Lovely, quiet place to stay after a hectic 2 weeks in Paris, Antibes and Milan. BEAUTIFUL view, on the lake with lots of seating available to just sit and watch. Beach area very small and very rocky but still managed to do a little swimming. Unfortunately was not able to book a massage, poor timing on my part..no one available. Complimentary breakfast was lovely and restaurant and bar were very good. Restaurant staff very accommodating to our large group.

Staffing up for more massage availability would be helpful. Easier lake access for swimming would have been appreciated.

Beautiful location on Lake Thun and beside the ferry terminal and bus stop. Hotel was old style and elegant with large rooms and high ceilings. Bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Some nice little restaurants and a small supermarket close by

The breakfast was included and was good but not great. Strange arrangement with a glass door (albeit with a separate curtain) into the toilet and bathroom

The view is world-class

Everything was great. More funny than annoying, but the bartenders seemed stumped on every drink order - even when I ordered the "Parkhotel Favorite" off the menu. I ordered that three times (to make it easy on them) and received two different drinks. All drink orders were a basically a surprise. ;)

A lovely hotel that is beautifully maintained and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had nice weather when there and took advantage of the large outdoor area that overlooks the lake. Plenty of comfortable seating and an outdoor bar where you can get excellent drinks. Dining here is expensive, but a block away is an affordable restaurant with delicious Italian focused food. We had a car while there which was helpful as this is not in the midst of a big town. I believe the bus stops right by the hotel though.

The front desk people during the daytime were so helpful. The gentleman there at night was just the opposite--would not even give us a bottle of water among other things.

The hotel is very beautiful and the terrace and gardens are wonderful , situated right on the lake. Breakfast is exceptional and staff are here to help. the room was comfortable and I had a great view of the lake. The restaurant is exceptional.

The SPA only had sauna available, the jacuzi didn't work (or wasn't open). There were no kettle in the rooms.

Everything was excellent to the smallest detail. I wish we had more time to spend here. Room didn't have the lake view but apart from that everything else was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa is great with view of the lake. Own free car park is a big plus as well.

This is a very sweet hotel, located right on the lake in Gunten. Had a very comfortable stay: the rooms were spacious, clean, and well suited for a good price. The spa is amazing - the little boathouse has great saunas and direct access to the lake if you fancy a quick dip in both winter and summer time. There’s also a fully functioning spa available and a nice selection of treatments. It’s a perfect place for a winter weekend getaway from the city. They also have a great restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, the food was well priced and really didn’t disappoint with the selection. The staff were very polite and attentive - they made me feel very welcome and answered all questions promptly. It was a lovely first stay and I’ll definitely be back for more and recommend to family and friends

Everything was just perfect from the very first minute. Rooms extremely clean. Towel change every day, friendly staff and wonderful view from the back of the hotel. Will return for sure! 😍

Lovely room, location perfect - beautiful and convenient right on the bus line.

Shower doors didn’t close tightly and water got all over the floor, making the floor slippery and the mat was not adequate. No ac. Thank goodness for the fan

The hotel is just amazing as it shows in the photos, the room with balcony has a stunning view in the morning when the sun rises, the mattress is so comfortable that I slept so well. The spa facilities just in the lake, after a hot spa and sauna you can step in the lake from the stairs directly, this is amazing. Strongly recommended!
