The Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Gothenburg is ideally situated, just across from the Central Station and airport bus terminus, with most tram lines stopping at the lovely square outside the hotel. We had a lot to do in the city and the Radisson Blu was the perfect hub. The architecture and decor of the hotel is bold and thoughtful with lots of contemporary character. Our room was spacious and restful with interesting decor. The bathroom was good with instant hot water for the shower. I liked the magnifying illuminated make-up/shaving mirror. Breakfast was great, lots of good quality choice, except for the coffee, which always tastes bitter and stewed from the type of machines used for dispensing various coffee styles. We ate at the bar and bistro one evening and the food was very good. Another evening we ate in Noot, to try more Scandinavian cuisine and, again, the food was good with imaginative combinations of flavour.

Everything! I travel a lot for work and this is easily one of my favourite hotels. From the super friendly and helpful reception staff, to the location, access to the club lounge is worth investing in (especially if you're travelling alone). The hotel balances modern and 'cool' with sophisticated and stylish perfectly. I'll 100% be back!

If I was to be really picky the carpet and the doorways etc in the common areas eg hallways will soon be in need of renovation. Often hotels are glitzy in the common areas but the rooms are tired, however the Radisson is for the most part glitzy in the right places (eg rooms, club lounge, restaurants seating areas)

1. Great location. We came in from Norway and just walked out of the station across the road to the lobby. 2. The bed was very comfortable. 3. The Hot Chocolate they provided was very tasty. 4. Breakfast spread was huge. It also gets crowded, so plan accordingly. 5. The check-in staff was helpful and friendly 6. The gym is well equipped. It helps that it has 24-hour access. It has all the equipment and also a lot of trainers who are around. 7. All transport around the city is easily accessible from outside the hotel. It's the main junction stop in Gothenburg.

We got a room facing inside. As a result, there's no daylight in the rooms. There is no privacy. We had to keep the curtains drawn all the time. It was also noisy with the restaurant chatter echoing inside the property.

The Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Göteborg was beyond excellent! Its central location was perfect for enjoying the city and for taking the public transit and trains wherever we needed to go. ALL of the staff couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating! The room was plenty big, larger than other hotels we considered in the city with a table and couch and comfortable chair and side table as well. While the bed seemed soft at first it was actually firm and very comfortable. Then there was the breakfast buffet; lots of offerings accommodating all lifestyles, guests from Europe, US, etc.

The food was not good, the property had a private function and didn’t tell us and we had to do a pub dinner not restaurant dinner. The breakfast is average as they won’t make any eggs except boiled and scrambled. The executive club staff do not assist with drinks. There were no cocktails and no Heineken although they served it, very lazy young staff. The older gentleman helped us and went out of his way in executive lounge. Generally a very poor food section in the hotel. The spa you pay yo use as an executive member, we should have access to the sauna and pool as part of the stay.

- Spacious, modern, clean rooms. - Impressive breakfast; very good selection of food and drinks, including healthy options. - Fast and stable wi fi. - Large bathroom. - Superb location. - Very quiet and efficient air con system. - Had a really lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant (Atrium) - highly recommended.

- A bit difficult to operate air con system (change temperature). - Not the best sound insulation between rooms and between room and corridor. - My room key card was deactivated at 10 AM when check out was at 11 AM, so had to go to the reception to get a new room key card.

The hotel offers a high level of comfort and service. ✔ Very comfortable room, with an ultra-cozy bed that guarantees a restful sleep. ✔ Impeccably clean and a spacious bathroom, adding to the overall comfort. ✔ Professional and efficient service, with attentive and courteous staff. ✔ Spacious and welcoming public areas, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Overall, a great experience. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel!

An excellent buffet breakfast and thank you for catering so well for my coeliac gluten-free requirements. the choice of food at breakfast was very good. Nice to see Radi every morning for the kids who were having breakfast! Ver helpful concierge - thanks for the tip on where to go in the city and for storing our luggage on early arrival and on our last day after check out. A very nice superior room with tea and coffee facilities which we used and a mini bar (which we did not use).The room was clean and comfortable. Your staff of check-in/out are all very pleasant and helpful. Thank you.

We should mention that the floor of the dining room (breakfast time) was not as clean as we think it should have been. This is partly the fault of some diners who have carelessly dropped food items on the floor and not cleared it up but perhaps a thorough clean every morning before the start fo breakfast might be a good idea.

The hotel was much closer to the transport hub than expected which was perfect for us arriving on the airport bus. We had a warm welcome at the hotel and received a room upgrade (it is our 30th wedding anniversary) which proves that this hotel does read the comments on the Booking.com form! The room as a great size overlooking the station square, and had tea/coffee/minibar. The bathroom had excellent toiletries shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash and moisturising lotion. I love this when travelling hand luggage only. We ate and drank in the hotel bar Friday night at their 'After Work' evening which was great fun. The breakfast buffet although busy catered for every taste and the coffee from the machine was good. We left our bags there on the last day to collect before our departure later. We had such a great visit and the central location of this hotel made taking the bus and tram very easy. We went on the Ocean Bus tour while we were there and visited World of Volvo. Would recommend both.

Hotel was lovely and central. Great location for exploring. I requested a non-atrium room so we could have some daylight during a long weekend stay as we were coming for my boyfriend's birthday (which the receptionist mentioned and was a nice touch since she also asked what our plans were for his trip) and we got a non-atrium room. The view isn't the best, but it had natural light and was a great size, with a nice size comfy bed, comfy space to sit, and closet space. Staff all pleasant. Didn't try the food, but the bar is a nice area to sit and unwind in.

The cleaning team chapped our door at 8.30am the day after our arrival to ask if we were leaving. The room was then not cleaned again even though the cleaning team were a few doors down when we left on 2 of the days. It wasn't a major deal, we just assumed that it would be cleaned at some point. I don't know if we have to specifically ask. It was clean when we arrived which was the main thing.
