Comfy beds, great views of the lakes, friendly staff, good breakfast. great value for money

It’s outside of interlaken..there is a bus station right next to the hotel but bus service stops at 19.00. Realistically you need a car to move around.

Very well priced and right next to the lake. There is a restaurant 10 mins walk down the road. Breakfast is served at the hotel with a lovely balcony view. When you arrive at the main door there is a doorbell if the door is locked. I made the mistake of not noticing the doorbell and was walking around thinking there was another door. Google maps does not take you to the hotel via the address so be careful because it's a steep hill Google takes you down at the lake. Put the hotel name in Google and not the address and the hotel name takes Google maps to the hotel.

The location is great, right off the main road, and the bus stops right in front of the hotel. There is plenty of parking to choose from. The view from our room was great. The breakfast was fantastic, and the old lady who runs the place was gracious enough to prepare a full breakfast for us, including coffee, the night before when we told her we'd be leaving super early in the morning, well before breakfast starts

The wifi in our room was pretty weak, we had to step out if we needed to use it. The shower was two floors above our room, which wasn't a concern for us but something to be aware of

Breakfast was sort of less than perfect; even eggs were served as half each (lol) Wifi wasn't working on that day.

I loved the service provided by the owner. I had booking to go to Top of Europe early morning at 730 am and breakfast was provided at 8 am. I notified the staff same and he managed to give me breakfast day before at 9 pm which was very touchy and won my heart as if they cared about us as their own. Very scenic view from window.

It was almost 20 minutes bus from Interlaken OST train station for which we received free pass by hotel to travel which was also plus point as when I reached hotel, I had to pay Frank 8.

Breakfast was simple but very nice. The older couple who own and run this place are lovely and provide very good service. We upgraded to a "room with a view" and it was the best view we've ever had! So beautiful and serene, and the little balcony was a great spot to take it all in.

We paid an extra 50 euro per night to upgrade to the bigger room with a view and its own bathroom. The view was spectacular, but the bathroom was tiny and, although clean, could do with an upgrade. Brown tiles, yuck.

This place is run by the same couple for 45 years. The room had a spectacular view of the lake and was very large. The owners are very accommodating and answered all our questions. The breakfast was very good.

We loved this place. It's out of town, so you have to take a 10-min bus ride to Interlaken if you want to eat lunch or dinner. They do not have their restaurant open anymore. We bought food from the local grocery.

The old couple who runs the place is very friendly. The hotel is situated right in front of the bus stop and the beaut caves is in walking distance. Room had really nice lake views and a lovely back garden.

The room was small and (since it is an old property) had basic facilities. The breakfast was very simple and not much choice but can't complain.

The location is superb, very near to Thun lake and walking distance (30 minutes) from St. Beatus Cave. Free parking space is very convenient. The fairy stop of Thun lake is also very near. Hotel provided us the 'guest card' which we have used in a public transport. Bus 21 from the bus stop, just near to the hotel, takes you to the Interlaken West and Ost.

Cozy stay. Caring and understanding caretakers. Breakfast was sufficient. View from the Restuarant (Lake View) was beautiful. Excellent parking facilities.

Would have preferred Lake View room. About 5 kms away from Interlaken West station, but if you've a Car, shouldn't be a problem.
