I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Celina at the front desk, who was incredibly kind and helpful. Our car had some issues during our stay, and Celina went above and beyond to assist us. She used her local language skills to contact a local car rental company and even helped us plan an alternative solution. Her thoughtfulness and dedication truly made our experience so much better. Celina’s mother is in charge of the breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious! The homemade jam and pies were the highlights of our morning meals. Her father also went out of his way to help us by driving to a distant supermarket to buy a spare battery for our car. Their entire family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel like we were part of their home. If you’re planning a trip to Interlaken or Grindelwald, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It’s conveniently located with easy access to public transportation to these scenic areas, and driving is also very convenient. But the best part has to be the amazing view from the room’s balcony—it’s truly breathtaking and adds a special touch to your stay. In summary, this hotel is a hidden gem, and the family who runs it is simply wonderful. I can’t wait to return!

The location was amazing, make sure you have a room with a view, it’s simply stunning! The property is well maintained, the rooms are neat and clean and the staff is incredibly attentive. The manager called me even after reception hours to fix an issue I had messaged about, super helpful! The booking, messages and other communication was super smooth, as was check in and check out. I’d love to come back here one day, if only for the amazing breakfast. Possibly the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, definitely the best on this trip. The view from the restaurant and especially the terrace lifted the whole experience to another level. Would 100% recommend to stay here. Celine and the team are the best! 🤍

Location, location, location! This gem of a lodge, nestled in the beautiful and tranquil area of Aeschi bei Spiez is close enough to the much visited Interlaken area to easily reach within 20minutes, but far enough to escape the hordes of tourists that overcrowd the Interlaken valley. The views from the lodge, as well as from the private balconies of each room, are spectacular! This family owned and operated lodge has been recently renovated with beautiful cozy, yet modern, interiors featuring wooded decor and brand new furnishings/fixtures. Our host, Celine, was so friendly, kind, and personable! We didn't even realize she was the owner until we stared talking about the history of the lodge, which was built by her grandfather. Celine treated us like family, and even made dinner reservations for us at a nearby excellent restaurant. Our breakfast was amazing, along with the service. I highly recommend Bergblick Lodge for the perfect escape to the foothills of the picturesque Bernese Alps!

Wish we would have planned a longer stay.

This place exceeded our expectations—it’s even better than the photos! The region is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful mountains, and the breakfast area offers a breathtaking view while you enjoy delicious local food. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and there’s plenty of parking available at the accommodation. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire place was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added a magical touch to our stay. They even prepare fresh eggs for you at breakfast! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely return!

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights with my dog. I luckily got upgraded room to a larger, direct access to the terrace. It was very spacious, bed mattress was new and comfortable, all the facilities were renovated so the cleanliness was excellent. The surrounding view was exceptionally beautiful, and there were plenty of walking courses. Breakfast was made with local ingredients which is great,small but filling. All the staff were friendly, especially the owner, Celine. She was very professional and friendly. Thank you for her warm hospitality.

This hotel is in a beautiful traditional chalet in the countryside with mountain views in all directions, making you feel you are in the heart of the Alps. The rooms have recently been renovated and are very modern inside, with clean and comfortable furnishings. Breakfast is provided and is full of many Swiss meats and cheeses, all from the local area and delicious. The host Céline is very personable and was willing to assist with anything from hiking suggestions to general information. She and her staff have really made this stay memorable. It's also close to the action with Lake Thun, Interlaken and the Jungfrau mountains all a short distance away. And it's easily reachable by bus a short distance to the station. Overall I highly recommended the Bergblick Hotel and will certainly consider staying here again next time I am in Switzerland!

There is a bus service to the hotel but it does not run very late. A more frequent bus service stops 15 minutes away in the village centre however, but it's not ideal with a lot of luggage.

We have been staying in different places over the last week while in Europe. We have been in hotels, Airbnb, and B&B. Bergblick Lodge surpasses all of them!!! The staff was kind and welcoming. The lodge is located in a beautiful plateau beneath the Alps and the lodge itself is a work of art. It was handcrafted by the owner’s grandfather! The room were spotless as well as the rest of the lodge. That is saying a lot, because I am a “germaphobe”:). I really cannot say enough about this place. It is absolutely perfect!!!

Celine was open, friendly, and pro. I think she is one of the best hostesses I've met. We wanted exactly such a location: a quiet mountain-view chalet. So It was 10/10. Celine even gave us he mobile phone for emergencies, hopefully everything was ok. For breakfast, we had the local farmer's dairy products, tasty and delightful, and of course breakfast with mountain view. We relaxed as we planned, thanks.

Not a big deal, but parking was paid. Not big money, but I didn't see a notification in advance. That's all.

Our stay at the charming cottage in Bergblick Lodge - 3 Sterne Garni - Neueröffnung was nothing short of perfect. The cottage itself was immaculate, combining traditional alpine charm with modern comforts. Nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes, it was the ideal retreat for anyone looking to escape into nature while still enjoying all the amenities of a high-end stay. Céline, our host, truly elevated the experience. Her deep knowledge of the local attractions helped us discover hidden gems that we would have otherwise missed. From scenic hikes to quaint villages, her recommendations were spot-on and made our trip unforgettable. Her parents were equally wonderful, offering warm hospitality that made us feel like part of the family. They were always ready with a friendly smile, eager to ensure that every detail of our stay was perfect. Their love for the region was infectious, and it was clear that they took great pride in maintaining the cottage to the highest standards.

Really nice place to spend some time close by to all the attractions of the "Berner Oberland". Celine offered us a upgrade to a more comfortable room ... with a nice balcony and a view into the surrounding nature, totally quiet, and with almost all comfort (see below). Breakfast in the morning in an amazing room with a stunning view on the famous Niesen - the mountain just oposite of Aeschi. On the buffet you can find a large variety of local specialities; including a homemade "Birchermüesli" (delicious!). Celine gives you all the tips to spend some really nice time in the surroundings. A place worth to go ...
