The hotel is exactly 1km (upward) from the Lake Thun so it was a good thing we had car to drive up and down. There were also 02 EV charging spots right near the lake side, so it was good to have it when our car needed charging urgently. As for the property, rooms are spacious, staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They helped us with everything we asked for, so even though it was a bit hot (31 C in June 2025), they provided us with a table fan. There's also a Supermarket (Coop) within 50m of this hotel so if you need anything, you can just go there (except on Sundays, when it's closed). The hotel is located at a place such that it allowed us to explore both ends of Lake Thun and even go as far as Lucern and Grindelwald (one place a day) and come back the same night. It was way more convenient this way than booking multiple hotels across regions.

Breakfast could have been better. Even though there were choices, sometimes, some items were unavailable, making it difficult to get something. Also, their coffee machine definitely needs an upgrade. The price felt bit steep but that's probably on us, booking at the last moment. Would definitely recommend if the prices were slightly better.

The rooms was good, staff were great and very helpful and accommodating. The cleanliness is great. We had several meals in the restaurant is it is highly recommended.

The room had no view. We could only see the back end of the building behind the hotel. Their superior rooms were all booked so we could not upgrade. Also, the curtains did nothing to block the sun. We would wakeup really early because of that (and the window is almost the entire wall because its a glass balcony

The breakfast was delicious. We missed pastries and hot foods but we really did enjoy the atmosphere. The area was beautiful and relaxing. You can experience real Swiss life here. The balcony off our bedroom was wonderful. The food at the restaurant was delicious! The rooms were clean! The staff was friendly!

The property needs updated as a whole. We could feel the springs through the mattress and the showers could be made larger and more accommodating. There’s no A/C so we would leave the balcony door open at night to let some cool air in. It would be nice having a coffee pot in the room but not necessary. Having said this, the good outweighed the not so good and we left feeling refreshed.

Everything was great. The location was good. It was clean. The staff helped us in warming our food even when it was late.

There was no fan or Air conditioning in the room and it was hot.. We opened the windows to sleep at night which help a bit. We traveled in June. Considering the Global change in weather, at least fan should be installed. Public transport is not near.

Nice terrace where we enjoyed a nice dinner and drinks. Beautiful view. We want to send a big thank you to the hotel staff. The battery in our car was flat and the hotel staff was very friendly and assisted us in getting our car jump-started. They did it all with a smile and were very helpful.

This hotel is spotless! The decor is a little dated, but it is very clean, and not shabby. The breakfast was adequate, no complaints. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great, just what we wanted. The only down side was no air conditioning. It was warm, but we just slept with a window open, so not an issue. Hotel location is lovely with stunning views. Plenty of parking too.

They managed my booking of three rooms when I missed the due date of August 3; during my booking, those three rooms were booked because my phone calendar was confused. They understood the situation, and they solved it by asking me to stay with the after two days, from August 4 to August 5.

They charged me a deposit of 698 CHF, but nothing has been received since I checked out (August 7). I called them to expedite the payment, but they did not fix the problem and asked me to contact booking.com instead.

Hotel is centrally located in a very scenic place, so it was easy to get around to some of the popular tourist destinations in Thun and Interlaken. Staff were extremely kind and helpful.

Lack of air conditioning, especially during the summer. Pillows were a bit uncomfortable. Can consider some facility enhancements

The "Adler" is located in a beutiful traditional viliage overlooking great views. It is roomy and spacious and has about 30 parking spaces reserved for it's guests - more than enough. Breakfast was essential yet of very good quality. While in the Adler we needed some advice and help - and it was forthcoming immediatlely, diligently and effectivly. Frau Esther was very helpful and gave us a glimps into the social advantages of real swiss village life.

A great stay. Very friendly,attentive, and helpful staff. The 2 double rooms were very comfy and spacious. Nice balcony. Super breakfasts. The in-house restaurant served delicious and well presented Swiss dinners. A lovely village with wonderful views of Lake Thun and the surrounding Alpine Peaks. We so enjoyed our stay..
