Excellent property and very modern, with lots to do!

When we asked the reception about car parking they told us to download the app. We did and paid for 24 hours car parking. The next morning when we left we at been given two tickets, one at 7am and one at 9am. When we contacted reception they asked why didn’t we do it through them when we checked in. This was never an option when we checked in. They told us that they couldn’t help and to contact the app and that it was a regular problem. We contacted the app and they said that they couldn’t help as they didn’t issue the ticket. Although we made the payment for parking we have been issued a fine that amounts to almost as much as the hotel stay. We have been let down by lazy service at check in, and unhelpful service at check out, and a system that is essential stealing from customers.

Staff was somewhat friendly. Some of them did not seem very professional. I wasn't attended at the bar area but had to walk up to the bar keeper to order something. At the reception, they wouldn't explain what the hotel has to offer although it is incredibly packed with cool stuff.

Liked the overall feeling, interior and breakfast. Great choice and buzz in the morning.

SPA has just 2 saunas and 2 pools. A small shower head in the wet sauna would be great to have the possibility to clean the sweat of the previous person who was sitting before me.

Great building, architecture, design style 10/10 Very clean and great ambience. The dark room was brilliant, it didn’t have a window but boy was it stunning. It’s a bit too dark to do makeup in and could do with more mirrors but I was wowed by the bathroom, (black and gold) and the furniture was stunning. Spa was brilliant. Wow that fire room was just the most peaceful thing. I would go back to Jacyz!

Too crowded, it was non stop, people checking in and foyer was constantly heaving. That was a bit too much especially as reception is far too small to accommodate all these people at the same time. A bit of a crazy start. Breakfast was the same, heaving. Spa period being 2 hours is too little to enjoy fully. You can’t relax fully knowing you have to leave shortly. It got really busy but 3/4 hours would be better to enjoy the faculties and actually have a nap by the fireplace. Check out being 10am was quite insane, if I didn’t have an early flight, it would have been a big problem. Usually checkout is 12. 10 is way too early.

The hotel decor is no doubt, really aesthetically pleasing and the beds were super soft and comfy, I can't comment on the views because we opted for a no window room. The spa facilities were also very chic and comforting.

The hotel is located a little bit of a walk from the centre and about 10 mins to the nearest tram. As the hotel is 5 star, I would expect there to be a phone in the room to contact reception. Unfortunately my room had a plug socket that didnt work on the bedside and noisy air-conditioning which I couldn't bring to staffs attention easily. I would also expect the spa facilities to be included if you are staying in the hotel for at least a few hours, unfortunately this required additional payment.

I loved the spa and the property was just wonderful, value for money

Food, I’d say I wasn’t pleased it wasn’t made In consideration for your English visitors and I wasn’t pre-informed the dinner wasn’t part of the package as I had received mails requesting I booked, I assumed it was part of the package, when informed that was not the case I was fine with it till the food was terrible and such a let down then I felt I had wasted my money I literally paid over a 110pounds to starve, I was hungry all night, very displeased, if not part of the package don’t send mails to people to book the restaurant feels like a trap afterwards

Lovely hotel cool vibe, rooms very well designed and laid out. Our room ( double) was very small we had to squeeze past the wall mounted TV to get to the bathroom ! lots of bar games/ activities such as table tennis, golf and pool ! Roof top pool bar area very cool. Location was OK, a bit of a walk to the main sights but taxi available.

Breakfast ok, no staff met or greeted us. Rather awkward breakfast buffet set up, we had to dodge other guests with breakfasts in hand as food presented/ available in various locations in the breakfast area. The lifts only work with room key card, great idea and a good security meaure, however, several people " jumped" into our lift with us that may not have been guests ?

Me and my girlfriend celebrated our anniversary & Valentine and to add, you can buy roses downstairs, and they were brought up to the room! The facilities are 10/10,. The spa and chill rooms are so relaxing. We even got to enjoy the outside pool, and then we went to the go go gaga foodie days, the food was so beautifully cooked. The tempura shrimp were out of this world, the best I’ve had!! Overall, the look and especially the staff make this hotel one of the best hotels we have stayed in.

Breakfast can be a bit chaotic if you don’t go early

I had a fantastic stay at Jacy’z Hotel. The place was incredibly clean, and the bed was super comfortable—perfect for a good night’s rest. The entire hotel was beautifully designed with stunning scenery all around, making it a visual treat. One of the highlights was the location—there were plenty of activities and attractions within walking distance, which made exploring the area really convenient and enjoyable. A special shout-out to bartender Tim, who truly elevated the experience with his friendly service and great drinks. He made us feel welcome and added a personal touch to our stay. Highly recommend Jacy’z for anyone looking for comfort, style, and a lively location.

Wow wow wow - a truly exceptional hotel. I booked the break to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday and I don’t think i could have booked a more perfect place.The minute we arrived it felt truly special and the outstsbding and attentive customer service from all staff at every level, added to this. The spa was stunning, with the most amazing views, and great facilities. We had a JQ room which I would highly recommend, the decor was stunning. For two evenings we had our dinner at the hotel’s Gogogaga sky bar, which serves Asian cuisine. Truly exceptional food! Breakfast at Archie’s, was great too with a wide selection of food available.. The outdoor pool is a little gem, which we didn’t expect to be open. Thankfully the weather allowed us to enjoy this great sun terrace. Gothenburg centre is only a twenty minute walk and I would highly recommended a visit, with a great variety of shops, bars, restaurants, etc However, It is very tempting just to stay at the hotel. Would absolutely recommend the hotel. Can’t wait to return.
