A luxurious hotel located near the center of the town of Spiez and overlooking Lake Thun and Spiez Castle. For car owners, the hotel has a large underground parking lot at a very reasonable cost of 12 francs for 24 hours, but you have to reserve the parking lot in advance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helped us a lot in planning our trip around the Thun and Brienz lakes. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The toilet and shower are separated, so two people can use them at the same time, which saves a lot of time. The breakfast is excellent and rich. The hotel has a heated pool and spa.

The air condition in the room is really ineffective, and the reception staff explained to us that when the temperature outside is below 18 degrees, the air condition in the room stops cooling!! In reality, it was very hot in the room, and we had to sleep with the windows open. The hotel's gym is in a nearby building outside the hotel, and is very poorly equipped.

It's a beautiful hotel, the pictures in here do not make justice. I will go back and recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in this region. 10min away from the train station, there's bus/public transportation available (it's included in the fees you pay). Excellent location to go in the boat through the lake, beautiful restaurant in and out of the hotel. Quiet location to enjoy a peaceful holiday.

bed was too small and not much support on bed and pillow. bathroom is open in the room, not much privacy as the bathroom is not a separate room.

We took a direct train from Milan Central to Spiez. The hotel is an easy 15 minutes stroll downhill from the train station. The view looks down the valley toward the lake a few hundred yards away. The indoor heated pool and spa facilities are wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The ferry is located a short walk down the hill next to a small castle and a lovely herb garden. If you're going towards Interlaken you can take the ferry or it's a quick train ride.

It was always a good hotel, which we liked to visitIt. It has great location, comfortable rooms, good spa area and good restaurant

We go to Eden for 2 major reasons: the spa and the restaurant. Room comfort also plays a role. This time we payed for the room higher price than before and got quite small room with small double bed and tiny bathroom with a sliding door which did not slide well… So I think the room was overpriced Spa was good as usual! We enjoyed 👍 Restaurant: Compared to previous stays we noticed a visible drop in food taste and presentation (we compare chef‘s menu at dinner) and restaurant service overall. It seems that the restaurant crew has changed

This is a beautiful hotel set in an even more beautiful town of Spiez. We were made to feel very welcome even though we were not perhaps the usual hotel guests as we were looking to explore the area - this is a hotel for those that want to relax by with the spa and watch the world go by. We wished we had used the EV charging and perhaps missed this in the description. Rooms were big and well cleaned - apples in the corridor were welcome and we may have had most of them!! Breakfast was excellent but we could not dare adventure to the dinner.

The design & decoration of the room is excellent. However the bed & pillow are too soft. The BFS was also excellent with variety of food. The location & environment was superb as there was the beautiful garden to walk and also the pier was not very far. We were impress in the warm and nice service in the restaurant.

The staff always made me feel welcome and appreciated, very personable and lots of attention to detail. Special thanks to Alex ant the front desk and Roman at the Spa for their kindness. The spa is wonderful and included with great sauna and steam and a very good size panoramic pool. The feel of the hotel is elegant and classic. Wonderful piano music with dinner. Incredible breakfast with wonderful staff.

There is no separate bathroom in the room ( I guess it’s design feature) but I really don’t like it. You can hear everything and it’s not convenient to use at all. Please redesign your room for the future. It makes your hotel really nice .

The staff were so friendly and helpful, they tried very hard to fulfill all my needs and requests. Everything was super well maintained and comfortable. The spa area is also super comfortable. Breakfast was also great and with a huge options. I’ve nothing to fault the hotel.

The pillow is really soft, would have been nice to have a pillow with better support.

The staff both at the reception and in the dining hall were very friendly and helpful. The spa and wellness area were very well equipped - enjoyed this very much. The restaurant was excellent: a very enjoyable and carefully-prepared 4-course meal for a very reasonable price! An extra plus was that there was a full vegetarian menu (3 to 5 courses), and not just a meat menu leaving out the meat. Highly recommended!

We selected the least expensive "comfort room" and the bed was not terribly comfortable: the mattress "sunk" a bit in the middle so was not the most comfortable to sleep in. Too bad as the room was fine otherwise! Perhaps just a mattress that needs renewing... The coffee at breakfast was okay, but not great (one cup sufficed - good coffee available in the room though...). My wife and I both appreciate a good cup of coffee, so this is something for the suggestion box. Otherwise, a very nice stay. Would certainly consider returning.
