The hotel/castle is located in a very tranquil spot. It is close to a lake that is very beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast is exceptional. The castle which is the main building is nicely decorated on the inside. The coffee was quite good and the overall meal experience was very positive.

The website does not tell you that more than half of the rooms are outside the main castle. You walk a bit to get to an entirely different building which pretty much does not have the castle feeling. There are no coffee machines or even a pitcher of water in your room. If you want coffee, you have to wait until the main castle opens at 8 am. It's the first time in my life I stayed at a facility that did not provide some sort of hot beverage in your own room.

Location has very good panorama, silent, there is perfect walking areas around. Breakfast is well. Reeception staff (Morning time) is very helpful, clever and solution finder.

It is not convenient to reach the area,.. Public transport from central train station is hard especially if you travel at night time no body you can find to ask road info so probably you will need taxi to go there. Bad is narrow bad and room is small.There is hair dryer at bathroom but there is no plug to run it.I don't like to have no reception at night to meet you in case of any need.

This hotel is a historic palace with beautiful furnishings and artwork. Most of the hotel rooms are in an addition to the original building, which means they are modern and clean but don't feel like a historic palace. I thought this was a nice balance of getting to feel like I was sleeping in a palace but still having modern bathrooms and amenities. The room had very tall ceilings and blackout curtains to let you sleep when the sun stays up late during the Swedish summer. The neighborhood is great for exploring--forest paths, lake swimming, boat access, etc. It was easy to get there using public transportation. The breakfast was fantastic!

The room was small--very cozy and had everything that I needed, but you shouldn't expect something like a big American hotel room.

Great breakfast, amazing chateau with fine art by classic artists, nice staff, comfortable beds, beautiful natural surroundings, nearby cosy café along the promenade along the waterfront outside, near to train stop, 20 min to city, 15 min to university, 5 min to Näsby centrum centre.

I would prefer more dim and cosier lights and a little quieter and more classical music in the common drawing rooms but that’s just my preference

The restaurant, main lobby of the Slott, and the room in the second modern building of the hotel were nice and comfortable. The people who work there were very friendly and ready to help.

The rooms in the main building «Slott» were worn-out and had a smell. We were grateful that the manager changed our room to a room in the new building.

I traveled alone and decided to stay in this beautiful, magical place, and you know what, I felt like a princess who lives in a castle! I liked the architecture, paintings, sculptures, small details that created a feeling of chic and comfort at the same time. The breakfast was very tasty, so it gave a good charge for the whole day. The bed was airy, I slept very well. In general, I want to say that I will definitely come back and advise my friends to definitely join! We had 4 rooms at The Nasby Slott. We were blown away by the location when we arrived and the awesome greeting from Mette and the front of house team. Great gym (we had it to ourselves). Fantastic breakfast in a lovely library style room. We loved it! Very relaxing place. Comfy beds and rooms

We used taxis to get into central Stockholm areas (20 mins), believe you can get a train though. Just saying it’s not right in the centre but for us, perfect!

Beautiful place all in all - building, terrace, interior, garden, yard. Relaxed atmosphere. Good beds. Had early start so didn't get to experience the breakfast, but did receive coffee and bread to go from the friendly personnel. Pool table and a great living room for hang-around. Pier nearby where you can go swimming into the sea.

Basic room and I think ours was an accessible one so we had some extra space, but the overall feel of the room was a bit odd/basic. Sauna wasn't functioning, but yet the ask for the shared spa space was a normal price (28€) - we didn't take it (sounds quite much over priced to me).

We really liked the friendliness of the staff. Most notably one staff member - Mette - went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as it could be. After something went wrong between the Booking.com and Nasby Slott reservation systems we were accidentally placed in a lower category of room. Mette more than made up for that by moving us and offering us a free dinner. She even cared for our little dog while we went into Stockholm for a boat tour. What great care. This was way beyond the call of duty.

There was a moment of disappointment when we approached the property and saw a lot of new housing development in the vicinity. This feeling evaporated quickly when we took a walk at the lakeside, where the housing was no longer visible and we had the beautiful view of the lake - as we had seen on the website.

The service was exceptionally attentive, beyond to assist us with upgrading our room. The room is newly renovated, spotlessly clean, and offers a beautiful view. Breakfast provides a wide variety of options, and the dinners are exceptional. Highly recommend spending a weekend here!
