Excellent breakfast with a great selection of very high quality cooked and cold options. Friendly staff who were very accommodating when we asked to store bags after check out for a late train. Couldn't be better located for exploring Gothenburg, only a 5 min walk from train/bus stations

Our particular room was a little tired looking - scuffed paint and some rips in the upholstery. There was also a slightly odd sexual vibe that we weren't expecting - the recording of a woman moaning that when your lift got to the correct floor could probably be done away with... I wouldn't stay here with my granny!

Really nice hotel, good breakfast with plenty of choice , really loved the yogurt and berries, and interesting cooked breakfast. Nice setting for breakfast on the top floor with outside setting weather permitting. The bedroom was richly decorated and very comfortable bed, and the shower was also very good.We have stayed on a previous occasion and love the overall rich feel of the hotel , the paintings and photographs give a feel of stepping into a rich past.

It would have been nice to have a latte with breakfast without having to pay extra. The bedroom curtains did not fully close which meant a lot of light early in the day and also they did not have tie backs which was disappointing for such an opulent style room. Also on our first morning it was either a very early sitting for breakfast as the hotel was very full , or take a chance and hope for a table later , we were offered to sit in the bar on the ground floor but that did not really work well and although there was outdoor seating next to the breakfast room the weather was not so good on that morning.these are not really complaints , more observations

Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful: the location on the sunny 4th floor roof terrace made a happy start of the day and the extensive choice of all tasteful food made it even better. In the room a lot of attention had been payd to the wall decorations and the furniture, with a nice special outcome. Excellent location in the center, and still quiet at night.

Me and my husband both hurt our legs. While moving through the room we repeatedly (which is stupid) bumped against the sharp edges of the bed. The wall decorations all showed sparsely dressed women. I know that the hotel wants to create a traditional Parisien atmosphere, but for me this aspect can use an update: either both women and men that are sparsely dressed or no sparsely dressed people at all (and in that case some other images that reflect old Paris).

The breakfast was lovely, the hotel is gorgeous - very very unique, quite camp and maximalist. It was... interesting finding our room. The hotel was very maze-like. Lots of corridors and our room was at one of the furthest ends. Not a bad thing - but definitely unexpected.

The location is not ideal for a good night's sleep - at least, not where our room was located. There is a restaurant/bar directly next door that had loud music playing until 3am, with heavy bass coming through the walls and making it quite a rough night's sleep. The TV in our room did not work - very poor quality and says it is streaming capable - but clearly not. Poor sound and basically couldn't use the TV at all.

The hotel was superb, gorgeous maximalist design with everything thought of. Breakfast was the best i've had in a very long time with a very high quality and varied selection. Loved the two bar and restaurant areas - and the staff were fantastic, super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back.

The bathroom smelled a bit of drains before it was on for a bit and the sink water didn't drain very well. Plus the aircon is quite loud and cant be turned off unfortunately as it's set for the whole building.

The location of the hotel is very central and super close to the central station of Gothenburg, which made it incredibly convenient for getting around the city. It was wonderful to be within walking distance of major attractions, restaurants, and shops. The staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their warm and welcoming demeanor truly enhanced my stay. Although the room was tiny but cosy and well-designed. The thoughtful touches, such as complimentary toiletries and a well-stocked minibar, made a difference. The breakfast was another highlight of my stay, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day off right. Overall, my experience at this hotel was great and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gothenburg. It was value for money and would stay here again!

While the hotel had many positive aspects, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The public bathrooms in the hotel were unfortunately grubby and in need of a thorough cleaning. The carpets throughout the hotel were stained and clearly showed signs of wear and tear, making it evident that they need to be replaced. One of the highlights of the hotel was the sunny roof terrace, which provided a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the view. However, we were disappointed to find that we could only have drinks outside. Despite the pleasant weather, we were unable to order snacks, lunch, or dinner on the terrace due to a shortage of staff. This limited our experience and was a bit of a letdown, especially since the terrace had such great potential as a dining space.

Great Breakfast, huge variety nicely presented with either indoor or outdoor seating. The Hotel itself has very a Interesting design theme and decor, quite dark in certain areas which may present issues for some people. The Hotel is located very close to the railway, Bus station and tram stops which is very convenient. It is also very well located for close access to the major shopping and tourist areas.

The Hotel is located in between tram lines and the noise of the trams may annoy some people as they run up beyond midnight and start again at 5am

The hotel had a lot of character, the staff were very good and helpful. We had a petite plus room which was adequate for space, any smaller might be too small for some people. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, excellent quality and good choice. Staff at breakfast were very nice. Downstairs bar was comfortable and the bar staff pleasant and informative.

The hotel lighting in most areas was a bit dim. Also would of been good to have a kettle in the room.

This might be my favourite hotel in the world after just one night. It is such a wonderfully quirky little place, but at the same time unbelievably comfortable and welcoming. Beautiful design of the rooms and the central areas. The breakfast was outstanding - lots to choose from and wonderful quality. I told them I was vegan the night when I checked in and when I got to breakfast less than 10 hours later, they had a little plate of vegan ham and cheese and butter ready for me which was good quality and very thoughtful. They also wrapped a little roll of it for me to take on the train. The staff all seem really happy working here - a wonderful atmosphere. The rooms were so clean, powerful shower. And oh my...the bed! I could have slept in it for days. Can you tell I LOVE this place?!

The designers of this hotel have left no detail untouched. The historical Paris theme is executed throughout and all of these touches, from the wallpaper to the decor, add to the feeling like you've stepped into that world. I slept well in my bed (the lighting could've been brighter), and had great chats with Simon, while having a beer in the bar next to reception.

The physical keys with tassels. I realise their old-Parisian charm but they were clunky to carry around. I got an internal room so I couldn't tell what the weather was by looking out the window.
