We had a spacious room on the second floor, bed was very comfortable, wifi worked great, showers were nice and hot. The hotel is entirely self check in and everything was really easy to do thanks to great communication from the host. There was a communal kitchen on the ground floor which was awesome for cooking dinner on those days when we wanted to save some money. Location was right in the middle of town which was nice and just around the corner from the owners wine bar/cafe. They ever gave us a free coffee voucher for every night of our stay which was very generous.

Kitchen could use some communal salt/pepper as when you’re travelling it’s kind of hard to buy those things to carry with you. Double bed had two single doonas which is unusual for us but it seems to be common in Switzerland, wasn’t really an issue though.

Affordable and location was great! We booked one of the apartments and it was pretty good-sized and well-equipped. We appreciated having our own kitchen seeing how crowded the common kitchen could get.

The restroom was located outside of the apartment. The stairs going up were old and rickety like it could fall apart any minute. Not very safe for little kids.

The location is very convenient. It’s close to the Interlaken West station and has got a range of nice cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. For the four of us as a family, it was a nice cosy room with enough space for luggage and to sleep comfortable beds. The kitchen downstairs has got all the essentials to make light meals and to store food in the fridge if needed. It was quite warm therefore the fans were provided. The coffee vouchers were a nice welcome touch. Thank you.

The washroom basin was difficult to use as it was small and mainly the shelf kept coming in the way. If trying to splash water on the face. The online check in using the web based app wasn’t working but luckily we had the house keeping lady there to help us check in using the downstairs tablet and physical keycards to avoid any late night problems getting into the property. The kitchen did smell most of the times and could put off some people who are sensitive to smells.

The location is great, 5 min walk from train and rail station. The bed was the most comfy I've slept in after 2 weeks of hostels. There's a shared kitchen with fridge to store your food in, which was very helpful. The room was clean and looked like it had recently been renovated, including the bathroom, oh and the shower was good too. oh and the lovely voucher for coffee round the corner was perfect, thank you.

It is quite a noisy building, you can hear the people upstairs and next door even. But most of it stops at 10pm. if you're a sensitive sleeper earplugs are a must.

The apartment in Interlaken was a fantastic stay! The location was ideal—right in the heart of the town but still peaceful, with stunning mountain views. The space was cozy, clean, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable visit. Jan, the owner, was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Be sure to stop by his own SPATZ espresso and wine bar for a drink—it’s a wonderful, laid-back spot, with amazing drinks (I recommend both coffee and espresso martini!) that adds to the charm of your stay in Interlaken.

The location is perfect! 👍🏻 just minutes away the Interlaken West Bahnhof and the supermarket. The family room is very clean and enough for all of us 4. The whole facility itself is awesome.You have a kitchen complete with everything you need, not to mention the free coffee machine you can use. There is a free voucher for coffee in their bistro which is also a nice gesture. In general it is really a nice stay and worth the money. Ariane

The comments would be that the chairs are not enough if you wanna eat inside your room. Plus there is only 1 trash bin in the entire room, a trash bin in the living room would be better. Also the bunk bed is so squeaky.

This hotel was perfect for us. It is close to the train station and there is plenty to do around. The room was a good size. It had this old lockers that we were able to store of clothes and get our luggage out of the way. It was very clean. They had everything we needed for the few nights. There is stairs but not a deal breaker. There isn’t ac but it was not needed. They provide a fan and by morning we had to shut the windows. I had read a review that the walls were thin but on our stay we didn’t hear anyone else.

Our suite was big for family of three staying. It was easy to check in and the location was perfect, away from the busy streets yet very close to get to anywhere. It was a very relaxing place to wind down after a long day. It’s next to a very picturesque river and you are surrounded by natural beauty everywhere.

There are not enough lightings in the main room. The theme is a dimmer light setting which I don’t mind and it adds character to the place. Just wish there is some lighting on the wall of the sink. Not a deal breaker nonetheless.

We like to stay in places that ARE the city and this place hits the mark. The views from the windows and terrace top are unbeatable. The food prices in Switzerland are awful esp for our family of 4 so we used the community kitchen a ton and it saved us money and headache!

The self check in door lock- not a fan. But if we really wanted to use the card option we could have I think and the front “desk” would have been happy to help. Not a game changer or reason to tick off a point-just a minor hassle.

I liked that it had quite a vintage feel and there was a ‘wooden’ concept in the rooms. Beds were quite comfortable and heater was working well given we went there in relatively cold weather. Kudos too to the welcome slabs of chocolates on our beds and the complimentary coffee vouchers! The property staff were also very friendly and helpful, helping us with our questions and queries for our trip planning. Cheers

I guess the lack of a lift was an issue when moving luggage up to our rooms on the 3rd level but all in all, it was great!
