Comfortable bunks, with a lot of height, a light, shelf, and power. Modern, comfortable room. Bathrooms are external from the room, some prefer that, some don't. Easy check in, and they allowed me to check in at 10am. Close to botanical garden and park, 10 minute tram to city centre available from right outside. Some food and shops around.

The only obvious downside is that they charge for linen, which is mandatory and not overly obvious when booking. This should be in the base price, and discounted if you bring your own linen.

Great location a short walk from Haga and the botanical gardens. Tram stops right outside. Room and shared bathrooms were very clean, comfortable beds. Easy self check in. Information about local area provided in the room. Helpful staff (reception open only 8-11am each day)

Bed linen and towels not included. Are in the room but if used are an additional 65 SEK (about €5.60) per person. This is fine as the rooms are cheap but should be made clearer when booking.

Very nice place in a good location. It had everything you need 🙂 The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The place is well-kept.

I was surprised that you have to pay extra for bedding. This is the first time I've seen this.

The hostel was spotless in all areas. We liked all the plants in the lounge area and also appreciated the blankets on the outside terrace, which were especially useful when it was windy. The automated check-in system worked well. The kitchen was well equipped and it was a good idea to use numbered boxes for guests to keep their food separate. Location was slightly out of the city centre but next to a wonderful park.

Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't pay for it. We did consider having it on one day but decided the display of food etc probably wasn't worth the money. There were other reviews complaining about having to pay for bed linen. But we thought it was clear at booking that you had to either bring your own or pay extra. Only other comment is that when we were leaving, (having stored our bags) there were two women trying to get in. They didn't know the code and were clearly trying it on - became quite agressive when we told them they couldn't get in if they hadn't booked. Just for info of future travellers!

The beds were even and not saggy, kitchen was always clean and useful. The whole place exceptionally clean. I was in a dorm and bathrooms are always an issue but here they have one shared toilet/shower but then 2 other single toilets and showers so it makes it really convenient. Well thought out! Curtains on beds and individual light in bed, nice table in room, helpful staff. The decor is amazing cosy but chic. I’m older and not a fan of all this tech and codes to enter but it really wasn’t an issue at all. Good wifi and excellent overall experience. Near Haga area to walk around or historical redoubt on small hilltop. Highly recommend

It was incredibly hot and I know AC is not common in Scandinavia but maybe some fans when it gets to 30 degrees. Also maybe provide basic stuff: salt pepper oil tea coffee in shared kitchen. Cheap small additions make a big difference to backpacker who can’t carry all of this. But overall nothing to complain about - it feels like a hotel.

I was happily surprised at the comfort of this place, the room I got was very big, comfortable and cozy, I was so absolutely happy with having a big sofa in the room, it made a huge difference for me. The bed and pillows were very comfy too. Even if it is next to a road, it is a super calm place and even if I am a light sleeper, there was not bothering noises or anything that would upset my sleep. The shared bathrooms were always extremely clean, I don't know how busy the place was during my stay, I only saw other guests during breakfast, so the shower and bathroom were always available and as said before, they were always super clean. The location is super convenient, really central and you can't have better connection than this place, the trams and buses stop just across the street, therefore you can go to anywhere in Gothenburg from here. There was also an available kitchen with all that you need to prepare simple meals during your stay, more than enough tables and space to cook. The breakfast room is really cozy and its available to use during the day if you wish to work there or sit and watch tv or read a book. The breakfast was ok, perhaps I would like to have had some warm dishes available but overall its fine. Check in was super easy and I had no issues at all with it. Will definitely stay here again when needed and I recommend it without a doubt.

The location was great, particularly getting to the park and Botanical Gardens. The place was modern, clean and welcoming. I liked the kitchen which had all things to use and fridge system. Rooms were a good size and comfortable beds. You have to pay extra for bed linen / towel and make the bed yourself, but it was only 75 Kroner for however long you stayed. There is also a great shop / cafe next door and a supermarket just down the road.

Nothing really. Slight issue with getting into the property as I hadn’t received my email or text either the codes for the door or my room. The other issue was I did try emailing them and calling both numbers, including the in emergency …. And no one picked up and the email didn’t work. Had to contact them through booking.com email in the end. However it was resolved quickly when they found out, just a bit more stressful than it needed to be. The top bunks didn’t have any side bars going across so slightly dangerous if you rolled, you could fall out.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Healthy good breakfast. Clean and comfortable.

1. Pale grey and white signage makes it a bit difficult to read and find. 2. A key card for door entry would have been better. Trying to look through for my first code, in several messages, in the dark, when I needed the toilet made things more difficult to concentrate. 3. Guests have an option to bring their own sheets. I would have preferred just to pay for everything all at once. If someone brings their own sheets no one will check it. If the sheets are clean or used, or bring insects in with them. It's a problem waiting to happen, if they ever get an infestation.

I stayed here for one night and had a pleasant experience. The place was very clean and welcoming, and the self check-in process was extremely easy. I've specifically requested the lower bed, witch I was happy to find it on my arrival. The bed was comfortable and the rooms have lockers but you need to bring your own padlock. Really good Internet speed too, over 100Mbp download on Wi-Fi. The breakfast buffet was good, though it wasn't included in the price and came with an extra charge of 115 SEK per person. The rooms are well-arranged, and while the showers and bathrooms are in the common areas, they are separated, which is a great feature. However, there was a Hidden Cost I hadn't noticed during booking – bed linens and towels aren't provided unless you pay extra or bring your own, so keep that in mind, it's 75 SEK per person. I also tried contacting the hotel via email and booking messages two weeks prior my arrival, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive any response. The reception is only open until noon (midday), which might explain the lack of communication. Overall, I was satisfied with the accommodation. The common spaces are nicely furnished, and I would recommend it despite the few small issues.

The bed linen was not included in the price and it was an extra cost that I was not expecting when made a reservation.

Lovely place, great location, just by the park where you can see different kinds of animals and the public transport station in right across the street. You can use transport easily, just tap the credit card on the reader and you're covered for 90 min of riding with it just remember to validate your card while changing the vehicle. Hotel is very clean and cosy, room is just the right size and the balcony gave us a chance to just sit and watch. Toilets and showers are at another level. It's really clean, it shows that they put a lot pf work in this. Breakfast is lovely, there is something for everyone. Amazing coffee and I'm not talking about coffee machine but real coffee. You've got to try apple jam and wild berry jam. Also lovely staff that are always cheerful and ready to help. Self check in is so easy, you get a code before you arrive the same day and then you get two keys and spare one that stays in locker. Getting in and out is also easy, just tap the key of your room to the reader on the left side of the hotel door and there you go. They also offer a kitchen where you can cook yourself a meal or eat something, and I have to say it is perfect. You have everything you need, even a refrigerator where you devide your food from the others and an oven. It's open from 6am until 10pm. Comfy beds are like heaven after a long day on your feet. There are great coffee shops near: OH MY COFFEE, NOTELLA ROLLS, Juice bar: Nextlevel juice, where juice is really next level and gelato also. You need to try Notello rolls, they have different kinds of pancakes, mini, american, italian and original crepes and also waffles. And an amazing coffe and juice. Definitely going there again very soon. Great price for all the good stuff.
