Room was spacious and had everything we needed during the trip. I asked for a room with windows facing outdoors (not inner courtyard) and we got it without any further questions. Breakfast was rich and fulfilled every needs = from savory to sweet, from cold cuts to hot options, vegan should be satisfied as well.

The location, near to lots of different places but also not too busy. Pretty quiet apart from trams which are hard to get away from in Gothenburg! Good bars and restaurants just around the corner. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and options to cater for all dietary requirements. The Breakfast team kept things stocked and cleared tables quickly even on a busy weekend and always with a smile. Friendly reception staff who helped with directions and how to travel around Gothenburg. Nice touch of ice cold water in reception lobby. They honoured my request for a quiet room and it had everything we needed, kettle for coffee and tea, good sized tv. Some Swedish TV is in English, but also had Sky News. Mini fridge, safe and good sized wardrobe. Bathroom had plenty of room and an excellent shower with hot water and a good pressure always available. Did all the hotel things well. Liked being able to opt out of daily room cleaning. Nice to have a pub in the basement with an outside area too for those times when you don’t really feel like going out.

The bed wasn’t to our personal taste, too soft and bouncy. If you have a restless sleeping partner maybe go for a twin! A few things around the decor maybe need refreshing, but overall everything was fine.

Our stay was fantastic in a great location with the trams stopping just outside the front door! And just around the corner from everywhere!! Our room was clean and warm and very comfortable with a lovely big window i enjoyed returning to a clean fresh room everyday, the breakfast was exceptional which set us up for the day! With a variety of so many options everyones needs or dietary requirements were definitely met. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we have already made plans to return to the city and to stay in the Elite Plaza

There was nothing we didn't like everything genuinely met expectations, at a push the bottom of the shower door slightly leaked

The architecture of the hotel is amazing, I enjoyed seeing so much art within the walls of this building. It's located close to the central station, 10 min walk, surrounded by a lot of shops, restaurants, coffee places, there is no way someone would be bored stayig there. The weather was bad when we arrived, so we enjoyed the bar, the gym, and the sauna inside the hotel. The facilities exceeded my expectations. Our room was perfect, comfortable beds, the staff even welcomed us with balloons and chocolates for my birthday. Couldn't be more perfect! The breakfast room was amazing, decorated, with great options of quality food. I would definitely love to stay there again!

The gym and sauna didn't have drinking water. The staff probably forgot to refil the jugs, but that wasn't a major issue.

You can’t ask for a better location than this. You are within walking distance to everything. The area is beautiful as well. Being an old hotel, you had the charm of the architecture inside and out. The room was comfortable with enough space. The cleanliness was for the most part excellent. The bathtub needed a little more attention in terms of cleanliness. We appreciated the hotel accommodating our request to make sure our stay was comfortable.

The only thing that could be better was the pillows. They were a bit uncomfortable. The filling within the pillows stuck together making it uncomfortable

The hotel location was perfect to get to all parts of Gothenburg with easy access to transport if needed. The staff were extremely friendly and approachable, providing us with extra items as required (oat milk and extra cups for the room). The rooms were cozy and clean and had facilities such as tea/coffee ironing board/iron and hairdryer. The breakfast......amazing. The best selection for all the group including the meat eaters and the vegan options that were fresh and unprocessed. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The bathroom needed an update but the neighboring rooms were having work carried out to update them. One of the rooms was on the smaller side compared but still usable.

Where upgraded to a really nice room so value for money was high however the first room we we're offered had only a miniature window felt claustrophobic. So I cant say for certain that you will be equally lucky if you go for the cheapest tier room. But it was no problem to switch and then we got an amazing room.

The hotel is cozy and the bar is nice with friendly staff and the location is great However the vegan breakfast was ok but could be better. There was out yougurt, vegan waffles was the best. Also basic vegan cheese and some bread. But that was it. Also oat milk.

Nice place, green in a meaningful way (natural candle lighting everywhere), quiet and spacious without feeling lost. In the reception lobby I found a very nice book about clock and watch through the manufacturing's perspective. I think that was an interesting touch that makes the difference between cheap and all-around magazines and high class hotels.

I had a room with a view over the kitchen. The window had to be closed 24/7 because of the noise. The air conditioning helped even though it was a bit noisy.

The location is perfect, just setback from the main avenue (5 minutes walk), very close to a great array of restaurants, bars and boutique shops. There is a main tram / bus stop (Domkyrkan) within a minutes walk with links to the whole city and a ferry terminal (Stenpiren) only 5 minutes walk away. There is a great pub under the Hotel called The Bishops Arms that serve a large range of beers. The wide range of food (both hot & cold) for Breakfast will definitely set you up for the day.

I can really complain apart from the TV didn't work but it wasn't an issue for me and I'm sure it would of been sorted if I had mentioned this to reception as the staff are very friendly & helpful.

Upon arrival after midnight on 30th October 2024 the receptionist Juaquin asked me how my journey had been. I told him it has been very difficult as I had been hoping for a meal, beer sauna and bed. Thanks to a four hour Ryanair flight delay none of this would be possible. Juaquin was very concerned about this found me a place where I could have eaten close by. As it was now 00.45hrs I was too tired but he offered to set up the sauna for me if I wanted. He then offered to make me a small sandwich. This was much appreciated and he brought it upstairs for me and directed me to the minibar where I found a beer. A great attitude to service. Well done Juaquin and I will be coming back to your hotel on my next visit.
