Arriving at the property and being welcomed by the phenomenal view over the expansive rice paddies from the shaded balcony is so rejuvenating! I wish I could have stayed another night. I really enjoyed the vibe, the clean and new bedroom/bathroom, the tea making facilities and the food that was prepared for me was delicious! Highly recommend.

Peaceful location, clean accomadation with free drinking water available for tea making. Also superb helpful host who helped arrange safari and provide tasty dinner.

A very minor point- The bottom bedsheet was a bit small and kept coming untucked during the night.

Beautiful quiet location , Big rooms, Friendly welcome , the host was the most genuine,accommodating, humble, friendly soul we met on our travels , she is what makes the place stand out, Good AC plentiful hot water. She organised us a great driver for the safari and travel from our previous destination and on to our next stay efficiently and cost effectively

Mosquito nets are needed for the beds and a burner/ repellent is required to use the balcony , the paddy field had recently been cut when we visited so maybe this made the mosquitoes worse, no tv's as advertised for my teenage son in the room ( he brought his fire stick so he could watch the cricket)

The host is amazing! Such a nice lady! She took care of everything, booked the safari and taxi, even prepared us a delicious breakfast to go (as the safari trip started really early). The view from our balcony was splendid! The infinite rice fields with some palm trees… just great! Also at night you can hear the frogs singing in the distance which is so calming and makes you fall asleep in a minute. The lady prepared us very delicious meals, especially the egg hoppers and mango tasted devine!

We would recommend the host to change the towels, the red ones are not well absorbing and they leave the fluffy particles on you.

Milshani is a host, who takes care for her guests. She organized all safaris for me in advance and each was worth the money. If it was leopards in Yala, elephants in Udawalawe or birds and crocodiles in Bundala, nature lovers will enjoy. The Sri Lankan food was exceptional, Milshani and her mother even gave me cooking lesson. The location of the homestay is away from the noise in Tissamaharama and I loved overlooking the rice fields from the veranda. Super homestay, super hosts. Would come again.

- Owners incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make my time in SL enjoyable. In the lead up to my stay, they gave me advice on which buses to catch and even met me at the bus terminal to give me a lift home on arrival. When I was leaving, they also gave me a lift to the bus stop and waited with me for the bus to come, making sure the driver knew where I had to get off. - Room very spacious, clean and comfortable with a hot shower and good AC - Good location, a short walk to Tissa town - Good meals provided at reasonable prices - Sensational views across the rice fields - Nice and peaceful, with a chilled vibe

This was our favourite place to stay in a month of travel in Sri Lanka. The husband and wife team were very kind and looked after us like family. The room was immaculately clean, as was the bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning and fridge worked very well and we were very comfortable. The best part of the room is the balcony in front of the room overlooking the Rice fields directly behind the hotel. A very nice place to relax. They organised a safari for us in Yala and it was excellent and we managed to see multiple Leopards. They made us breakfast to take with us as it was an early start which was great. We also had breakfast at the accommodation and two dinners that were delicious. The gentleman that runs the accommodation is fluent in Korean, English and Arabic which was impressive.I highly recommend this accommodation and will return.

Lovely clean and spacious room with AC and great view of the rice paddies. I recommend booking the safari with them too. Milshani will pack you breakfast and the driver was great. I ate lunch and dinner at the hotel too. Both were delicious, prepared by Milshani and her sweet family! They were very helpful. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for a place to stay to visit Yala, THIS IS THE PLACE! Everything was perfect - from the great location overlooking the rice fields, just a short walk from the main road, offering peace and quiet. The hospitality and generosity were unparalleled! They arranged a great safari for me at a cheaper price than what can be found online and I got to see a leopard! The home-cooked dinner and breakfast were better than most restaurants! The owner even drove me to the bus stop nearby! I wish I could have stayed longer as this was truly a breath of fresh air!

The owner was very friendly and attentive. We were a little sick and she did her best to help us. She brought us tea, fresh juice, medicines, thermometer. She also cooked for us chicken with rise with an additional charge (it was delicious). She replied our WhatsApp messages at once. The property and our room room we stayed has a huge balcony with views of rise fields and the forest and it was very very cleaned. I was walking barefoot even outside!!
