The hotel was excellent...we had an excellent room with 2 king sized beds and a very accessible and fully equipped kitchen. The building had a quite nice, and traditional Swiss look. Our breakfast at this hotel was excellent, and Mudasir (the hotel manager) was very proficient with serving and providing all our needs for breakfast The location of this hotel is quite well placed, as there is very little noise from the street, and Interlaken is just 10 minutes by car from there. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a decent, and spacious room with the extra advantage of a kitchen.

Happy to have found this lovely quiet hotel right on the lake a 2 minute walk from the train station (No train noise, despite our window facing the station! ! ! ). We booked the least expensive room and it was small, but comfortable and excellent value. It was very thoughtfully furnished. We were welcomed by the owner who obviously cares are his hotel and works hard to make it feel welcoming. I loved having a small fluffy throw to keep warm sitting on my balcony. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Omlet was an added plus. In nice weather wonderful opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the lake and mountains. We ate dinner in the restaurant and both of us loved the food - Excellent chef! We were able to take our laptop to the restaurant on the ground floor and plan our next days activities comfortably. Loved the personal service!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was maintained every day. The location is excellent for visiting many nearby attractions, right in front of the train station. The sunsets were phenomenal. The staff was very friendly, helping us with any questions and very responsive. The breakfasts was incredibly delicious. We will lovingly return again.

We absolutely loved our stay! From the beginning till the end of our stay we’ve had all the support we needed, everything was perfect! Wanted to add a special thanks to Mr. Modaser who was very receptive and helped us out with everything we needed, also giving us great tips on places to visit and to eat! Not to mention the Hotel’s breakfast that was amazing and always fresh! We loved it. The hotel is really cozy and has a great view of the lake. Bus stop right at the front, parking on the premises and also just a quick drive from Interlaken. Pretty convenient and easy. I dream of coming back to Switzerland one day, and if I do, will definitely be back at Hotel Rosengärtli!

Amazing bed & breakfast, extremely kind staff, and amazing view of lake Thun from our room. In a very quiet town, with easy bus service to Spiez (train station) and Interlaken. Breakfast is fantastic, and even though we had to leave early one morning, the staff still prepared a breakfast to-go and kept it in the fridge for us to take the next morning on our way out. Highly recommend this stay.

All the staffs were very helpful and reachable. Location is truly amazing, easily reachable from Interlaken Ost and Spiez, by bus number 60. Breakfast was good. Mudasir was awesome, and the Lady who served the breakfast in the morning was very kind and generous. Would definitely love to go back.

Staff friendly and accommodating. Specifically obtained gluten-free bread for me. Nice breakfast with fresh made cappuccinos. Room small but clean with firm mattress and nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. Bus stop just outside the door for quick 20 minute access to Interlakken OST to the mountains.

Had to carry own luggage up a flight of stairs.

Modasa and his family /staff were very friendly and accommodating hosts; lakeside location, excellent transport links, convenient location, accommodation and restaurant, parking.

At first sight the train station and bus stop might not seem ideal. But it really didn't bother us and meant an excellent lakeside view plus the transport links.

The breakfast was fantastic. Very filling and sufficient. The view is breathtaking and it is so peaceful. There is a hiking route right from the hotel which was amazing. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel and that was super convenient.

The hotel page on booking.com shows electric car charging facility but unfortunately they don't have it so it would be great to correct it for future guests. Otherwise everything is great !

Clean and practical rooms with a view of Lake Thun, Modaser is a lovely host, breakfast was plenty and well served. The bus stop- Leissegen Bahnoff is put up right outside the hotel : bus 60 to and from Spiez station is free with the guest card, super convenient to travel across Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald.
