everything was perfect ! Good value for money ! The staff was very professional and friendly. I requested a room on the ground floor for my parents and they accommodated it without hesitation. We stayed two days on half board basis and the buffet meals were beyond expectation - good variety of items and flavourful. The dining room staff was extra friendly and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Mr Norman - GM, Mr Dammika - F&B Manager who went the extra mile to provide information regarding arrangements of Katharagama Devalaya trip, the gentleman who helped us get a room on the ground floor and the lovely gentlemen who took care of our table as the steward. The rooms were very clean, well organized, spacious and comfortable. The chalets are surrounded by lotus ponds which are quite scenic and the garden is very well maintained. Such a lovely place for a getaway and a hidden gem! We will definitely visit Chaarya again!

We had a fantastic stay at Chaarya Resort! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The food was excellent, and we truly enjoyed every meal. What impressed us the most was the exceptional service. We had booked a safari trip at 5 AM and informed the reception that we would miss breakfast. To our delight, they prepared a breakfast box for us with multiple options, including fresh fruits, croissants, and juice. This thoughtful gesture made our experience even more special. The only suggestion I have is to seal the small gaps between doors and windows, as we noticed a cockroach entered through one of them. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely return to this wonderful resort!

The resort itself is lovely. Some staff are friendly. The amenities were great. The spa was good and good value for money.

The food is not good. There was clear disparity with how people of different races were being treated by some of the staff. This wasn’t nice and everyone staying at the hotel should be treated the same. This was evident because of the difference in how me and a friend were treated (one being white and the other Asian).

- In the room: thoughtful design, high-quality furniture, very high ceiling. - The area is very clean and there are no dogs. - The friendly personal responded quickly to our requests. - Nice little things like a welcome drink and wet warm towels upon arrival, no-need-WiFi-password by reception, no need to ask for a towel by the pool, sterilized glasses in the room, etc.

We have’t noticed any significant flaws or problems. Nice hotel. I'm not going to pick on the little things because of the difference in mentality. I saw that the staff was really trying to do their best.

One of the best hotels we stayed in while we were in Sri Lanka. The rooms were great, very clean and the service excellent. We also really enjoyed the pool area. The food had a great variety and was good.

The hotel is in Tissamaharama but not super central. However, safaris usually pick you up at the hotel and it was also easy to get a Tuk Tuk. For some reason, room service always left all the lights and the air condition on which seemed like a waste of energy to us. But all in all, it is a great place!

We stayed 1 night in Chaarya Resort and had a nice stay. It is a lovely and modern resort with many rooms. The room was large and had everything we needed. Nice gym, pool table and a bar showing sport events. Prepared a breakfast bag for our early morning safari.

As a couple who wanted to relax it was a bit noisy because there was many families staying there and the pool was full of kids. Dinner buffet was alright, expected a bit better food.

Our stay in this hotel was great. Room was big enough and very clean. They have an amazing swimming pool with enough number of sunbeds. It is a very good option for all type of travelers including friends, couples and families.

We stayed half-board with dinner included; although food options were very satisfactory, they should include at least soft drinks with the half-board package like any other hotel does. On a different note, check-in and check-out were not very smooth, probably they need more stuff during the peak hours.

Very nice small resort style hotel conveniently located next to Yala park. There were not a lot of people, so it felt private and serene. The food was great, especially dinner buffet had variety of Western and Sri lankan food. Staff was attentive and the pool was nice.

Hotel can use some maintenance, lounge chairs next to the pool need to be replaced.
