Stayed here for 3 nights and we all loved the pool that was very nice and clean placed in the center yard of the hotel. Rooms were big spacious and clean but with no view and they could need a bit of love and needed a bit refreshment. Highlight was the staff they all did their outmost to make thinks comftable and a success for all of us throughout our stay.

Lower end of pool needs a review had some sharp edges that kids were scratching their feed on Location a bit boring with very few restaurants around but with easy short 30-35 min drive to Yala entrance

We stayed in this hotel just for the safari in Yala. The location is great for that and the staff was very kind to have a very nice breakfast prepared for takeaway as we needed to leave at 5am. Overall the staff is very nice and the services is good

They don’t clean your room unless you ask for it. The rooms look nicer in the pictures

Excellent hotel. Stayed 2 nights for a safari at Yala. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Excellent breakfast. Good sized swimming pool which was gradiated so it was much better for the kids (unlike other hotel pools we've swum in here). Generous sized room that was clean and comfortable. Beautiful and well cared-for hotel grounds that were very pleasant for relaxing in, and no constant music playing in the background like many hotels have, which was great and made it super peaceful! Overall, this was an extremely relaxing stay and amazing value for money. We loved our stay here!

Stayed 23rd Feb 2024 Another good one night stay on our tour of central Sri Lanka. Peacock Reach was ideally situated for our booked trips to Yala and Bundala National Parks. Rooms were spacious and good shower facilities but weird lighting. Click the light switch multiple times for different colours. We ate dinner here which was very good and had a breakfast package for our 5am. trip to Bundala. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We did not have the chance to use the pool but it did look very inviting and was being used by other guests.

Openess of the downstairs area where you could meet up. The pool was so refreshing after the safari. Personable approachable manager/receptionist. Great breakfast. All staff were enthusiastic to help out. All seem well trained. Staff organized safari truck and driver for onward travel.

Although there were several styles of electrical sockets, many of them were very sloppy and had to be checked to make sure you could charge devices. Room bit jammed in with 2 beds and no bedside table by the bed.

Our breakfast was excellent. The pool was a highlight. This was one of the last places we stayed in Sri Lanka and it was really nice to have a big pool on the warm days. Our room was very comfortable. The common areas between the rooms were excellent for our group to meet and play games.

Our room did not have a fridge which would have been handy.

Very nice hotel complex, warm swimming pool, tasty breakfast, comfortable, large room. Great price to quality ratio. I highly recommend it.

Boutique property, not crowded. Clean pool and availability of continental food.

A bit of walk from main city, although close to mountain entrance. If you want to try out local food options, it’s rather limited or non- existent
