This was my second time at WOW apartments, just that I had a double room instead of a single room. The room was very clean, internet worked flawlessly, the small fridge came in handy. The kitchen is very well equipped and big enough for various people to eat there. Yes, it can be messy if people behave like naughty teenagers and don't clean up after themselves but this happened only once over the course of a week. The communication with the staff was generally excellent. I also got an earlier check in which was very nice. That the building is in walking distance to Haga is a big plus, you can also walk to the city center within 15 to 20 minutes.

The lighting in the bathroom could be better.

We stayed at WOW as a family of four after another reservation fell through. As things turned out, we were very happy at the change of plans! The communication with the management was very smooth ahead of arrival, but note that there is no onsite reception. The property itself is very comfortable, nicely designed with a good kitchen and outside area. It is very easy to park nearby and the city centre is a 20 minute walk away, with the Liseberg amusement park around 30 mins on foot. Highly recommended for a stay to discover a great city.

Nothing - it is a great option if you don't mind checking in with codes and keyboxes

I had a great stay in a single studio; perfect for solo travelers! The studio was spotless and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. I loved the Smeg fridge in the room, and having access to a full shared kitchen was a nice bonus. I really enjoyed my time here and would happily return!

I stayed in a downstairs unit, which was generally very comfortable, though I could occasionally hear guests coming and going. Also, the hallway light was a bit noticeable through the seams of the door at night. Not major issues, but something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

Perfect location to visit the city on foot and by public transport. Quiet area = slept very well. Small but adequate room and bathroom with a great shower. Shared kitchen where you can cook breakfast, lunch or dinner (but we were visiting friends in the city so only used the coffee machine). Fridge in the room and small supermarket nearby. Liked the architecture and how the room(s) are decorated. Feels very welcoming. Entering with code to get the key worked perfectly. We stayed 3 nights and hope to book this place again when we come back to visit friends and the city. Sunny terrace too! Very good value for money. Great bakery (sour dough) in the neighborhood as well!

Coffee machine = Nespresso => you cannot buy the capsules if there aren't any in the kitchen. Carpet in our room (would have preferred anything but carpet for hygienic reasons). Our room was in the -1 so a bit dark, but we only needed it for sleeping so that was fine. Next time will try to book a room on a higher floor. Pity some guests don't seem to understand the concept of 'cleaning up after yourself' in the kitchen and left dirty plates in the sink.

Our room was upgraded to apartment for no extra cost, so I'm writing about that apartment. Nice rooms, cosy. We had all that we needed for 3-night stay and even more. We didn't cook, but there was equipment that would have made it possible if we needed to cook. Location is close to the center and has good tram connection.

Apartment was on third floor with steep stairway and it was difficult for my mother who is 66 to climb the stairs. That should have been checked with us before switching us to another unit. Hence the overall grade 9 instead of 10

This is a small hotel, just without reception. It's an old building in a residential area. The room and the common spaces are cozy and spotless clean. The location is excellent: 15 minutes walk to the center, and a tram stop nearby if you rather use public transportation. The check-in/out procedure is straightforward. The hotel is extremely quiet: I did not hear a single noise from other rooms or from the road. All in all, I truly enjoyed the stay.

My room was quite small and -in particular- there was not a free surface where I could e.g. open my bag. No table, no chair. I had to stack my thing on top of the refrigerator. This was not a major problem for me, as it was a short stay and I basically just slept there. If I had needed to organize more stuff or do work with a laptop, I would have lacked the space. If you need space, make sure you book a room that suits your needs.

Location was very good - central yet quiet. Most of our destination points were in the walking distance. Rooms were clean and spacious, ample space for luggage etc. Kitchen in the apartment and communal kitchen came in handy.

Rooms were a little bit chilly (we stayed there in the second half of February and radiators could've been a little bit warmer :)). Instructions to find the key were a little confusing (as if you could approach the building from just one side of the building). But all went well in the end.

LOVED the rooms (we had 2 apartments for our family of 5 adults - in the second apartment the girls took the bed and my teenage son slept on top of the sofa)- just the right amount of space for our family. Great decorations, large bathrooms. Quiet neighborhood - we could open the windows for the cool air in August nights without having to worry about loud parties or even passers by. No issues with being hot without A/C! Very relaxing and peaceful. Super comfy beds too! Great location close to the train/bus to head to the Branno ferry! Also, there were plenty of food options and shopping close by. Of all the places we stayed in Denmark and Sweden (5) during our week stay this was the best! We would definitely stay here again!!

I would have loved to have been a little closer to Haga as there is a steep hill to traverse in getting back home - but in all honestly the quiet sleeping with the open windows was more than worth the unexpected workout (-;

Beautiful, well-maintained building in a quiet residential area around 25 mins walk from the centre. We had a 2-bed apartment on the top floor, which was small but fine for a short stay and had everything we needed. We didn't use the shared kitchen as we had our own cooking facilities but the shared kitchen was clean and well-presented, with a dining table. The beds were super comfortable and we weren't disturbed by any noise. My husband left his phone behind after we checked out and the manager, Kathy, was really helpful in making sure he was reunited with it.

The main bedroom has no door or curtain and the bed directly faces where the door should be so there is no privacy, especially as the single bedroom (which has a curtain) is directly opposite. We couldn't work out why it was open in this way. It also meant that all the light from the kitchen window came into the room in the early hours, which didn't make for a good night's sleep. After the first night, we asked the lovely and very helpful cleaning lady if anything could be done about the light from the kitchen window, and when we came home from our day, a temporary blind had been put up, which we appreciated.

Peaceful surrounds in the neighbourhood. Nice decor, exceptional layout including share kitchen in such good condition. Uncluttered space, clean, laundry facilities.

The building is not suited to children who are loud, as it was easy to hear shrieking and hallway/stair running through the walls. My unit had a terrible smell intermittently in the bathroom, which was like sewage. I finally traced it, I think, to the shower curtain. I tried to book parking by email three times but no messages were ever returned. I expect there wasn't availability, but a reply would have been nice.
