The breakfast was excellent lots of variety and constantly topped up. All staff were very pleasant. The reception staff were also very helpful and knowledgeable especially Matilda and Simon. Having tea & coffee to help yourself to in reception was good as the facilities were not available in the room.

The room was a standard room, very clean & tidy but I felt a little small as we were there for 5nights. There was also alack of coat hangers but this was soon rectified by reception staff.

Easy to reach location, even if your phone is dead (enough "way points" from Göteborg Central to easily find it from there too); good price for the quality provided; super friendly and helpful staff; very comfortable beds.

Loud street nearby, also because of the construction site they had; you can't open the windows properly to let in fresh air, I had to jam my book between the two windows to keep them open enough to let any air in at all (see image)

Perfect location. A pretty short walk from the train station along the river. A quiet road but easy access to restaurants, shops, etc. Very comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly staff. Lone travellers are often anxious about ending up in a worrying location and I was no exception. My fears were groundless, I felt safe and confident walking to and from Poseidon.

Not many vegan options at breakfast. This isn't unusual and I appreciate that we are in a minority so I was prepared with my own supply of emergency biscuits. Be aware that there are some vegan options hidden away that you have ask for but I didn't find out about that until it was too late.

Old-fashioned in a charming way and very up-to-date in terms of outlets and USB plugs near the bed. Big shower with a door so that the whole bathroom does not get wet when you wash up. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also, a nice shaded deck area that you can use for a drink or a bring-in meal. Breakfast is extremely complete and the breakfast dining area is spacious as well.

The windows only open a few inches for obvious safety reasons. Airflow is thereby limited, but a quiet fan is provided which certainly helps on a warm night.

I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel! We had a smooth communication prior to my stay at the hotel (and all my questions were prompty answered). Our room was clean, very nicely decorated and we had a nice view from our balcony. Breakfast was included in the stay and and it had lots of options, including vegan and gluten free. Loved the vibe and the overall look of the hotel! And it has a perfect location! I would definitely stay again, so I can 100% recommend!

Breakfast was good for the price. Buffet had enough options for the size. Maybe improve biscuits and the baker sweets which were not present. Room was great for one night. It was small but not less than what we needed. Out room didnt have a closet, but since we were staying for a night it wasnt needed. I guess depending on the duration that might change. Location was spot on, and hospitality too!

All okay If I have to say something maybe the corridor smell was different, but not bad. The room smelled nice. I jusst say this to put something, but no problems to be honest

I got a smaller room than I usually do when I have previously picked the double economy, I thought that would be bad but actually the room was very comfortable to be in, it was very quiet and cozy, I also need darkness to sleep well and I was happy that during the night the room was very dark. I really like this hotel, it is very comfortable, have all you need, I particularly love the fact that you can cast on the tv, I had the chance to watch a documentary I have been wanting to see for a while. The rooms are always super clean, the bathrooms are just bright clean, the personal is always very kind and the breakfast as usual was fantastic. Location is perfect, in a quiet yet very central location. This is my go to hotel whenever I need to stay over the night in Gothenburg, definitely recommend it.

The location is great. We could walk everywhere. It is also right next to a tram stop if you wanted to take the tram. The rooms were clean and modern. The staff was extremely friendly. The absolute best part was the amazing complimentary breakfast. They had so much food to choose from. All of it was delicious and the coffee was very good. They also kept it open for a reasonable time, so you could still sleep in if you wanted to.

The mattress could have been a little more comfortable, but it was fine.

Our hotel was within walking distance to the train station--and it was a beautiful walk along the water. It had air conditioning, and though our room wasn't very large, it was adequate for our needs. The hotel was in a beautiful area where we were able to take lovely walks and visit many different places. Oh, and the breakfast was delicious!

great breakfast selection. easy access to transportation. small but clean rooms. staff was always helpful.

The room was a little warm due to no central AC but that is through out Europe. If we left the window open, outside noise was loud. The rooms decor could use an update. The colors were a retro look.
