I visited Giman Free Hotel with my partner, and it was an amazing experience. We came mainly for Ayurveda treatments, and it was the best we’ve ever had! The therapists were kind and skilled, and the treatments made us feel so relaxed and refreshed. The hotel is very peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff were friendly and always ready to help us. We also enjoyed the fresh and tasty food, especially the seafood. Our room was clean and comfortable, with great views. If you want a quiet and relaxing place with amazing Ayurveda treatments, Giman Free is perfect. We will definitely come back! 🌿💆‍♀️💙

We tryd a wellness treatment that we wanted to do for a long time, we had been to various places before in finding an Authentic treatment procedure to see the real benefits but we did not find one. After being to Suwa Piyasa at Giman Free Beach Resort we got to know the procedure, the medication, the food and the environment which is conducive to such treatment. It’s a unique and a purpose build facility that can create that kind of environment. It just that feeling of Relaxed atmosphere !! Local fisher folk provides fresh seafood to the Resort, great social responsibility by the Resort . Always fresh sea food is a possibility and Chef is capable of turning out great seafood dishes !! We made a decision to come back for a long stay Ayurveda session !!.

Excellent Location !! No disturbances on the beach at all !! Very seldom you find something like this for yourself only. Very peaceful and great place to stay !! The Sunny weather and sandy beach was a perfect location for our stay ! We prefer privacy for our stay and which we found at Giman Free Beach Resort. Great staff and free wi fi, great sea food straight from the local fisher folk from the daily catch !! We were told there is traditional Ayurveda treatment at the Resort by our friendly UK guest at the Resort but we did not have time to experience same. We will be back next year !!

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We booked a Deluxe Double Room with a sea view, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The room was spacious, clean, and the views were stunning. The peaceful, calm atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The food was another highlight! Every meal we had was delicious, but the seafood was especially exceptional—fresh and full of flavor. It’s clear that the kitchen takes great pride in its offerings. One of the best features of this eco-resort is the private beach. It’s a serene spot to enjoy the natural beauty of Sri Lanka without the crowds. The entire experience felt truly special, and we would highly recommend Giman Free to anyone looking for a luxurious yet eco-friendly retreat. It's hands down the best eco-resort in Sri Lanka! More than just a Resort. Purpose build to protect the nature and its surroundings. Perfect blend of local culture and great service by the local staff. Great seafood, fresh from the Ocean cooked to your taste. Specious rooms and comfortable beds and other facilities with large washrooms. Lots of nature. Good Holiday Ideal for a getaway from busy life. Locations is a perfect one to relax and have some time for yourself. The facility is purpose built one, to blend well with its location and the local culture. Very good sea food mainly sourced from the local fisherfolk and its fresh made to your taste. Beachfront location down a bumpy track. The sea seemed safe to swim and snorkel in although it was quite choppy when we were there so visibility was poor. The pool is a great alternative to the sea, a reasonably size with plenty of loungers. The rooms were big and well equipped with kettle, tea and creamer, but no coffee, and a fridge. The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff went out of their way to provide food my husband could eat because of dietary issues.

I had a beer with dinner and then they ran out which was disappointing. The hotel is miles from anywhere so not easy to pop out and get some more. So, if you think you’ll want a few beers bring it with you and put it in the fridge.

The quality and variety of the meals were fantastic, and we received quite large portions throughout our stay. Considering this, the quiet atmosphere, and the excellent location, the prices were surprisingly economical, offering excellent value for what you get. The overall environment of the hotel is very serene and calming, making it an ideal choice if you're looking to unwind without the noise and chaos you sometimes find at other resorts.

Ideal Family getaway Fun filled getaway , with long beach stretch with no disturbances on the Beach. Very peaceful and quite location with nature. Both, sun rise and sun set can be witnessed from the same Beach !! may be seasonal .. Very helpful staff and good food , kids meals can be arranged with kitchen. Lovely crab dishes, we enjoyed them Good for money spent

Wonderful time !! Unforgettable stay at Giman Free Beach Resort. Peace and privacy on the beach, no disturbance at all. We both had a wonderful time at the Beach, with shallow water for a perfect sea bath throughout the day. Food offered was just to our liking and the sea food was special. The staff is ever accommodative and supportive. Lots of trees around you and nature all over with inhouse naturalist to show and explain the nature, nature trails and History. Great place to stay for an extended stay !!
