Very beautiful grounds and view and elegant environment. It’s a pleasure to enjoy a meal in the grand dining room, overlooking the garden and lake. There’s are very comfortable and cozy big sitting areas, pool Billard and games in the main area of the buildings. Breakfast buffet was good and plenty of choice. There’s SUP and kayaks to use and a bathing place .

Would be nice to have access to SUP with key, even if not staying in same building, to be able to go for an excursion early in the morning . Hot water kettle and tea/ coffee in the room would be convenient.

There are not enough words to describe the joy we had during these days. Arriving at the premises is already an amazing first contact. Entering the main building, even with the bad weather on day of arrival, but the very very very friendly staff and the view over the lake made the day sunny anyhow, despite nature giving us bad weather. The rooms are great. Every building has its own lounge, with games for all, with a pool table. Here you could relax and eat and drink. But the restaurant is good as well. With a lunch buffet. Fantastic FANTASTIC breakfast. And everytime again, with this amazing view!!! The bathroom looks simple, but the showever is the best we have every occured. I cry from joy and happiness while writing this, and sadness we will leave within an hour. Yes we cleared the room, but still stay here enjoying the, did I mention this before the view, the friendly staff the available food and drinks. It is an experience we will never forget. We will talk about this event with our (grand)children. And we will come back for sure. Thank you Aspenäs Herrgård for giving us this against such a reasonable price. The service you provided us is unmatched. I stop typing now. But we love you.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, beside a lake. The main building houses the restaurant and bar. The restaurant was not open on Sunday, so we had dinner in Lerum at a nice restaurant renovated from a train station. The bar was good, and provided open faced sandwiches for those who did not want to go into town. There was a nice outdoor patio area facing the lake. The rooms were small but functional, with limited amenities. Coffee and water (hot/cold/sparkling) were available in the communal areas of each building, but the staff neglected to tell us. I found them by exploring the building I was located in. The breakfast buffet was excellent. There was lots of parking on the property.

The people I was travelling with were in a different building than me. The rooms, since so small, did not provide a small fridge or iron/ ironing board. It was a shame that the restaurant was not open on Sunday for dinner, but we found food in Lerum. I tried the sauna but found it was not hot enough and did not have upper level benches found in a traditional sauna.

The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. It was amusing to find that the room was not in the house shown in the listing but in an exterior wooden construction that looks like it was built for students! No complaints as the price was good and the staff were friendly and helpful but the accommodation is more like a cabin on a ferry than what you might expect from looking at the listing here 😊

Lovely views, very relaxing and the sauna is amazing. The location is very convenient and a really nice drive across to get there. The best thing is the staff, especially Veronica she has a great smile and very welcoming and helpful.

We were in a building a short walk away from the main hotel building with rooms reminiscent of university dormitories. Small and functional.

we loved the location directly at the lake. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of options and good coffee. Staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, room was spacious with two TVs- lovely interior.

We would have wished for some sun beds, there were only chairs on the terrace to spend some time outside. Bathrooms are a bit old and could use a makeover as there is mould here and there and overall just not spotlessly clean. in general, rooms were ok but not perfectly clean with some stains on tables etc. Not Hotel standard but still very comfortable.

Bit far from city centre, as we were driving, it was easy.

Nice place and location

Breakfast at the weekend started to late, About 75% of the guests was linked to a Handball cup in Alingsås (which is every year at the same weekend) and many had to depart from the hotel to join matches with out getting breakfast. If the hotel could adapt to these kind of invents we would have giving it full rates on all. No we hesitate to come back instead.
