Room was spacious and had everything we needed during the trip. I asked for a room with windows facing outdoors (not inner courtyard) and we got it without any further questions. Breakfast was rich and fulfilled every needs = from savory to sweet, from cold cuts to hot options, vegan should be satisfied as well.

you need to pass few stairs to some rooms - be ready for that or ask about fully accessible room

Our stay was fantastic in a great location with the trams stopping just outside the front door! And just around the corner from everywhere!! Our room was clean and warm and very comfortable with a lovely big window i enjoyed returning to a clean fresh room everyday, the breakfast was exceptional which set us up for the day! With a variety of so many options everyones needs or dietary requirements were definitely met. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and we have already made plans to return to the city and to stay in the Elite Plaza

There was nothing we didn't like everything genuinely met expectations, at a push the bottom of the shower door slightly leaked

You can’t ask for a better location than this. You are within walking distance to everything. The area is beautiful as well. Being an old hotel, you had the charm of the architecture inside and out. The room was comfortable with enough space. The cleanliness was for the most part excellent. The bathtub needed a little more attention in terms of cleanliness. We appreciated the hotel accommodating our request to make sure our stay was comfortable.

The only thing that could be better was the pillows. They were a bit uncomfortable. The filling within the pillows stuck together making it uncomfortable

The hotel location was perfect to get to all parts of Gothenburg with easy access to transport if needed. The staff were extremely friendly and approachable, providing us with extra items as required (oat milk and extra cups for the room). The rooms were cozy and clean and had facilities such as tea/coffee ironing board/iron and hairdryer. The breakfast......amazing. The best selection for all the group including the meat eaters and the vegan options that were fresh and unprocessed. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The bathroom needed an update but the neighboring rooms were having work carried out to update them. One of the rooms was on the smaller side compared but still usable.

Where upgraded to a really nice room so value for money was high however the first room we we're offered had only a miniature window felt claustrophobic. So I cant say for certain that you will be equally lucky if you go for the cheapest tier room. But it was no problem to switch and then we got an amazing room.

The hotel is cozy and the bar is nice with friendly staff and the location is great However the vegan breakfast was ok but could be better. There was out yougurt, vegan waffles was the best. Also basic vegan cheese and some bread. But that was it. Also oat milk.

The location is perfect, just setback from the main avenue (5 minutes walk), very close to a great array of restaurants, bars and boutique shops. There is a main tram / bus stop (Domkyrkan) within a minutes walk with links to the whole city and a ferry terminal (Stenpiren) only 5 minutes walk away. There is a great pub under the Hotel called The Bishops Arms that serve a large range of beers. The wide range of food (both hot & cold) for Breakfast will definitely set you up for the day.

I can really complain apart from the TV didn't work but it wasn't an issue for me and I'm sure it would of been sorted if I had mentioned this to reception as the staff are very friendly & helpful.

Upon arrival after midnight on 30th October 2024 the receptionist Juaquin asked me how my journey had been. I told him it has been very difficult as I had been hoping for a meal, beer sauna and bed. Thanks to a four hour Ryanair flight delay none of this would be possible. Juaquin was very concerned about this found me a place where I could have eaten close by. As it was now 00.45hrs I was too tired but he offered to set up the sauna for me if I wanted. He then offered to make me a small sandwich. This was much appreciated and he brought it upstairs for me and directed me to the minibar where I found a beer. A great attitude to service. Well done Juaquin and I will be coming back to your hotel on my next visit.

A shame I could not stay longer

Nice location within walking distance of city museum and a large shopping centre. Beautiful decor in bedroom and whole hotel. Wonderful breakfast selection

There was a heatwave while we were in gothenburg. There was a fan in the room but air conditioning was needed to cool the room down. Other parts of the hotel were OK so think there was AC in the general areas just not in the bedrooms. Breakfast room got very busy at the weekend. Need to go for breakfast early to avoid crowds at weekend. can enjoy a quiet leisurely breakfast in the week Otherwise nothing to dislike

The hotel is very centrally located within walking distance of the train station and the main shopping area in downtown Gothenburg. I was also able to walk to the tourist office from the hotel. Staff were very helpful and understanding and provided umbrellas when it was raining. The breakfast selection was good and served in a very pleasant environment. Even though it was busy at times, I managed to find a seat. The room and bed were very comfortable and I was able to sleep well. I also enjoyed having a meal at the pub on the ground floor of the hotel.

One of the lifts did not work for the first day of my stay so there was a long wait for the lift at times, though it was good exercise to go up and down the stairs.

The hotel was a lovely, elegant hotel with an amazing breakfast!! The food was delicious!! The location was in a quiet area, but that could have been because we were visiting over Easter Holiday, and it was very quiet in town. We also enjoyed the bars in the hotel. Loved the scent infused in the lobby!

The room we had did not have a great view, but that wasn't a problem. Hotel was a bit dated inside, and could use some updating.
