A small historic hotel located in central Interlaken. It's about a 15 minute walk to the east train station (the station which all the trains head up to the Jungfrau region), and 10 minutes to the west train station. There is a supermarket near by as well. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were spacious. There a kitchenette and dining area on the 2nd floor for guest, with a refrigerator, microwave, silverware, snacks etc which made it very easy to dine with purchased food. There is also a hotpot restaurant downstairs (accurate as of July 2025), which smelt amazing every time we returned to the hotel. The breakfast was also decent and had reasonable variety, including fresh fruits. My wife and I were very happy staying here.

Everything about the property was amazing money well spent. The location is excellent with a bus stop just a 2–3 minute walk from the hotel and both Interlaken West and Interlaken Ost stations within walking distance. All staffs were great, and the buffet breakfast was lovely. Room was clean with a comfortable bed, and housekeeping service was excellent. A nice bonus was the guest lounge, which included access to a microwave, fridge, and dining area—perfect if you want to enjoy takeaways. We arrived around 11 AM, and the receptionist working on the morning of Sunday, 20th July, was absolutely lovely—helpful and very friendly. She kindly found a spot to store our luggage so we could explore the area before checking in. Overall, this was a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

There is literally nothing that I didn’t like about the property.

The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. There’s a small dining area where guests can help themselves to a microwave, fridge, and various utensils. Breakfast is served on the ground floor in a spacious restaurant and was perfectly fine. The location is excellent — about 650 m from Interlaken West and 1.3 km from Interlaken Ost by foot, with supermarkets and shops close by.

Everything was fine overall, but noise from the other rooms was quite loud — hopefully this can be improved. The toilet and shower area felt a bit small, and adding toothpaste to the amenities would be a nice touch.

Since we came early they helped us store our luggage in a locked room, so we could enjoy our first day in Interlaken without carrying them around. The check-in process went smoothly and the receptionist tried her best to keep our company of 3 on the same floor, however one room had to be on a lower floor(1) since the other bigger rooms where fully booked. (She did this without us even having to ask). The room we stayed in was exceeding the expectations for the pictures of booking.com, however it will depend on the rooms, since they do differ. Exempel is how the shower/tub is set up and the age of the Portable AC/AC outlet. There was a common area with TV, and Computer/Printer, microwave, communal refrigerator where we could enjoy our brought in food together. Our room, despite being on the first floor right next to mentioned common area was really quiet and the door was solid with a electronic keycard lock. The room was also clean and smelled nice. In the early PM/evening when the HotPot restaurant downstairs was open you could smell the HotPot broth in the corridors but nothing made it's way into the rooms even on the first floor. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of breads, eggs, waffles, cheese, ham and so on. Also a selection of cold and warm drinks. It feels like the Hotel, looking at old(2023)-reviews really have stepped it up and we were positively surprised after our 3 days here.

One thinks that the pillows could be a lot more fluffier but enjoyed the bed, the other thinks that the bed could be harder but enjoyed the pillows.

This hotel is very cute and cozy. The staff are all friendly from check in, to breakfast in the morning to check out. We arrived a lot earlier before our check in and they were kind and stored our luggage until we could check in at 3pm. The hotel room itself was cozy, we had a balcony which was too cold to sit on, however, very cute to step out onto and take pictures when it snowed. There was a lot of hot water for showers, the bed was comfy and everything was clean.

Overall, our stay was great! The breakfast was not the greatest, but most continental breakfasts aren't.

I was truly afraid about this accommodation after reading previous reviews. How stupid of me! IDK what people expected - golden toilet or smth. My stay here was very good! Breakfast was simple, but you won't leave hungry. The bed was comfy, the room was clean and warm. There was complementary bottled water and tea/coffee set. There was shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom. On the first floor there is a meeting area where you can find a fridge and microwave you can freely use, and free tea/coffee and sweets. Location is fabulous! And there is Coop shop nearby too. I strongly recommend this hotel - I am not disappointed.

Beautiful hotel in Interlaken. This hotel is very close to trains station and is walkable. Bus pass provided by the hotel was very convenient and bus stop is very near by to the hotel.COOP with hot food was also walkable. Nice break fast in the morning gave us great start of our trip.Also there is Hot Pot restaurant downstairs which serves delicious fresh soups. Receptionist was very welcoming and gave us all the tips and suggestions and was always willing to help.

If you are looking for a hotel with a good location for exploring the region that is also not expensive, this hotel could be a good match. We spent 2 days at the hotel and had a good experience. The location is perfect, the price is fair, and the staff is very kind. If you speak Portuguese, it's good to know the girls are from Portugal and are very friendly. We are planning to come back to Interlaken during the winter and will try to book a room there again.

It's good to know the room is small and the bathroom is a bit old, but everything was working fine. We didn't have any problems.

Interesting older style hotel. Flat though 15-to-20-minute walk from train station. Had a room just under the roof with a see-saw type window that flipped open for a mountain view. Pleasant staff were helpful. Shared space on a lower level with fridge, microwave, utensils etc is a benefit if you want to raid a supermarket and self-cater for a few meals. Breakfast in a large restaurant room was fine.

Breakfast spread is very good. Esther is very friendly and helpful. She advices guest on how to get around in Interlaken including where to get tickets to go Jungfrau. She also check out on us to ensure everything is fine. The common area is a plus for our family members. We gather every evening for a drink. Free coffee and biscuits are provided for guests.
