Nice location and lovely staff. The smashed TV on the top floor next to the lift was not a nice sign. There's a bar up there so guessing that's why, still... It just needed removing/replacing. Rooms were hot, the air con could evidently not cope with summer! Breakfast was annoying in that we had to book a slot. Never had to do that before, and I travel a fair bit. The bed linen was tatty, the floor needed a decent hoover. Why no tea and coffee making facility in the rooms?! Again, that's pretty unusual right?! Also, sorry but the claim that the rooftop bar is the best in the world... It's a nice view, even a great view, but the swedish-house-mafia 😘, the limited selection of drinks and some plastic plants kind of suggest there might be better ones out there. I love Gothenburg though, really really great city!

This was a great distance from the city centre and easy to get to by public transport. There is a tram stop right outside, and is also about a 10mins walk from where the Airport bus drops you off. Check-in is at 3, but if you’re too early, they do have a room for you to drop your luggage off. My room was spacious for one person and still could have had a small couch or small fridge in the room. The bed was comfortable, the room had everything I needed for a long weekend stay in Gothenburg. I have seen reviews complaining about the noise from the rooftop bar and I have to say that even though I was on the 3rd floor and my room was on the side of the bar and I was staying during a national holiday weekend, I did not hear a peep. When it comes to breakfast, I was happy with what the hotel had to offer. There was a mix of hot and cold dishes and something heavy or light meals to suit your preferences. I found that there was a lot of space for everyone to have a table during breakfast, considering that (as I mentioned) this was during a national holiday weekend. Lastly, the staff were all very friendly throughout my stay.

Whilst having luggage storage is a pro, I think the con is that anyone could really enter this room. Both times when I had to put my bag in there, staff have advised that it is just open and I’m free to drop my bag inside. I’d like to think that people won’t leave valuables but this just something to be wary of. I don’t imagine anyone *will* enter, but it’s not only staff who have access to this room.

Comfort hotel was a great place to stay in for the weekend in Gothenburg. As per other reviews, the breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had - the variety and intolerant friendly options were amazing. The sauna was also a really nice facility to use and was extremely clean. The gym was also nice and for a hotel gym, it had quite decent equipment to use. The room itself was also quite a large room, however my only comment would be that the double bed was two single mattresses put together and was slightly uncomfortable. Aside from this, I would have no complaints at all.

I had a wonderful stay at Comfort Hotel Göteborg. The room was impressively spacious yet had a snug and cozy feel, showcasing that clean and minimalist Scandinavian style. The location was also fantastic—just a quick 4-minute tram ride from Gothenburg Central Station, making it incredibly convenient. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Göteborg!

I couldn’t fault my stay at Comfort Hotel Göteborg. The room was spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed in a classic Scandinavian style. The convenient location, just a 4-minute tram ride from Gothenburg Central Station, made it the perfect base for exploring the city. Everything about my stay exceeded expectations!

Position is really practical to city center and to public transport, breakfast was good and room too was really good. Extended hours of gym is another interesting and valuable aspect. Important remarks, hotel is really close to the Vasttrafik boat station so also inf you need to get to the other side of the bay/sea it's really practical.

Nothing critical or serious. Maybe on the first floor rooms a horizontal half curtains would be good. Rooms are just in front of the tram and bus stop and would improve little bit the privacy.

The hotel is very central with a lovely view to the river and a direct connection to the city center by foot, tram or bus. The rooms are spatious, comfortable and have everything you might need for a short stay. Every day the breakfast was extremely good, there were lots of options to choose from and very healthy dishes. I really enjoeyed my stay and will be using this as my main hub in all future Gothenburg trips for sure.

Great location and it was a nice stay...

No infomation about breakfast other than check-in and then they saod 06:30, but Saturday it was 07:30. When we went down at 06:30 a cleaning person told us 07:00, which was also wrong. The confusion made us nearly miss the boat to Denmark. It should be possible to have hotel information available in the room. Also, everything was just with no extras. An extra pillow would have been nice.

Our stay was fantastic ,first time def not last. The room was Big and not loudly , did have my beauty sleep.😁Breakfast was a hit alot to choose from and the staff where so friendly and ready to help with anything. Last minute breakfast but tables where cleaned Quickly so space for us to sit was available. An amaizing hotel not so far from everything,Nice view of the water. Ended up making friends at the lobby.

I didnt like that after a tired day landing check in was abit of a mess i was in room 3** but was gladly directed to the Wrong elevatior be awear they do have two diffrent. The corridor way to the rooms was like being in a mindfield once you start walking out you cant find the elevatior but end up in a rotation. When i went down to ask where my room was the rude lady Said Opps you should use the Other elevatior. After along rotation of 15 min that feelt like 1hour i found it. Some bit of hair where on the pillow we didnt like but the rest was fancy.

I return to this hotel because it is on the waterfront, easy walk to train/bus station, the Haga neighborhood, kayaking, etc. The hotel has everything I need including a nice expansive breakfast, front desk, easy check in, nice lobby, snacks, workout room, etc. We had a great view of the harbor which I love because it allows us to see Gothenburg in action and orient us to the city.

The one, small, hard pillow allotted is baffling to me. The linens are also scratchy. We both slept poorly the first night due to having only one pillow each. Staff kindly brought us each a second pillow the next day. I do not like that the room's windows do not open. This requires guests to use the AC to get ventilation. Our room's AC/heater was broken or nonfunctioning. We both slept poorly the first night because we were so hot. Staff kindly brought a small fan up at 5am and the room is much more comfortable. Also, the layout of the rooms is a bit odd, with the unusual elevations and access to the elevators via the restaurant. +Can the shower water be warmer?

This hotel's location is right in Stenpiren and is a walking distance to most tourist attractions like Haga (15 min), Padden Boat Pier (15 min), Fish market (10 min), Archipelago tours pier (12 min), Gottenburg museum (5 min), and Gottenburg central station (15 min). Breakfast was included and had a variety of tasty options. There is a top-floor bar with an amazing view.
