Good hotel .. but it can be bettet

The cleaning was not perfect. For example, We found a pear hidden in between the two beds in our room, a glass in the bathroom that is not clean. The cleaning staff didn’t bring toalett paper while it was needed. Also, in the lobby there were people that are not residents in the hotel and they took over the billiards table and they behaved impolitely against us when we tried to play

I am traveling very often because of my work and I have been as a visitor in many hotels. I give 5 stars to this hotel. This is an amazing hotel! So romantic! I loved it! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was amazing. Free coffee for the visitors and I paid only 60 SEK för the parking/day. I will go again but with my wife next time because I want to share with her my experience.

We were 4 people traveling together. And we were absolutely satisfied with this hotel. Hotel is very stylish, clean. Very kind and helpful staff. Also it’s value for money. There is no such a thing we did not like about this hotel. Next morning breakfast was very enjoyable. All we can say is - Thank you very much!

We have no such a thing to complain about

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel for concerts at Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg. Emailed the hotel and they sent directions to reach by public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a nice gym and indoor racquet sports facilities at the hotel, a billiards table and you can see the horses at the track next door. Basic drinks and snacks are available at reception. Breakfast was included and very good. Our room on the 6th floor was small but comfortable and bright, nice view, good shower and good quality toiletries. There was a kettle for tea-coffee and a large ironing board and iron and a safe. It was very hot and the airconditioning worked well.

You have to take a bus from the airport to Gothenburg, then a train to Mondal and then a bus to the hotel. We used the 72 hours Gothenburg Vastrafik pass which includes Mondal. There are 2 bus stops near the hotel at about 5 minutes walking distance and buses come every 15-20 minutes. Strangely the hotel does not have its name written anywhere - it just says 'Hotel' on the front. No fridge in the room. Ridiculously expensive room rate, probably because of the concerts.

Breakfast, spirit of the hotel, colors combination and the location is very near to the highway. I could imagine how the location seems very beautiful and colorful in the summer.

Your room card is specific to the room floor, so I couldn't have access to other floors to see the drawings on the floor in front of the elevator. I understand it as a security point, but it was disappointing for enjoyment. I liked their themes and the spirit

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We travelled with our dog and everyone was so accommodating. Although dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, we were able to have our breakfast with our dog in the lobby which has good and comfy seating options. Very close to Gothenburg with parking options directly in front of the hotel. Room was also very comfortable with great beds.

We stayed for 3 nights as a couple and we enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and clean and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast was good. It was good value for money, even despite the fact that prices for hotels were quite high that weekend because of the Metallica concerts at Ullevi (which was also the reason we went to Gothenburg).

You cannot open the window so the air conditioning had to be on at all times (I got a nasty cold because of this after I got home).

The breakfast choices were outstanding and the quality of the food, superb!

I had a windowless room, so when I walked into my room for the first time, it was pitch dark. There were no light switches I could use to turn on the lights, and I figured I'd had to use my room access card to 'power' the lights. But from where? No-one at Reception had advised me how to do this! So I switched on my iPhone Torch App and found where to place the card. This I did and the lights came on.

Good, stylish room with a very nice (and big) breakfast. Attention to smaller details, like nice towels etc.. Also, good view from the room that I had.

The overall tivoli/amusement park theme of the hotel may (or may not) be to one's own personal preference. The hotel is situated in a larger building complex close to a horse racing track which, again, (and depending on the purpose of travel) may (or may not be) to one's own liking.

The breakfast was great as well as the gym facilities.

The only thing I didn't like was that the AC in my room was constantly on and I couldn't turn it off. Because of that, I managed to get a sore throat due to it being on whilst I was sleeping.
