The hotel was central, clean and the staff was ok.

The bed ... not a queen/double bad, awful because was about only 140 cm large .... the breakfast ? Omg !!! Awful as well. Every morning was the same, 2 tipes of cheese, 2 tipes of salami and 3 tipes of yogurt (3 different fruits) oh, and because we were in the period before their Easter, some left coloured eggs, very very cold served in the 5th 6th 7th day after the holiday ! Not a single hot dish, an scrabled egg, an sausage, an english breakfast or something international to eat, or anything warm .... Was very very lame and disapointed !!!

room view for room with lake view - it was really nice. Breakfast was also very good.

staff at the reception when we checked in: we traveled a long way and she said she can only give us 1 min as there were other people behind us - and I booked 5 rooms! very expensive for such treatment. also asked us to go around the building (when it was raining) for 2 of the 5 rooms but found out later there is actually a connecting access from inside the building! I guess she really didnt have time for us to show us around.

Recently renovated,spotlessly clean,very comfy beds. Really nice breakfast and a fantastic location-close to the lake and in a very peaceful area. The staff were really helpful and the hotel had a very nice feel to it.

The shower area was exposed to the rest of the room and the balconies are all joined up with other rooms so the privacy aspect isn’t great. Staff were not keen for you to eat your breakfast on the terrace which is a shame as it overlooks parts of the lake.

Room was bigger than in most hotels with a partial view of the lake. A washing machine is available for guests to use for a small fee which was very welcome. Breakfast had a wide selection

It was not shown when we booked that this is primarily a conference/training hotel which meant that some facilities such as bar/restaurant/coffee shop are not provided. Sound insulation between rooms seemed poor

Perfect hotel to stay for a few days. Parking facilities and on 15 min walking distance (hilly) from railway station. Close to public swimming and sport facilities. Nice restaurants in neighborhood (also hilly 15 minutes walk). Option for rental 2 electric bikes. Stay includes Panoramacard Thunersee for free bus travel and some discounts.

We really missed tea, coffee facilities in the room. And preferably a fridge.

Clean modern hotel with self service laundry facilities

Some of the rooms are tiny - my husband had to crawl over me to get off the double bed bc it was up against the wall and the bathroom is about the size of a train bathroom… My kids room was bigger though. We had paid for room with view of the lake, but instead open to a side street where we couldn’t even open our blinds or we’d loose all our privacy. Breakfast is just cold bread and cheese - not worth the price at all. If you are traveling by train, it’s a hike up to the station with alleys and stairs not always suitable for rolling suitcases

Location was good and parking was well provided. The room layout was a little like a room in a university, but worked okay for us. A very clean and well maintained hotel. Would visit again.

Bed too near the desk, difficult to exit.

from the boat port walk to the facility is little tough.... 15min with mountain road with luggage ,you can imagine ,if hotel can have small shuttle it will be perfect

The staff were outstanding. We arrived early before our room was ready, stored our bags and walked into Spiez. We were given our panorama cards so we could get a discounted entrance to the castle and the member of staff we spoke to offered us suggestions for places to eat and drink. When we came back we were shown to our room, and where to eat breakfast. We asked about the laundry (the website says facilities for guests to do laundry are available), we were shown the laundry room and how to use the washing machine and tumble drier. Throughout our stay the staff on reception and in the dining room were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble, everyone was willing to help and do their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Our room was a bit narrow, but perfectly acceptable - the lovely view towards the lake compensated!

Everything was perfect. I left the terrace curtain and door open all night while I slept to feel the fresh air and watch the sunrise. The view and the experience were magical.

I don’t have any negative comments.
