- There was a secure room for us to store our luggages before check-in - Great location; close to the city center - Rooftop terrace (where the kitchen is) had gorgeous views of the river and surrounding mountains. Definitely get up to catch the sunrise! - Check-in process was self-service and easy to navigate.

- Rooms were very small. My partner and I shared a 4-bed mixed dorm with another couple; and there was only just enough space for us to move around. It was mostly fine for us as we were only there for one night and were travelling with backpacks – but I'd imagine it could become frustrating if we were staying for a longer period of time, and had large suitcases. - Beds were squeaky. If you're a sensitive sleeper, I'd recommend bringing earplugs.

Great location, facilities are cleaned multiple times per day, great view from room and rooftop, staff speaks good English. This is the best hostel I have stayed in Europe!

Just a small thing but in the kitchen the sensors should be placed differently because when you stop moving the lights turn off immediately and then you kinda have to sit in the dark. Also there is no proper couch in the common areas, I understands it's perhaps to stop people from sleeping there but it wasn't really possible to relax in the common area due to this.

the shower area only covered with a curtain, then the floor got wet after the shower There is always no staff around the reception, you usually have to ask for the help from the staff who from "the hotel next to" but he seems not in patient.

Location excellent. Close from Interlaken OST and even closer from Interlaken WEST station(Walking distance 10 mins hardly) anyone who is travelling to stay at this property should get off and Interlaken west station and simply walk to hostel. Since the hostel has a self check in process no one was available at the reception, available on request though. But I suggest that atleast one representative must be available, as not everyone is that tech savy. Beds in the mixed dorms are beyond horrible makes too much noise while climbing up and while sleeping. Our room size hauntingly bad. Extremely small for 4 people to share. View from shared terrace is fabulous. Shared kitchen and meeting new people from various parts of the world. The bathrooms are good but unfortunately not attached with the rooms which was a huge disappointment. This should be mentioned at the booking page. So about 4 bathroom to shared with N numbers of guests which in our case was manageable but it must be mentioned. Beds I can't point out enough how bad they are. But still i can stay again at the property as overall experience was good. Common areas are good too.

Beautiful and expensive riverside view from the room and the terrace pantry. Very close to train station, bus stops and many shops. In front of halal restaurant & grocery shop. There’s an elevator to carry luggage. Good shared facilities.

The room is very small. Barely any space to open luggage.

Enjoyed our stay here! Loved the location and easy access to everything. Accomodation was clean and tidy. Staff were welcoming and full of local knowledge that was very helpful. The facilities were good and the upstairs common area and balcony was fantastic.

Not the biggest issues but the power kept turning off in the kitchen while we were trying to cook meals. Staff were happy and quick to fix it but got a little annoying when it happened repeatedly two nights in a row, might just be a something Alplodge could look into fixing for future guests. Other than that our stay was wonderful though :)

Aplodge has the best view if you plan to travel for leisure or work. Shared bathroom is not bad. Shared kitchen is also clean. Location is walkable and near train station. We were a group in family room. 2 babies and 5 adults. All fits in. Best thing is when you wakeup with the paragliding and river in front of your eyes. Cheers!

Self check-in is a little bit challenging for those non-pro traveller. But overall it is just fine.

The location is in good position and have beautiful background views. It’s near the river which is have clearly clean fresh water. The environment at the lodge was very comfortable & interesting.

The owner of the property have to inform the coustomer in sharing room, maybe we are not comfortable in sharing room with other coustomers but we are satisfied in sharing facilities.

Almost everything! Responsive staff, easy check-in and check-out process, great got, high pressure showers. Great location!

The USB plugin near my bed didn't always work which resulted in my phone not charging through the night. Additionally, could only find one wall outlet in dorm room for everyone to share. Otherwise, loved this place and would recommend!

The location is awesome - so close to the Interlaken West rail station and right along the river. There’s a lovely kitchen where you can cook food (the market is only 1 block away), and a balcony with great views where you can enjoy your meal. The shared bathroom is fine as long as you don’t plan a shower in 8-10pm time. I would definitely stay here again.

The only complaint was the bed was a bit soft for my liking and the pillow was not as full as I would like. But minor things.
