The staff was always very serviceminded. They helped us with transport around in Weligama, medicine for the kids, communication with travel agency etc. The breakfast and meals was great, almost too much food:) They were flexible when we needed to change timing of meals due to the kids bed time, very nice! The rooms were perfectly cleaned every day. The rooms were bigger than expected, great beds, bathroom and view of pool and beach. Location could not be better; Surf straight outside the hotel, shops and restaurants nearby. At the same time quiet and peaceful. A little lawn for soccer and sandy area for building sand castles. The whole family loved Parangi

Everything was perfect

The pool was lovely and everything overlooked the beach just metres from the hotel. Very attentive staff. The 2 balcony deck chairs and table were great. The bed was slightly softer than every other very firm bed in Sri Lanka we had experienced. Spacious room with good shower, towels and aryuvedic soap and hand cream, good working fridge with sterile ice in the freezer for your drinks (yay!). Nice outdoor shower to use between the beach, pool or hotel. Icecream (cinnamon) served with the grilled pineapple was AMAZING. Very close to dozens of surf schools you can to book for an hour for LKR (ave) 5000 (AUD ~ $25) the one closest Moody Moon also let you keep the surfboard for extra 30 minutes to practice by yourself after the lesson. The hotel was helpful letting us store luggage whilst we shopped/ had lunch before moving to next place and even booked us a taxi. Water was (thankfully) unlimited and sterile but not in plastic bottles.

Sometimes there were no pool towels. Like everywhere in Sri Lanka, the poolside lounges are hard and uncomfortable, you just can't "lounge" on them. Duff-duff music from nearby went into the night (not too bad but bring earplugs if a light sleeper).

Parangi Weligama Bay is a fabulous boutique hotel in the heart of Weligama Bay, with more of a guesthouse feel to it. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had the sea view family room and it was perfect for those travelling with young children. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Weligama and would definitely go back again.

Fantastic small property, with lovely little pool right on the beach. The food is really good. The rooms are very clean.. The staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful. They even went tonthe effort of posting some bits back to the UK for us. Would definatly recommend. If you're looking for surf lessons, the guys straight out the front are great

The hotel is facing the sea, amazing view, super comfortable. The rooms for families are big and clean. The breakfast is abundant. The staff is very kind, always available. We enjoyed so much our stay that we prolonged it. Thank you to the staff for being so sweet !!!! Truly recommended. BTW, we like high level accommodations 😁

The WiFi is a bit slow

It was basically like a boutique hotel. Did not have to rush for anything. So relaxing.. Staff too were attentive to all the guests. Very accommodating. Food was excellent. Best thing was it was quiet no noise no disturbances. I would definitely reccommend this place to anyone who wants me time . Away from chaos.😊

Couldnt think of any short comings

The property is perfectly located in the beach and close to restaurants. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.

Perhaps the noise outside the room related to some water tank apparently and if they could provide a better coffee, it would be fantastic.

Perfact!! Hotel manager, Lakmal, and the rest of the team, were doing everything and beyond to make our staying pleasant, and to for us to enjoy our vacation. Small hotel with a "one on one" service. Would definitely go back on our next trip to Sri lanka!

Beautiful hotel, with a nice location - just outside the city center and on the beach. Very friendly staff, and clean rooms with a/c. We really enjoyed our stay very much in Parangi Weligama Bay - Thema Collection.

You might hear some loud music from the nearby hotel during the weekend.
