Nice hotel with charming interior design and friendly, very personal service from the owners/managers, who were always willing to help out with recommendations for walks/hikes, etc. I felt very welcome. The single room was small, but very bright, with dual aspect and a balcony, as well as a large, comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

The spa lacked charm and atmosphere (despite the cute Finnish sauna in the garden). Everything in the room looked a bit basic and not very inviting, and there were no free drinks. Small bottles of water were available, but at a cost of around 6 CHF, so I always had to go to the toilet to get enough water to drink after the sauna. I'm also not a big fan of those jacuzzi tubs that require a (paid) chip to get started.

The room and balcony were amazing, with great amenities such as the sauna and the hot tubs, which were well needed after hiking lake Oeschinensee. The staff were lovely, they did forgot to give us the travel tickets but upon check out realised the mistake and refunded us what we paid. The breakfast was amazing, with plenty of variation to give you energy throughout the day.

Not part of the hotel but getting there was difficult, especially having travel sickness for the long bus journey.

Hotel Bristol is a perfect hotel for a countryside getaway in the Alps. It is centrally located in Adelboden, very close to one of the ski lifts (5 min walking distance), and just a few minutes from the main street. The hotel is facing west side and you have beautiful views overlooking the mountains. From the top floor you can see Engstligenfälle, a gorgeous waterfall located just 5km from the city center. The hotel is very charming, it is an older building, but very well maintained, with all modern amenities. The hotel staff is very kind and informative. The breakfast is great, and the kitchen and restaurant staff is very hospitable too. Overall our stay was fantastic, and Adelboden is a perfect location from where you can even drive to visit other attractions in the area.

The hotel has limited parking space, so that can be somewhat challenging. We didn't have a problem during our stay, but book the parking in advance in order to ensure a parking spot.

The view from our balcony was just so beautiful that nothing else mattered. The surroundings are walkable, there is a Michelin-starred restaurant 5 minutes walking away, and a Coop supermarket in a few minutes of driving.

The parking slots are limited but that is not something in hands of the hotel. Otherwise, everything was great.

Very nice hotel, clean spacious room with spectacular view. The interiors are very well designed, it was pleasant to spend time there. Tasty breakfast and small but adorable spa. Hotel stuff was the best, they did upgrade our room and overall did their best to make us feel comfortable.

Hotel is located in the center of the village right by the church. Be aware of that if you can’t handle bells at 7 in the morning :)

Everything and everyone was absolutely brilliant. I could find no fault at all even a little one. The staff were amazing, the food was superb, I will be back and fully recommend this hotel to anyone unreservedly.

Nothing at all

Great location, steps away from the bus station and the main street of town. Breakfast was good. One night we ate dinner there and it was very good. Different menu every night. Staff were wonderful.

Bath/shower combo, not my favorite and you could hear some noise (the shutters/blinds) from the room next door but all in all a nice, well run place and we would stay there again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Bristol in Adelboden, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the young men at the reception displayed utmost professionalism and attentiveness. They promptly addressed our request to change the cushion slope, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. One particular highlight was when my wife ordered a cocktail with fresh oranges. The staff member not only fulfilled her request but did so with great care and attention to detail. It was evident that he took pride in providing excellent customer service. He even took the time to check if everything was resolved to our satisfaction. The hotel’s location is superb, situated close to the village center and within easy reach of the stunning waterfalls and surrounding areas. Additionally, the convenience of on-site parking made our stay even more enjoyable. Our room at Hotel Bristol was spacious and thoughtfully equipped with all the necessary amenities. We felt right at home and appreciated the attention given to ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Bristol in Adelboden. The dedicated and professional staff, convenient location, and well-appointed rooms create a delightful experience for any traveler.

First we were greeted by Frederick ( the owners son ) smiling and helpful, carried our luggage up to our room. Parking was available at 10 francs/night , which was a bargain . The room was perfect with a balcony and view of 3 peaks of 3000 meters… the breakfast included was delicious and service in the dining room was excellent.We also had dinner one night, it was delicious and the service was 5 stars . At the reception, a lady ( I’m sorry I don’t remember her name ) was filling in for Mr Frederick on our second day there . She was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped accommodate us in every way possible. I would return to this hotel in a flash !!

No AC , but it didn’t matter much , in June the evening weather is cool .

Everything was fantastic in a fantastic location! Staff made us feel like friends.
