Where do I begin? I am a motorcyclist and I have been in hundreds of hotels and B&B, but this has been far by the best. Let me explain. I entered Ekegarden and was later introduced to Tina, the owner. She knocked on my door and walked in with a glass of milk and a Swedish pastry. Who does that! She asked me if I had lunch and offered to drive me to the local Golf course, which I agreed to. "I will pick you up in an hour". Left on my own, I had a wonderful pasta dish with salmon and shrimp. Tina was right. The late lunch was wonderful. Afterwards, she picked me up and drove me back to the Ekegarden. Tina's B&B have wonderful guests and when I had breakfast I met a kind Scot by the name of Allen. We traded history and stories. This is where you meet like minded people. Tina has a wonderful B&B, and she was an incredible host. Love you Tina. Great stay and I would recommend this place to anyone. My best stay in 40,000 kms of motorcyle travel. Bless you Tina! You can see that the owners put much effort and love for details to create a cozy and comfy space. Loving it, something real special. The contact with the owners was very friendly. If you like to spend a quiet evening in the woods, very close to Landvetter airport, this is the place to go to.

The road to the cabin is quite bumpy through the forrest and the TV did not work.

We chose this b&b because of its proximity to the airport and only for one night. But we absolutely loved it. We took an Uber from the airport and saved a lot of money (thank you for the advice, Thina). We could check in earlier and got the green room downstairs. The room was very spacious, full of light and the bed was very comfortable. The shared bathroom was located just opposite our room. The whole house is just lovely, surrounded by a forest, very quiet. We had great sleep there. In the morning, we met Thina who is a very nice and friendly person. She brought fresh baked buns and the dough for waffles. So we made us waffles and a cup of tea and enjoyed the breakfast outside at the beautiful veranda. And we also met other guests and spend some time chatting with them about their travels. I recommend this place to everyone!

I really couldn't fault, Thina's home stay. She was kind and generous. She accommodated my needs, perfectly. After one night Thina willingly transported me to the airport for a 4am flight. I have written a review on Google reviews as well.

The place was amazing, it was in the middle of nowhere (an advantage for us) which made it super quiet and peaceful. I loved the colour themed rooms. They gave a different character to the property and the common areas where great as well. The place was spotless clean and the breakfast had a wide range for all tastes and food concerns. Also, even if we had no food restrictions, I appreciated how thoughtfull the owner was and asked us to provide any food restrictions so that she could make sure she could provide enough breakfast options for us.

Nothing every thing i like

This is a little treasure in the Swedish countryside. Everything I could have possibly needed (whilst travelling very light) was provided! Owners were instantly responsive and accommodating when messaged and all I can say is that if I could give 20/10 I would! I’m not sure they could provide more especially at such a reasonable cost. Guests with criticism leading to a lowers rating should read the description more carefully and chose elsewhere? it’s exactly as described and of a very high standard in all areas. Well done guys, we loved your guesthouse and we will be back! Thank you, Bev and family x

The host made the experience very personal and special. She was so helpful and kind. She made sure I was comfortable and went above and beyond expectations. There was a delicious homemade cake ready for me upon arrival and the self serve breakfast was full of options. I thank you for this very special stay!

Villa Elegården was lovely, and I wish we were able to spend more time there. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, the garden and porch were inviting and we loved every aspect of our stay. We also enjoyed our visit with Tina who was very gracious and brought us coffee and cake. I can't think of a better ending to our visit to Sweden.

We got all the important information before the check in date, the owner was really helpful and provided more details on how to get to their villa. This place has it’s own charm and all the rooms have its own vibe. It was clean and had all the amenities needed.

This place is located outside the city but we were aware of this - so if you are looking for a peaceful place and you don’t mind its remote location, then it’s a great place for your stay.
