Lovely friendly and clean hotel. Just a little outside the city but only 5 minutes on the bus from the train station and you get a guest pass allowing free travel and the public transport system is very efficient. Personally we preferred this quieter location. The room was lovely, beds comfy and great shower. Spa access included and we enjoyed taking a dip in the hot tub and relaxing in the steam room after a long day exploring the mountains. Food in the restaurant was superb, the menu doesn’t have a massive choice which I was initially worried about as a somewhat fussy eater however I really enjoyed the pasta, absolutely delicious. Breakfast was also very nice, if I’m being picky I’d say there wasn’t much variety compared to other hotels however what was on offer was good. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. When booking I looked at several hotels in Interlaken and I’m really glad I went for this one, I was nervous about the transport situation before arriving but it’s really very simple and definitely worth the hassle. We would absolutely love to return

We loved this place--it was so cute and relaxing. I wish we had booked an additional night. The area is beautiful too. I definitely took advantage of the steam room and sauna, and the small pool outside. The included breakfasts were fantastic, it was hard not to eat too much. We had also booked dinner there and it was so good we booked again the next night. The products in the bathroom and spa smelled wonderful, we bought some to take home. :)

From our particular room, we could hear a bit of noise. we were very close to the reception desk. Probably the other rooms didn't have this issue.

Absolutely fantastic location. Other places we looked at didn’t come close! The area is so close to the town centre where you can find plenty of shops and nice picture locations. It’s also very central - activities that you pre book can be all reached within an hours’ drive. Take the staff recommendations, none let us down and they were slower and not touristy!

No 24/7 reception (which is fine given the location, if you’re arriving at Zürich airport, ensure your flight is an earlier one - it’s a 2.5 hour drive)

This place is wonderful. The spa facilities are so nice especially after a day of hiking in the alps. The staff were all fantastic. They are super helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful with stunning views and a balcony. The restaurant was yummy. The free breakfast was delicious and had so much to offer. They gave a a pass so the bus was free. Interlaken is a beautiful town and the area the salzano is located had so many paragliders it was fun to watch. There were some nice roads to walk behind the hotel that brings you to the river as well as we did walk to town and back. It’s basically perfect.

The only down side is that you are a few minutes from town. We decided to rent a car on the second day ( not because of the hotel location) but because we wanted more flexibility. However it was nice not to have to catch the bus to get to the train.

It is a lovely property, situated next to a very beautiful large lake. The rooms are in excellent condition and the beds are really comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and the hotel has set up an app which has all information for the region plus gives you a card to travel on local transport. The hotel’s spa is better than many 5* hotels I have seen. The hotel is conveniently located next to a bus stop which you can use to take services directly into Interlaken in 4 minutes. The restaurant is one of the best I have ever tried and is reasonably priced. You can really tell the owners (which are present at the property) really take care of their business and it is a pleasure to experience in this age of corporate impersonality.

Traditional Swiss styling. All wood with wonderful floral balconies. Marvellous views. Fantastic dinners but breakfasts could have been better. Staff outstanding in both their welcoming attitude and knowledge of their country. Free bus service for tourists operates from nearby stop. Electric car charger and dedicated Tesla destination charger at the front of the hotel.

Further from the town than expected. Few power points, only one accessible and no air conditioning , so incredibly hot. Hotel has a lot of wasps and other insects around the dining area . Jams, preserves and especially the honey at breakfast naturally attracted them and as they are all open jars there were loads of them in the food. I got stung sitting outside the forest night.

We absolutely loved the spa and our massages. The spa was clean, quiet, relaxing and has an amazing view especially at sunset. Our rooms were basic, but had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The front desk workers were so helpful and friendly. They gave us ideas on things to do and places to go. We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was delicious! It is outside of Interlaken, so it's quiet, but it is an easy walk or drive into town. My friends and I have talked about going back- highly recommend!

We loved the staff and their friendliness, including the owner that checked to make sure our stay was wonderful.. It is close to the bus station, so that was a plus to go into Interlaken to catch the trains. The breakfast was plentiful as well. 'The view is lovely!

At breakfast time the Chafing dish with the Scrambled eggs was basically gone with only a few shreds left; there was another hour left of service so I mentioned it to the staff that was checking on the food. He just shrugged and did nothing. We stayed 3 days and it happened 2 of those days, so that wasn't great.

We spent a few wonderful days on Silvester eve there and we have chosen the hotel because of the wellness and the size of the hotel. It is a cosy, family guided hotel with excellent hotel staff. The breakfast proviveded us with everything like cheese, ham, jam, bred, yoghurt, cornflakes, fruits and much more. For dinner it was also a great experience and really excellent. The wellness was very well equipped and provided enough space, just wonderful. We thank the family and the staff Salzano for those wonderful days! If coming back in this area, we will be your guest again.

There is nothing we should mention.

Hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by stunning views of the mountains. We stayed here as a break in our road trip and the highlight was breakfast on the patio looking out at the stunning scenery. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome, giving us a room upgrade. We saw a lot of people outside leaving to hike or with skis, so I imagine it's a convenient location for that too.
