bathroom and the power shower is just gorgeous. The room is cleaned twice every day and they leave a little sweet treat on the bed in the evenings :) The hotel is on the beach and the sunbeds are very comfortable and all are new/modern. One slight issue is that you cannot see the ocean front when laying on the sunbeds since is it a gentle slope downwards to the water. Just a note for those travelling with family - but the area is vast and very quiet in a beautiful setting. This is genuinely an incredible hotel with lots of great Mirissa restaurants and bars on it's doorstep. There is also 24 hour security and the property is located behind a gate with space for parking your vehicle / your driver's vehicle which was a bonus for us. If you are looking at staying in Mirissa then please do book this hotel - you won't regret it.

Location, accommodations, staff - all were amazing! My daughter & I spent a couple of days here and would have gladly stayed longer. The property was fantastic, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The large open reception / dining area granted an amazing view of the ocean and was kept spotless throughout the day. The beach in front of the property was also groomed daily - that said, this was one of the cleanest beaches I've seen. The staff were super friendly and helpful, accommodating all of our requests. Breakfasts were fabulous and gave us the opportunity to experience a wide variety of Sri Lankan dishes. The menu for lunch & dinner offered mostly western options, but the staff would make anything we asked for - all very delicious. Oh! and I almost forgot, we had a surprise visit from a sea turtle laying its eggs the first night. The staff showed us the trail and explained that it was important to avoid the area until the conservationists could come to moved the eggs to a safe location.

We had the most amazing night at the Three Gables. We arrived fairly late after an afternoon Safari at Yala but the staff made us feel extremely welcome and provided us with a fantastic evening dinner next to the pool. The evening food was sensational and we had a beautiful breakfast on the beach the next morning. We had originally intended to move on to Galle following our morning whale watching but we were so impressed with Three Gables we altered our plans so we could spend more time there. Our night at the villa was the best night of our entire holiday and if we were to ever visit Sri Lanka again we would not hesitate to stay here. We both thought it may have been the best night of any holiday we have ever had! All of the staff were wonderful, especially Dinuka who gave outstanding service and was so friendly. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!
