The property is in a beautiful location. The view was amazing from the balcony. The attention to detail in everything was commendable.The room smelled great and clean! The owners and staff were very warm and made us very comfortable. The breakfast was very fresh and tasty. There were fresh cut fruits instead of canned fruits as in other hotels! Over all one of the best hotels we have stayed across europe!

The views were breathtaking, absolutely enchanting. The attention to detail in decor and furnishings was beautiful and cozy, the little things like fleece blankets on the patio chairs and fresh wild flowers on each table. The customer service was so impressive, we felt the love - it seems that they love what they do and are just sharing their passion and home with us. And now, let’s talk food! WOW!!!! Again, the attention to detail was perfection- the carefully selected local and fresh ingredients, homemade goodies (the bitter orange jam was my favorite). We ate breakfast each morning and had one dinner, flavorful delight! And the location- fantastic. Close enough to easily get to all the tourist destinations in the area, but far enough where it was serene and peaceful and felt like a true private get away. I could keep going, gosh - I want to go back one day! They gave us bus passes for Interlaken. Easy parking. Sparkling clean rooms. My expectations were exceeded. It was majestic.

The views from this hotel are absolutely amazing, (Room 17). Situated high on the hillside above Lake Thunersee, Interlaken, you can see for miles over the high peaks of the Alps, including the Eiger. The location is very peaceful and we spent all of our time, when we were in the room, sat on the balcony admiring the view, which changes every 30 minutes. We slept with the curtains open so we could wake up with the sun rising and enjoy the early morning splendour of the Alps. The room itself was large and had a good sized balcony that could easily seat 4, and included a small table and 2 chairs. It was spotlessly clean (including the shower), the beds were very comfortable, and included all the facilities we would normally expect, including tea and coffee making. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and the food was of excellent quality, the best we had in Switzerland, and also reasonably priced. Our hosts Jackie and Bernhard were very friendly and attentive. They both took the time to stop by our dining table to ask if everything was good with the food and our rooms and it was interesting to hear their story of how they ended up running a hotel in Switzerland. We felt very much at home and relaxed in this family run hotel.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Gloria Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely polite, attentive, and helpful. Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered a spectacular view of the lake that made every morning feel special. The hotel itself is very chic and elegant, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A special mention goes to the owners, Bernard and Jackie, who went above and beyond to make us feel truly at home. Their kindness and hospitality turned our stay into an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and genuine hospitality!

Cosy and beautiful!! The view from our balcony didn’t even look real, the room was very spacious but still felt so homey!!! The staff were so kind and helpful, one of the owners was Australian like us; it was so nice to chat to her and her husband about life, travels and Switzerland, they even left some vegemite out for us at breakfast! The hotel has a restaurant open a few nights; the food was delicious and a lovely atmosphere with beautiful flowers and views to go with it! We were given a public transport card too for our stay- for the buses and a discount on the gondola in Beatenberg which was very helpful! I would recommend staying here 100x over, everything was exceptional!

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. From the moment I arrived, they were attentive and eager to assist with any needs or questions I had. Their warm hospitality made me feel very welcome, and their local knowledge was invaluable in planning my daily excursions. The rooms were immaculate, with fresh linens and well-maintained facilities. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping everything spotless throughout my stay, which contributed to a comfortable and pleasant environment. One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view of the lake from my room. Waking up to the sight of the shimmering waters and the surrounding mountains was truly a treat. The picturesque scenery added a magical touch to my stay and provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The breakfast offered at the hotel was satisfying, with a good variety of options to choose from. Fresh fruits, pastries, and a selection of cold meat and cheese ensured a great start to the day. The quality of the food was excellent, and the dining area was clean and inviting. Despite the slight distance from the main attractions, the friendly staff, high standard of cleanliness, stunning lake views, and satisfying breakfast made it a memorable experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant stay in Interlaken.

The location of the hotel is a bit removed from the main attractions of Interlaken. However, this slight distance provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere, away from the hustle. The hotel is easily reachable by car, which was convenient for me. If you have your own transportation, this location actually becomes a plus, offering a tranquil retreat after a day of sightseeing.

Hotel Gloria is set in a fantastic location, high above Interlaken, with exceptional views over Lake Thun. Our room was clean and tidy, and the view from the balcony was amazing. The breakfast was excellent - lovely local produce - and it was really nice to receive a visit from Bernard, who gave us some good tips for different local driving experiences! We shall definitely be returning to try these out!

Nothing - we had a great stay, but wished we were staying longer!

Wonderful place near Interlagen in a small mountainside village. This is an authentic family run Alps guesthouse having a cosy restaurant and tastefully furnished parlour. We stayed in a nicely renewed spacious room with small balcony having a marvellous view to the lake and the hills. Owner and staff were very friendly and attentive. Trekking routes are close to the hotel as well as a station of Niederhorn Gondola Cable Car. I specially thank the owner and hotel staff for the special attention and support I have got during those bad days of my sickness, that knocked me down out of the blue for several days. Perfect service from really warm hearted people.

No fridge in the room.

We stayed for a few nights and everything was perfect. The staff were extremely kind, always smiling and very helpful. They were also amazing with the kids, which made our stay extra special. The hotel is about 15 minutes by car from Interlaken, in a quiet spot on a small hill—great for relaxing while still being close to the town. Our room had a beautiful view, especially during sunset. Very clean, calm, and comfortable overall. We’d love to come back again!

1) Staff, especially, Erica who took care of us during breakfast, is outstanding. 2) View is stunning as depicted in the photos. Very slightly blocked view from the bldg in front of Hotel Gloria (looking at Lake Thun) but not enough to not create a wow view. 3) We took bus 101 to/from Intelaken West <-> Beatenberg (get off Hubel stop), about a 30 minute commute either way. When you get off Hubel stop, there is no signage as to where Hotel Gloria is. Walk across the street and HG is a one minute walk EAST (left) and it is on the right hand side. 4) We used this location as a base to go to Grindelwald for a day-trip.

Bathroom was little small and a bit outdated but very functional. Everything else was great. Room was very clean, well appointed and again, the view is hard to beat.
