Once again, a great start at Elite Park Avenue. It never disappoints. Comfortable, clean rooms with good bedding and toiletries. The staff are outstanding, really helpful should you have any queries. For example, they don't keep milk in the rooms. We woke early (05:00) pne morning and wanted a cup of tea, but no milk. Went down to reception to see if we could get some from kitchen restaurant. The receptionist asked if we wanted hot or cold milk. Just some cold please...he went to his office, came out with a whole carton and said here you are! Just want some I said, keep it in your fridge for later he replied! Just so friendly and helpful. Outstanding breakfasts.

The hotel is located in a great area to allow exploration of the city on foot. Staff were welcoming and the facilities were clean. I would say it was expensive, but it was commensurate with equally rated hotels across the city. The city is just expensive generally! Lots of local restaurants, bars, cafes. coffee shops, and grocery stores to ensure you have everything you need if you don't want to rely on the hotel-provided supplies. The sauna, steam room, and small pool needs to be booked in advance - this was easy to do on the day at reception. I liked this as it meant you had the place to yourself for an hour without anyone else coming in! There was a good selection at breakfast including everything from cold meats and cheeses to breads, pastries, eggs and bacon and a great selection of teas and juices.

The breakfast at the weekend had more food than on the weekdays. I was looking forward to indulging in the cinnamon cake on the Monday morning and was disappointed it appeared to be a weekend treat. That being said, there is a more than adequate selection for breakfast.

Breakfast was really very good. Staff were super helpful. For example: When I needed a place to sit and work they let me into a large meeting room in the conference section of the hotel. They went out well of their way to be helpful. Much appreciated. Location is about as central and convenient as you can get in Gothenburg.

Rooms are "very standard". Nothing wrong with them per se, as long as you don't expect anything out of the ordinary.

We were on a pedestrian tour of Goteborg/ Breakfast was great. All choices were available, although the breakfast room could get a bit congested. The location is absolutely fantastic. Pretty much everywhere is walkable. Close to the Concert Hall, Museums, The World of Volvo, restaurants of every possible type and price. The main shopping areas, again with enormous choice. Goteborg is a very calm and inviting City.

There was nothing we disliked. Praise indeed.

The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was excellent, the location was great, and the staff was friendly.

We travel a lot, including to Scandinavia, so I compare the hotels we've visited. The bathroom needs renovation, and the extra bed is a rollaway mattress; with a little renovating, it would be much better. The trip was great, the people were friendly, and the surroundings were wonderful. I was a bit disappointed with the gopass, as some things were not available, but despite that, we’ll be back soon ..... for the fifth time!

Well planned rooms with cute small pool & sauna. My kid loved pool very much and wifey loved sauna & thermal bath. We will definitely come again. Very close to Valand / Götaplatsen.

No slippers in the room. One staff told me it was available only for higher class rooms but not regular ones. Would have been nice if there were at least cloth type slippers(flip-flops) available. Bath tub was very slippery.

The location is great! Really close to the airport shuttle bus stop and close enough to the city center to walk almost everywhere. Several museums nearby and some good bars. They also have an amazing continental breakfast with a huge variety of products, and a perfectly slow cooked creamy omelet (if I can call it omelet, It had a flan texture).

I accepted paying more than average so we could use the hotel structure and in the end we didn't. The lobby is quite small and the conference area seemed to be closed. We couldn't find the gym and pool. There were no signs for it when they had a lot of signs for the conference area. You need to book the sauna in advance. The TV has only 10 channels, only one news channel in English and all the rest in Swedish.

- The water pressure in my room was very poor but I informed the staff only at checkout. If I had informed them earlier they would have sent someone to fix it.

Staff were tops! Alexander, was a big help initially when we checked in. Bar/Restaurant with in and out dining and piano bar very nice. Excellent breakfast choices. Location, location!!! Very comfortable bed.

The screaming and noise well into the night on weekends, from the streets below, was a bit much. And we were on the 10th floor, not facing Avenyn directly. No pool, more like spa pool on ship but not a deal breaker.

The room was big and clean.

We were a couple, but the room had single beds that were very uncomfortable and easily separated while we were sleeping. The toilet ventilation was very loud. The toilet was designed for special guests, which made it a bit uncomfortable for us. Considering the price, it was not worth it. We booked a room with a big bed, but the reception informed us that they didn't have the room we reserved. Instead, they offered us a room with many problems, and we couldn't even change it.
