The hotel is in a "funkis-villa" in a very quiet and peaceful area. Nearby the Botanical Gardens with Slottsskogen on the other side of the rail and a main road called Dag Hammarskjöldsleden. There is a footbridge where you can cross over these. Not far to walk down to Linnéplatsen and from there Haga is just down the street. Note that if you arrive by car beware that google maps will lead you to Sahlgrenska hospital - which is very nearby but can only be accessed by foot from the hotel. However, you need to arrive from the little side road to Dag Hammarskjöldsleden called Carl Skottbergs gata and drive through the gate to the Botanical Gardens. The hotel has a breakfast area with a Scandinavian breakfast buffet - all we needed and more. Coffee and cookies available throughout the day. In front there there is a terrace with garden furniture. Rooms are relatively small, but well furnished and spotlessly clean. Downstairs there is a lounge area, a sauna and a wardrobe with an additional shower.

The first night there was a whistling sound in the room like from a garden hose that we first could not locate - it turned out to be the heater/radiator and when turning it off the noise disappeared (also opening the valve some more would have eliminated the sound).

Serene environment with a homely feel. The breakfast was very good with a variety of goods to choose from and equally filling. They served fresh warm bread, fruits and vegetables in good proportion. Helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean, clean bedding and towels, clean bathroom and good lighting. Though the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, there is a microwave for you to warm up your food in. About 11 minutes bus ride from the Gothenburg central train station around Brunnsparken. For leisure, Ewa and Maude hotel is about 15 minutes walk away from a Minigolf course and the Botanical garden. There is also the National historical museum which is not far from the hotel.

There is a self-service mini market with a vending machine - quite newly installed for (snacks, drinks and portioned meals). I did not like that it accepted only app payment ( at least at the time of our visit).

Kitchen was open for fika, coffee etc. whenever you wanted anything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was good for ease to hospital.

Basic room, things could have been a bit better, curtain hanging, no hanging place for towel, shower could only be used handheld, nowhete to place showerhead. Big problem was finding the place, even GPS could not find it! Needs a sign to point to small road to get to hotel. We had to go round road system 3 times before guessing where to go.

Friendly staff Excellent breakfast Relaxed atmosphere and small touches added to make you feel very welcome. Loved that there were biscuits, snacks and coffee all day - really good when you come in from a long day of activities and need the sugar and caffeine right away. Comfy bed Right next to a nature reserve and could hear the birds singing. We would love to return We got two windows for a good through draft during the night ( we always get too hot at night)

We had a lovely break on a long journey. The hotel is in a quiet green area, so it was very convenient to walk our dog in a nature reserve next to the hotel. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. We were able to enjoy it on a sunny terasse. Our hosts were very helpful and gave us all the information and advice on things to do in town and other practical tips. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Breakfast was free and as good as other comments mentioned. I was worried if the room was too small for two, but when actually living inside we didn't have such feelings. Everything needed were included. My husband claimed that this was the best hotel he ever lived in Europe! The candy at the front desk is extremely tasty. Don't miss it!!

Lovely Hotel in quiet residential area. Plenty of good walks near by. Very welcoming staff and very helpful. Room small but with everything you need for a short stay. Good choice of breakfast. Coffee and pastries available all day.

Property was excellent but a little out of town with no restaurants near by. Would stay again though.

Nothing, it was all very good.

Quiet and calm environment. Delicious breakfast and easy parking. The vending machine had lots of snacks, drinks and dinner meals you can heat in the kitchens microwave. The room was comfortable and clean with a tv and fridge with complimentary soft drinks. The sauna was very nice. The staff were helpful. Great value for your money, without the noise and busy atmosphere of a big hotel

It's a charming hotel located in a nice and quiet area near the botanical garden. The hotel is easy to reach with public transportation, just a 10 minute walk from Linnéplatsen. I had a clean and comfy single room that I liked a lot. Not very large, but there was everything i needed. A comfortable bed, desk & chair, wardrobe, plus an armchair to sit and read. Even a small fridge. Charming. The bathroom was fine too. Breakfast was good. Fresh food, various options, there's something for everyone. Moreover, there's a large balcony (which can be reached from the breakfast room) that guests can use. So if the weather is fine, you can sit outside with a cup of coffee and enjoy the garden view.

WLAN wasn't very stable. I got disconnected fairly often. Other than that, everythings was fine.
