Location is A1. Breakfast is outstanding. Comfort (room size, quality of beds, linen) excellent. Staff, including concierge, super friendly and helpful.

Information about the gym and spa is scant and opaque. In fact, the gym is well equipped, but the equipment is squeezed into a cramped basement room with no circulation space between machines. That said, there are most machines that one would want. In terms of spa, it is not at all clear what you are paying for (access is payable), and the fee is high and time-bound, which was disappointing. The description is brief and generic ("pools"). I had thought that there was a free to use swimming pool, but there is not.

There was nothing we didn’t like here . Our room was so clean and comfortable and had a great bathroom . The location was also perfect for our needs with easy walking distances and public transport close by. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet , appreciating the choice and quality but also being able to try local dishes . Staff receptionists , concierge, breakfast staff and the room attendants , were all very friendly , helpful and welcoming which is impressive in such a large hotel . We will definitely stay here when we visit Gothenburg again . It really helped make our trip

There was nothing to dislike

The Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Gothenburg is ideally situated, just across from the Central Station and airport bus terminus, with most tram lines stopping at the lovely square outside the hotel. We had a lot to do in the city and the Radisson Blu was the perfect hub. The architecture and decor of the hotel is bold and thoughtful with lots of contemporary character. Our room was spacious and restful with interesting decor. The bathroom was good with instant hot water for the shower. I liked the magnifying illuminated make-up/shaving mirror. Breakfast was great, lots of good quality choice, except for the coffee, which always tastes bitter and stewed from the type of machines used for dispensing various coffee styles. We ate at the bar and bistro one evening and the food was very good. Another evening we ate in Noot, to try more Scandinavian cuisine and, again, the food was good with imaginative combinations of flavour.

I love the pink facade and the layout. The staff is so friendly and the rooms are great. My mother and I had a ball. Best location and very quiet- no traffic noise . My favourite hotel in Gothenburg for sure!! It helps that I met my husband there 23 years ago and that I did some of my pastry chef training in the hotel Kitchen 35 years ago and that the fabulous lady who trained me in the desert kitchen owns a fantastic cafe/ pasty / bakery at the back corner of the hotel. They sell the BEST Cinnamon buns and Cardamom buns and the coffee made from the friendly staff made it such a beautiful experience. I am definitely coming back again because both my mother and I just love the whole experience. Thank you Radisson Blu for making this hotel part of my life in so many ways 💕

The hotel is situated right where we wanted, close to most areas we wanted to visit. Staff, all the staff we engaged with were amazing, bar staff, servers, checking in desk - all amazing. I would like to highlight one particular staff member - Michael - he really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing, we were heading to the wrong park and he took time to ensure we see the amazing botanical garden, haga area etc. His banter and charm really made our weekend. Thank you from the crazy 4 ladies.. The beds - ok, they were out of this world, we didn't want to leave or get to, we all had amazing sleeps. Food. The fish and chips from the bar area, lovely, fresh, and service from the bar team, were exceptional. Nothing was a task they all seemed to enjoy their work and making people's stay delightful. Breakfast - well there is so much choice and excellent quality, even baked beans! Sausages are not the usual English breakfast Sausage but they never are away from home.. There is fruit, yogurts, fresh breads, pancakes, waffles, coffee, tea, and cakes. There is even a really good gluten free area. Amazing. Food is regularly changed and topped up.. Overall the team made our vacation- thank you.

We didn't like leaving! We wanted to take the beds, food, and staff with us.... There was nothing we didn't like.

A very stylish and modern hotel in the heart of Gothenburg. Having negotiated the roadworks in the city it was a welcome relief to give the car keys over for valet parking! The foyer was impressive and the staff helpful with check in etc. The bar staff couldn't be more helpful and a lovely start to the trip to enjoy a drink in the vast ground floor area with the beautiful open space to the roof. Four big lifts (glass walls!) carry one to the bedroom floors. It was a bit a walk to the room. The room was perfect, very clean, extremely comfortable beds and we enjoyed the little balcony overlooking the ground floor below. The breakfast had a vast array of foods to choose from - just wish we'd got there a bit earlier to ensure it wasn't so rushed!

Only downside was that the rooms were not close as per our request even though booked well ahead of time. They were literally on opposite sides of the hotel, albeit on the same floor. Also, for guests not used to it- a mention of the need to use the key card to operate the lift would have been handy!

The hotel is centrally located. The breakfast is great, plenty of choices and space to enjoy. The facilities are clean and modern. The staff was nice.

If you need parking be aware it can't be reserved, and it's quite pricey. You'll need to hand the car to the staff who will park it for you. You will not have access to the parking, when you need the car you'll ask and wait for them to bring it in front of the hotel. It wasn't very clear to us even though we asked for information during booking, and the waiting time can be frustraiting especially if you need to leave early. The staff didn't give us any information about the city at the check-in, and the process was a bit slow waiting in line. There was music until late night coming from the street where the room was facing. There's nothing for kids despite the large facilities.

Everything! I travel a lot for work and this is easily one of my favourite hotels. From the super friendly and helpful reception staff, to the location, access to the club lounge is worth investing in (especially if you're travelling alone). The hotel balances modern and 'cool' with sophisticated and stylish perfectly. I'll 100% be back!

If I was to be really picky the carpet and the doorways etc in the common areas eg hallways will soon be in need of renovation. Often hotels are glitzy in the common areas but the rooms are tired, however the Radisson is for the most part glitzy in the right places (eg rooms, club lounge, restaurants seating areas)

1. Great location. We came in from Norway and just walked out of the station across the road to the lobby. 2. The bed was very comfortable. 3. The Hot Chocolate they provided was very tasty. 4. Breakfast spread was huge. It also gets crowded, so plan accordingly. 5. The check-in staff was helpful and friendly 6. The gym is well equipped. It helps that it has 24-hour access. It has all the equipment and also a lot of trainers who are around. 7. All transport around the city is easily accessible from outside the hotel. It's the main junction stop in Gothenburg.

We got a room facing inside. As a result, there's no daylight in the rooms. There is no privacy. We had to keep the curtains drawn all the time. It was also noisy with the restaurant chatter echoing inside the property.

The Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Göteborg was beyond excellent! Its central location was perfect for enjoying the city and for taking the public transit and trains wherever we needed to go. ALL of the staff couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating! The room was plenty big, larger than other hotels we considered in the city with a table and couch and comfortable chair and side table as well. While the bed seemed soft at first it was actually firm and very comfortable. Then there was the breakfast buffet; lots of offerings accommodating all lifestyles, guests from Europe, US, etc.
